Reasonable time to scan a 255.255.0.0 lan segment
I am new to the product.
What is a reasonable time on a 100mb lan network to scan for IP Addresses on a /32 network? Seems to be taking forever, over 6 hours. That doesnt seem right.
To be specific I am scanning 10.1.0.0 with is about 64k of addresses, should it take that long. if not what corrective action can I take.
We are looking to purchase a 10user copy but it needs to run effeciently.
