"Network Scan" Problem
Hi When running scans on different subnets, I am finding after a while (maybe 30 sec - 1 min) that the page goes blank with "cannot find server" in the title bar. Any ideas what might be causing this? Pressing F5 reloads the "scanning" page but scanning stops on 0/254. I have run individual scans which work but not when the subnet is selected in network scan :(. :)

Hi, I need to notify multiple group once a request is created, unpicked or etc. How can I get it work? If I just create a business rule, is it will override what we have set during the creation of the request? Thank you.
monitor HP-UX servers
Hi, I am new to Opmanager, been using to monitor windows servers. But When I tried to monitor HP-UX servers it is not possible. HP-UX version is B 11.11 SNMP is also running. Could any one please help in monitoring these HP-US servers. Thanks in advance Gourish

Cannot enumerate AD groups
I'm trying to reimport my user data base and it hangs on enumerating User groups. It may be a separate issue, but the asset management can't scan machines either at this time - it worked in the past.

UPS monitoring
Hello, i'm setting up OPManager 6.014 and everything was fine until i try to monitor UPS. I have both APC and SOCOMEC UPS and i wonder if it's possible to have the same snap shot for all of them. I mean i'm having the good info for APC UPS, but just have "NA" or "DATA not available" for SOCOMEC ones. just succeeded in creating some customs graphs, but nothing that fits in this frame attached in jpg in this post. I did load the Netvision MIB for Socomec UPS, but it doesn't work. Can anyone please

I want to be able to export group properties page as as PDF. Or get a report created that allows me to select the properties of an object and use the admanager built in 'export as' function to export/print. Is this possible?

Hi all I'm just trialling SD+ and have found that it would be really useful to be able to group workstations and be able to assign requests to a group. We are a college and many of our requests are for an individual classroom or complete building. It is also important for us to be able to report by classroom. This may also address another request I have seen for the inclusion of geographical 'sites' Thanks Steve

Is there an ability to view all of my requests. Rather than having to look at 5 different filters, why can I not just see each and every request assigned to me? I have looked through and haven't found much about this type of thing. I cannot believe that the only people who want this functionality are the group that I work with.

How to customize order form?
I would like to know if there is a way to add new fields in the order form. i.e: i would like to add a new field called "Proyect Number" in wich i will type the numeric code that our financial departament applies to all IT orders. I could use another non used field for that, but i would like if there is an option to add a new one. I'd like to assign an account to another person when I create the new account. Your help system says, " Notes: By default, the person who creates the account owns the account. If you want to assign the account to a different user, in account creation form, select the user name from Assigned To field. OPManager not working after upgrade
I have upgraded Opmanager from 6002 to 6013. In order to do this I had to install SP1 first, because I was getting "the hotfix can be applied only over 6010 build". After installing SP1, I installed the 6013 hotfix. Now the Opmanager service is missing from the windows service. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Mail Server Settings
I'm having an issue with the Mail Server Settings for Incoming Mail. I have a question about the ServerName/IPAddress, I have put the correct IP and tried the Server Name with no go. We use SMTP on port 25, and I have created a Help Desk User in AD and an Exchange Mailbox, and I keep getting same error: FAILURE :Email Settings saved successfully. But error occurred while trying to check connection with mail server - Problem connecting to mailbox. Any thoughts?
[MSP6003] No Admin/Support tab when logging in as Admin
After updating my MSP to build 6003 my Admin and Support tab disappeared when I log in as Admin. Other users I created do have to admin tab available. Help!!! :)

Assign one workstation to multiple requesters.
Hi, Is it possible to assign one workstation to more then one requester? Example: Our CFO owns a laptop. All the persons of the secretary department (4 people) has to make the requests for the CFO. Now you can only assign the workstation to one requester. So when the 4 people logon with their own SD+ account, they only see their own workstation, and not also the workstation of the CFO. bug in the report counter
Hello When I do a search for a string, say "failed" the page returned contains the found matches and so far ok but the counter on the top of the page never changes, it always show the total number of records not the returned records Which it is a bit useless because if I search for something I would like to know how many entries have been found for the specific search. I would like to know what ports or services need to opened to allow me to add this server. Hi, I am very new to the world of AD, but I need now to do a comparison of the contents of AD and SQL Server tables to ensure that the results of updates have correcly been applied. Couple of questions - SNMP & timings
I've just begun using OpManager MSP and I'm hoping that someone will be able to offer some advice here. SNMP Problem I have enabled SNMP on a number of the desktops at one of the probes but upon rediscover they still do not register as having SNMP enabled. Is there something else that can be done in order to sort this? I'm not familiar with using a mib browser so I'm unsure as to how checks cna be done using this tool...I've read the material available here and I'm still at a loss. Timing The clients
Latency problem ---- Windows 2003
All Servers Opmanager (6012 on Windows 2003 R2) manages have a slowly increasing latency problem over the last 4 weeks. Opmanager does not figure out that the monitoring server is the problem.....after a reboot everything seems to be OK. Is there any way how I can improve this situation? Dipe
Strange Statistics
We are evaluating the analyzer which on the face of it produces a lot of useful information. The thing is I am getting confused. Outbound web access is showing as Inbound and it appears that our outgoing eMail is showing as Outbound where it should. With outbound web access it goes via a proxy in our protected network, then onto a virus scanning proxy in the DMZ and out. I have setup the DMZ and protected network as Intranets. Damian
