Hi, I've search all posts about that subject and still have problems. 1st i've the mysql stop at the start and made copy of lib and no more msg of mysql and i startmysql.sh and that is ok. 2nd the Verifying connection with web server ... Failed to establish connection with web server. Gracefully shutting down OpManager. I change the ChangeWebServerPort.sh 8080 9000 and the problem still the same... i change for 8080, 9001, etc etc and still the same problem... i look at the logs and stilll can't
Workstation is asset question.
Hi, we currently have a situation whereby we purchase PC's as packages with the monitor, keyboard and mouse all included. in this scenario the workstation is the asset (ie the workstation does not have an asset added). is there a nice way to reflect this scenario in DA+ ? regards, Daniel.

CPU Contention Problems with MS Report Server
Our installation is having contention problems with AdventNet Service Desk and Reporting Services. I cannot Start the Report Server as a service on the same server as AdventNet because the CPU starts running at almost 100%. This causes Service Desk to lock up and I have to stop the Report Server and restart Service Desk before it clears up again. Has anyone else had this problem in the past? Thanks! dyb

Cant see tables from crystal connection
Hie I have succesfully setup my ODBC connection. I have tested the connection and am getting TEST OK. From Crystal when i try to create a report. I go through ODBC (RDO) then select make a new connection, then select servicedeskplus and enter root for the user. My problem is that i cant see any servicedeskplus tables. I can only see the mysql database and no more. What else should i do to get access to the servicedeskplus database and table I have attached a screenshot of my connections. regards
Expired trial, licence installation
We installed the 30 day trial 30 days ago and have just purchased and received a licence. It would appear that I was just a bit too late in installing the licence as ServiceDesk has appeared to just stop, ie the page just does not display. So does the 30 day trial just stop working after the 30 days, and if so can I install the licence some way so that the modifications and data already input are not lost? Thanks

Partition Detail Resource Monitor query
Hi, One of the Resource Monitors, Partition Details provides the %used of each disk partition on a server. This is very useful to use as we like to keep 20% free on all disks and get an alarm raised when this threshold is broken. However the monitor also includes the same info for physical and virtual memory and we often have less than 20% physical memory available. I would like to have the ability to run reports on all alarms received on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Currently I have the notification profiles to send an alert when a service is down, or a threshold is violated, etc. And another when the alert is cleared, but when I look at all the alarms, it just shows the last alerts received. Issue with notifications
Opmanager is not sending out notifications when an alert is triggered. I looked at the notifications log and I found why it isn't. "Could not connect to SMTP host: localhost" For some reason Opmanager is trying to use localhost to send out notifications even though it is configured to use our mail server as it's smtp host under Admin - Mail Server Settings. I went back and reconfigured the mail server setting but it is still trying to use localhost. Any ideas on how to fix this. Thanks
Servers not polling
I tried to search the forum for this issue but I couldn't find anything similiar to what I am experiencing. I have a few servers that I have added to monitor. They add properly and I can view them under the "maps" tab. But when I click on the server the dials do not appear and there is no polling data for the server. Debian Install a Nightmare
I have spent forever following the incorrect install manual for debian and trolling through your forums trying to get the damn trial working. So far i've ignored the suggestions to copy the libdb 3.2 file cause it's for redcrap not debian and i've linked the real debian libdb3 file in the /lib folder. Traffic Reports low in detail
My Rx/Tx traffic reports are not as detailed as they were before. On a report generated for today, detail is high, on 7 day Report there is a change in detail from about 4 days ago which detail was high but since detail has been very low. Cannot close workorders
I am using ServiceDesk Plus version 5.5.0. I am having issues with closing work orders. Once the work order has been closed it will "magically" reopen. It doesn't happen to just one technician but all of them (six). Any ideas as to why or anything I should look for in my setup?

OpManager MSP version question
My company has purchased MSP version and few probes. So far the product is great, however i did have questions about rebranding the client piece; 1) Is there a way I can totaly disable web/administration site on a client probe? That way i can have a customer just login directly to our main customer site and generate reports or other tasks. 2) Does the customer really has to download a 49MB file just to install a 5mb probe? 3) Can we rebrand the probe ? so it has our logos maybe our tech support numbers?
