Problem Monitoring Active Directory
hello, this is my first time using Opmanager, i find this software very helpful, thanks for making this software, making my job way much easier and saving much time..., i have a slight problem.., i already instal the software and assigning it to monitor some of our infrastructure device.., all device were detected and giving us allot of information.., but it cant monitor the Domain controller, i've followed the help file related to this problem.. but i still cant fixed it.. it says that the software
Problem implementing powernet.mib
We have several APC Smart UPS with SNMP-card installed) and want to monitor some of the possible values. Therefore I wanted to upload the powernet380.mib to opmanager. Uploading works but browsing through with mib browser does not getting this error: "Error parsing MIB:powernet380.mib Exception while loading MIB:Could not parse the file D:/OPMANA~1/./mibs/powernet380.mib The error occured at the line no: 25102 ,column: 50. Suggestion for Business Views Feature
We currently have some servers with multiple physical interfaces linked to a layer-3 switch which provides a separate VLAN connection for each interface. Currently we can only configure a single link between devices but it would be very useful to configure 2 or more. Is it possible to see this feature in the near future? Thanks.
Configuring Cisco 6506 with Sup720
It works fine and I�m impressed about the reporting facility on NFA with my Cisco Internet Routers. I wish to try it out with our Cisco core switches Cisco 6506 with Sup720 with IOS Version 12.2(17d) SXB11a Currently I am using Cisco modular NAM 2 for the monitoring and not really happy with it!!! Can I use the same NFA to monitor both the Internet Router and the LAN Core Switches? Can you help me with the configuration procedures on our clustered Core Switches and if any in NFA?

Disk Utilization doesn't show
Hi all I've added two new devices to our OpManager system and they are not displaying the data. We are using version 7010. If I go to the MIB browser and enter in all the right details it gives me a response (see below). I have had a problem with my server and have had to rebuild, I need to download SD+6 ideally 6012 to recover my system but in the download archive every like downloads either SD+5 or SD+7, very frustrating, does anyone know where I can get the V6 installer?

SLA reflected by read/reviewed time or created time?
Evening! Are SLAs based on their READ time, or their Created time? We did the upgrade on the central server to version 6005 from 6004 and this seemed to go good in the end. BUT the probes do/did not update automatically! All were red. Feature Request: Outlook Calendaring/Maintenance Scheduling
Hi, It would be great if Support Center could handle client maintenance. Have like a section that lists what client maintenance is due for the month and also have the ability to compile a report which can be emailed to the client and once the maintenance has been completed. Also it would be good if we could schedule ad-hoc request into the support representatives calendar. cheers
Outlook integration failing
Hi We have a problem with the Outlook integration to SupportCenter plus. The initial sync works fine, and additional sync with new contacts works as well. cisco router syslog message delay or missing
just download free build version 4.0.3 test with our cisco router, checked config correct in my router and syslog send to EvenLogAnalyzer and Kiwi SyslogD, KiwiSyslogD show the message at once, but EvenLogAnalyzer few message show at once, mostly delay more then 5min to show in web gui and few was missing too. any idea ? thx kk
OpManager 7.0 - build notes
Can you please direct me to a list which shows what things are changed in each build that you release. A list or thread is needed so we users can determine if it is worth the time/risk etc installing that particular build or waiting for a later one. I would suggest it be a sticky that cannot be replied to by users and you add a reply each time you release a build and include what you have changed. more OPManager v7 PROBLEMS
we have a daily job extracting data from the URL database, however after the upgrade we are not able to get any data anymore. It looks like data from previous was not migrated properly and it's now using a different DB... may we know how we can fix this? Thanks

BUG - Save and Close does not notify
G'day Just found a bug in the system. When you enter a resolution and press the Save&Close button in the same screen the request is closed without sending out a notification. No trace also in the conversations pane. If I close it using the Closed button in the request screen it does notify. Can this please be fixed? thanks, Sandoor Version 6007 Win2k3 MSSQL

I have just downloaded SCPlus within the last week and am having a problem wiht the JAVA CPU utilization pegging at 100%. I an on the latest build and it has gotten to the point I cannot even get to the web page anymore. Wondering if anyone has any info about this. Thanks Don

Link to request into Web Portal
Users do not like having to have another username and password to get into support center. Is it possible to send the customer an encrypted link that will only allow them access to their request in a read only web portal view. This would remove the need for customers to have usernames and passwords simply for an update on their current request.
Solutions
I would like to have the ability to limit access to certain solutions based on role or user login. There are certain solutions that you may not want everyone viewing that has access to the solution's module. I know that you can enable / disable self-portal user�s access to solutions. Asset/software database
Hi there, One thing that would be great for ServiceDesk, Opmanager and DesktopCentral is for them to share the same asset database. It seems that i have to maintain three different asset databases when it would be nice that all three products could synchronise their assets, otherwise it seems pointless having an asset/software list in both desktopcentral and servicedesk plus, as well as the assets configured in opman. uploading an inventory CSV causes service to fail
we are running V7 SDP here (37,751,788k sized) and we cannot upload standard CSV with our PC inventory details - it stops the service so severely we have to reboot the server. Restarting the service does not make the service work. worse still we cannot uninstall the program to reinstall as it has a "Installshield Engine (ikernel.exe) could not be launched. My MSsql database is getting heavy load on CPU !
Hi ! Since october 1st i my MSsqldatabase went from 10-20% CPU load to constant 75% Cpuload. It also started to put out loads of log files. Her is what comes in the log file over and over again. Can't connect to SD+ web interface from linux systems
Whenever I try to connect to our SD+ site from a linux PC it just hangs. It works fine from Macs and PCs running Windows. I tried it from the command line using wget and that hangs as well. I can see the initial request in the logs, but nothing after that and nothing comes back. SDP +7 - Workstation Network Interface details
How are the Network Interface card details exposed for reporting or groups please. What I wanted to do was a Group or report showing all the wireless enabled devices, should have been easy as limited hardware set deployed so was going to look for the type of NIC as shown in the Workstation page. Changing the request number start point
Is it possible to change the sequence number that SDP starts from for issuing request numbers. Just we are looking to cut over from an old to new system and if possible would like to continue the sequence numbering , creating 15000+ dummy requests to dump the number up seems a little over the top Regards, Andy
OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Friday, servicedesk worked ok. After this weekend, we refreshed the page wich was still open, and got a 500 error from apache. after restart of services it still didnt work (mysql could reserve port) so a reboot of the machine did the trick.
