ticket creation timestamp
We are running version 6.0.0 build 6009 and just recently I noticed the ticket creation date/time stamp as an hour behind but yet the clock running at the top of the window for SC+ is the correct time. I have verified the PC's in our office are set correctly. Where does SC+ pull the date/time stamp from when a ticket is created and how do I correct it?
Google Map - Multipe Devices of One Location
Maybe I overlook but how can I add muliple devices to one location? I can add the devices one by one with the same location name but it shows only one device when I "on over" the pin of the location. Please let me know. Thanks JC

Request Type
Hi I have just updated to SD7 v7005. I was very pleased to see the listed feature in the readme that allows the Request Type to be changed, then I discovered that this feature only applies to the ITIL version. Although it would be nice to use in my version (please), at the moment as it is visible in the Helpdesk Customizer it just causes an unnecessary (but much wanted)step in the process. I guess you can remove it in a future upgrade. Regards
SD+ upgrade failed
We are using version 5507, it works well. But when we upgrade to version 6000, it failed at 98% and rollback. 1. Backup 5507 data (success) 2. Install a new 5507 (success) 3. Restore 5507 data (success) 4. Upgrade to 6000 (fail) Is it possible a 5507 data compatible problem? We can send data if need. Thanks. Leslie

Windows Service Monitor in down state
I recently upgraded from version 6 to version 7. It appears everything went fine but when I tested the system I see problems. I stopped a service on one of my servers. When I click on the device in OpManager the Windows Service shows as Down but the Device Status is Clear. I have played around with Notification profiles and Escalation settings but nothing is working. Can someone please let me know what to do so I don't have to restore my ghost image.
Device Type and Monitoring Error After Update to 6005

Devices not discovering / Devices going missing
I am currently using the free version of OpManger. I have Discovered the devices I need to. A couple of them are still being put in to the Desktop Category despite being 2003 boxes. I have verified all snmp settings are on and correct. The next problem is, domain controllers keep vanishing. I have checked all the default categories and they are no where to be found! Elapsed time field can only register hours:min:sec. We would like to be able to have days there as well, so it is easier to understand (when requests take very long to fix, like 456 hours is difficult to understand )
7004: Import from AD
It is good, that in 7004 has earned import from AD when in OU name there were not-latin letters. Badly that now instead of a displayName of the user its samAccountName (or some similar) is imported. :(
OOB Monitors appear to be missing
I just upgraded my opmanager to 7021 and now when I try to add a performance monitor to a server, there are not in the list. All I get is a single line of text saying click here to add a custom monitor. Right now I am trying to add a simple disk usage monitor to a newly discovered server. Furthermore, if I remove an existing monitor and try to readd it, I cannot find it anywhere. This happens no matter what category of monitor I try to add. How do I get the monitors back?
MSP 6005 released....
Hi , We did a quick release on MSP to offer the much asked for features in remote control module. With the new 6005 release you can now do a control+alt+del automatically while logging into the remote machine. This helps you to troubleshoot unattended remote servers that are either locked or not logged in. List of items that have gone into 6005: Remote Control issues fixed in the NAT environment of MSP setup. Logged Off or Locked Machines can now be controlled by using OpManager MSP Remote Control.
Migrating from OpManager Pro to MSP?
Is it possible to migrate data from OpManager Pro to the MSP version? I know it was not in the past but I didn't know if version 7 uses the same database format as MSP.

Script Monitoring Exit Code
Using a Script Monitor to view statistics output from a database. The table is parsed correctly, but the script Health is always displayed as 'Resource is Down'. The message displayed at the top of the monitor page says 'Exit code is 1'. What does this mean? I see no reference to it within the product documentation. This is a simple batch file on a Windows Server 2003 machine and just echoes some text. The real output is in the file, but I would like to no why AppManager is failing this action.

CheckPoint ClusterXL
Hi, One of our clients uses CheckPoint ClusterXL software. I was wondering if it is possible so that when the log files are imported into to the Firewall Analyzer, it treats the 2 firewall cluster nodes as one unit instead of the individual firewalls themselves? Perhaps an option would be to make the way Firewall Analyzer display the information based on how the user chooses to view the information - ie. As individual nodes or one unit? Thanks Nolan
Generating Reports - Failed Login
Hi, I want to know if theres a way we can generate reports of all users but just including failed logon to VPN, like this. User ---- IP ---- Attempts ----- Time/Date I found silimar report when I click on Security, but it shows: User --Attempts --- % Attempts And when I click on the user appears: User ---- Date/Time ---- Status ----Message (with the IP at first) So my conclusion, the info is there, but how can I generate the report I need? Maybe Im missing something so then I cant do it. Thanks.
Brocade Silkworm "not a switch"
I am trying to port map a brocade silkworm 2800 fibre switch but when I run switch port mapper Oputils returns that the device is not a switch. OpManager also only returns the managment interfaces and not the fabric connections? Please help Mark

Interface display names
Hi, I'm running opmanager 7021 and i'm having a problem with display names on the interfaces. On all the migrated switches (from 6 to 7) they are just set to default. ie. the same as the interface name and if i add new switches it fills in the field with the description from the switch...which is what i want. Unfortunately though it won't update. If i change information on the switch and do a re-discover on the device or interfaces it doesnt update. the only way seems to be to delete and re-add the
Monitor naming creates error
Hi, I dont know where is the best place to submit this, but I found a "bug". When creating a custom monitor, the interface allow the ' character, however, when trying to change the Treshold on the monitor with a name containing a ', an error occur, since it screw up the SQL query. I use OpManager 7 and my Exchange server does no show any data in the SMTP monitors area. When I test any of them the result is: Protocol WMI 1. The device might be down. 2. Hi We had an event that reports shows no data available and I tried to run an repairdb. After reparing, reports started to show data. I want to know the ff: 1. Why did our database got corrupted all of a sudden? 2. How do we ensure or maintain a good database? 3. Unable to apply Interface Template change to devices
Hi there, I have just upgraded to OpManager build 7020 (from 6005 - big steps!!) and everything seems fine, however one thing I have noticed is that I cannot apply a change I make to an Interface Template, to the devices. As an example if I modify the Interface type 6 (Ethernet) from a Utilization threshold of 30, to 80, eventually I get a list of all the devices/interfaces and it tells me to click Save to apply the change. I click Save, and get a blank screen. I then either need to go back in my
