with SD+ is there a way to make notes regarding a workstation? What I'm trying to do is keep track of system updates and log file reviews. Let me re-word this... I'm trying to do it without a request since I'm the one updating all the workstations. Thanks, Tom

New user using ADS
So I imported all my users just fine, but was wondering if there is, or is going to be a way in the new version to just import a single or small groups of users from different OU's. We constantly have new users joining and people leaving and was hoping for a "quick" way to import them and not have to reimport all 2200+ users each time someone is hired or leaves. Thanks, Terry

DBase Filter: No save button

on the request tab when viewing workstation details I've noticed that there are two requests with the same title and time where in fact there was only one received.

Hello - Over the past few weeks I have noticed that these forums are running extremely slow! Pages take 10secs+ to load at times, making browsing for topics painful. All of the workstations at our company are assigned a number, by means of a label that we affix to them. I would like to put that number into the workstation details in Service Desk Plus, and I figured "Service Tag" would be a fitting field to put this workstation number in. I have problem with setting up email notification profile - I have set email to be sent as "plain text" in notification profile, but notification emails are still sent as mime multipart. What am I doing wrong ? I am using OpManager on CentOS 4.4. I have tried to install it on Windows 2003 server too, but the result is the same - plaintext notification emails are sent as multipart. Run NetFlow Analyzer on a separate server
Hi AdventNet, In your manual you mention "Run NetFlow Analyzer on a separate, dedicated PC or server. The software is resource-intensive, and a busy processor can cause problems in collecting NetFlow data." As we've discovered a dual xeon with 4GB of RAM is not coping, and even in the 1 daily report I do I can see huge dips in the chart for whenever anyone does anything in the GUI. Backup only the configuration
I was wondering if you could create an option or a script that would just back up the configuration data. This would just backup the device list,application mapping,ip groups etc and not backup all the netflow data. Active directory / network scan
Q1.If i at day one do a scan of active directory and computers outside the domain will both of these lists be added together so i don't just get the domain workstations but also the non-domain workstations? Q2. If i at day 2 do a new scan, will the computers that were not connected on day one be added to the list of computers or will the result of that days scan be the only computers in the list?
Make all users see all requests
Is there a way to make all the users see all the requests that are open or not closed? In case several users report the same error they can see that it has already been addressed by other users. Or is there another way to solve this?

How can I check a systems SNMP status with Opmanager
We are evaluating the trail version of Opmanager. We had SNMP on a couple of our test box hang. Opmanager did not alert us that it was no longer getting snmp info from the test box. Can opmanager check the SNMP status and send an alert if it goes down? We tried creating a service alarm for port 161 and it lists the port as down. Thanks Tom
