Can not remove alarm...tried all the tricks

One of my W3K server snapshots has a windows event alarm that will not delete (or show details which is just blank on clicking link)

I am quite used to clearing ghost and stuck alarms in the three weeks I have had opmanager but this one got me beat.

Have...

Show alarms - select - clear and delete - just get blank
Show alarms - delete all - just get blank page.
deleted "event" rows for source via mysql. Strangely it does not appear. (So what table is it?)
Changed IP to force alart aka clear ghosts
Cleared IE cache, tested another IE to make sure its not my PC.
unmanaged - managed
restarted service AND server.

This is not a ghost its a devil!
