Where can I find fix lists for builds short of installing?
Still fairly new to SD+ and Adventnet, I'm having a difficult time locating fix lists for SD+ build versions. They don't seem to be in the Archives Download folders. A tip please. Thanks in advance.

Tomcat 6.x Monitor
I have setup several Tomcat v6.x monitors and none of them show the Threads Availability information for the HTTP connectors. Each Tomcat server has 2 HTTP connectors and they are all 0's for busy threads, current threads and maximum spare threads on all of my tomcat servers. Why doesn't this work? Slavek Jurkowski
Technician Notifications
Currently running on 6014. Is there anyway to tell the system not to generate a notification if the technician creates the request and assigns it to himself? Thanks, Christian
Switch port mapper and Linksys switches
Hi all, i am wondering if there is anyone who has had experience setting up switch port mapper with Linksys POE switches. The switches i am using are SRW2048 and SRW248G4P. I have been on this forum before, but i think i need to specify exactly the devices i am using so someone who has had exposure to both can be of assistance! i am almost positive that it is something on the switches that i am forgetting to do or have stuffed up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
On-demand scan for multiple workstations
Instigate a domain scan and update of selected workstations from any filtered or full workstation asset list, with a button to 'scan now' which performs an on-demand scan on the selected items. This would help in updating a set of PCs. If a new application had been installed in a single department you could filter their workstation list to show only their PCs and scan them all with a couple of clicks. This would be preferable to scanning on an individual PC basis or for the entire domain if only
Feature Add
Allow mass delete of user and all associated shares and directories such has home folders, tsprofile directories and mailbox. I would also like to see a "ping" feature to see if a machine or server resides in DNS. I competitor of yours does that and it is a nice feature. I am seeing this error message in the applnerr**.txt log file when trying to update stats from solaris devices: max connections per device reached on solaris is this a known issue or has anyone come up against it before?
Frustrated with Firewall Analyzer performance
FW Analyzer is a terrific tool when our university network is quiet, but since the students have returned in the past few weeks, it has completely collapsed under the load. I spoke with a support engineer and ended up dialing back the logging level on our PIX and logging only specific messages, but it still can't keep up. Are there are performance tuning tricks besides the MySQL memory tweak? Anything else I can try? The system I am running on is a dual core 2.33 GHz Intel Xeon with 2 Gb of memory,

Opmanager MSP monitor custom device traffic
Hello, I have a device on a specific network that is not pingable but I can check for specific (citrix) traffic on a specific port via telnet. HOw Can I add it to the monitored devices? If I try to import it inserting the ip with a manual device add, this device doesn't come to the added devices. SO if I was able to have this device in the listed devices I'm able,I think, to add a custom monitor on a specific port. The problem is how to import it due to the fact is not pingable. How do I add Locations?
The help pdf talks about the admin tab having a locations option in the helpdesk section. I have no location on mine. I can see in the workstation that Region, Site and Location are there, but cannot set the Location anywhere. I am on build 7008. Thanks Rich
Requests still highlighted in Bold after being picked up
We have noticed that when a technician picks up a request it still remains highlighted bold in the list. If we then go in to the request details and choose the technician a second time the bold highlight disappears. Is the bold highlighting supposed to show an unassigned request? If so it is not working properly. Thanks.
Error downloading service packs for 7.00 and 7.05
I have been having trouble downloading the service pack to get from build 6013 to 7000 and to service pack to get from build 7000 to the current level. When I try to download by clicking on the link I get an error stating that "Internet Explorer cannot display the page" and if I try right-clicking on the link and selecting 'Save As' I receive a message stating that the server has responded with an error. Changing DueBy Dates for non-SDAMIN & Notes
It would be beneficial if permissions could be set for non-administrative users to adjust DueBy dates Also, something helpful to our process is if a note addition could be defined to automatically extend the DueBy date by a defined period.
Restricting requester view of their own calls
Weve been piloting SDP to allow us to tweak it to our own requirements. During this period we have not 'advertised' it to staff and as such have had the notifications for requesters turned off. The natural progression now is to turn the notifications on so that A) staff can log/post calls to SDP via email B) They are automatically notified of ticte numbers on open and close. Unassigned Requests
Hello all, We are working with SD+ as the main tool for our service centre and have many groups we send requests to that arrive in the unassigned queue via mail fetch. My question is, is it possible when we allocate requests to groups(that have many technicians in them) can they be moved from the unassigned requests list, we have alomost a 100 now and will have many more soon, and it will become a nightmare to administer the unassigned tasks. How to disable 'Close Accepted' function
In previous versions of SD+ we could close requests without being prompted for a "Close Accepted" notification. How can I disable this in version 7009 as we do not use this facility.
Open and Close call in one action?
Hi Support, We have had a discussion in the office today regarding calls that come in by phone which are resolved in the first phone call. We would like to be able to log a call while the customer is on the phone and if we resolve this in the first pass we would like to change the status of the call to Closed to save us some time going back in to the call and closing it, this also reduces the email traffic and customers getting hit with an open email and a closed email immediately after. when any [selected..] Exchange Monitors are DOWN not working
hi, I have a threshold on "Remote queue length" part of the "SMTP Monitors". On a working "Notification Profile" that emails (which works) I have "Exchange Monitors are DOWN not working" ticked and "Remote queue length" ticked. Today a marketeer decided to mailshot 2000 people a 5mb file. "Remote queue length" went over threshold but we got no email. Now the config line says "DOWN". Should I get emails when threshold are broken or just when service is down? If yes it is not working or I am missing

I added a new Event Log Rule for: Source: IAS Category: None Event ID: 1 Type: Information User: N/A Severity as: Attention I applied the rule to our IAS server and generated the event, but OpManager did not report or alert when the Event was generated. What did I do wrong?

Users cannot see their requests in the self service portal
SD works fine for us technicians, but users cannot see their requests when they log on (they can log on OK). I have patched SD to its latest version (7009). We are using SQL server rather than MySQL. I am wondering if there is some authentication issue going on there...
Workstation scan
I have setup SD7 and I'm currently working my way thru my assets but note that the workstations that have been added following a domain scan do not auto appear under the assets. I assume this is by design but do I really need to create all the asset info if I already have the workstations/printer/switches, etc available following a domain scan? Surely there's an easier way?
Reasons for Update on request not showing in History

starting probe problem
hi i have install one opmanager probe and it was stop and i am trying to start the probe using startdms command but after certain services started, it wan't go beyond and for that i am sending attachment file so plz helped me sothat i can start the probe and we can monitor the network.
Device discovered as domain controller cannot be accessed
When a device is detected as a domain controller, you cannot access the device in OpManager. When you click on the device you get an error of "Active Directory Monitoring Add On Feature is not licensed." You can't even access it to change the type or delete it. Using build 7023 for Windows.

Can't add new server to collect event logs
I tried adding a new server called server2 (172.19.65.64) and it tells me its a duplicate so I can't add it. I searched over my servers and can't find any servers with the same name, but I did find a server listed with the same IP address. So I figured this was the problem. This server called server1 actually has an IP of 172.19.71.25 but use to have one called 172.19.65.64. For some reason Eventlog analyzer still shows it with the old IP and I don't see anyway to change it. When I check the logs
