Timer stop by individual requester / technician
In the latest version of SD+ 7, SLA timer can be stopped by set the operational hours, holidays and status in request. But is it available for setup a new function which allow we stop the timer by set the requester / technician is on leave. It is very important for the service as sometimes which the technician is on leave, the request assigned to him may overdue... at the same time, some request need to close by the requester but they may not available to close it before overdue as they leave.
Feature Request - On Hold Time
We have a policy in place that a technician cannot put a call Onhold without the agreement of the requester. We think it would be great if there was a way for the tech to set a date that the ticket will be onhold until. This date would be able to be modified by the tech or the requester and would alter the due date. Just a thought. How do others deal with tickets that need to be put on hold but don't want them to be marked as overdue?

Purchase Orders - Adding Products
The way that products are added to the purchase order needs to be redesigned... Current issues: 1. When selecting a vendor the items list area automatically populates with all of the products associated with that vendor. 2. When clicking on the 'add item' button the 'Enter the product details here' dialog appears a. The 'Product Name' text box requires manual entry instead of a pick list from the vendor specified in the PO 3. There is no option to select & delete items from the items section Enhancements:
Limit events kept
Hi, We are running Eventlog 5, is there a way to limit the amount of information it keeps in the database? I ask because on average it's collecting 300mb per day and would like it to keep only 14 days worth of events logged. thanks
PO module - buying software... Version group? Licenses?
I started using the PO module about a month ago. It's had its ups and downs, but for the most part I really enjoy the ability to add assets in a logical overall manner. I don't understand the purchasing of software, however. If I am buying my first copy of AutoCAD LT 2009 from vendor "Test", I'll have to "Add New" to get that product in the system. MSP Probe Install failure
Hi I have 2 Small Business servers that are giving the same error. Open Issues with SDP 7.0.0 build 7017
Support, please respond. The following list of issues are open with SDP 7.0.0 build 7017. Some of these issues I have been reporting since build 7009. I have not received specific feedback on any of these issues. Adventnet, please comment and resolve: 1.) There is no way to delete an asset connection relationship other than replacing it. This greatly limits the usefulness of this feature. For example, a relationship between a computer and a printer cannot be deleted, only replaced with a new relationship.
SD+ Crash with Audit Settings Scheduled
Only to inform you that running SD+ 7.015 & activating schedulation on AUDIT SETTINGS (every day), SD+ will crash using all memory with java.exe. Even trying to enlarge memory size for java.exe, crash is appearing. i solved turning off that schedulation but would be nice have some fix in the next hotfix. Is there anybody else that has same issue? thanks Cesar

Dear sirs, To display the state of our apps and network, we use a couple of wall-screens so that all IT-employees can monitor network and app health and availability. To incorporate multiple views from different monitoring tools (we use Opmanager as well and some other tools as well) we use a browser with a set of frames of which each frame displays an overview of a different tool. Unfortunately there is no way to show the Plasma View in Applications Manager within the browserframe as it always shows
Discover Servers Using CSV file
Hi I created a list in a CSV file with 450 servers. 300 of them are already discovered in OPmanager. I upload the file select the fileds and after a lot of time of activity it displays that 450 Servers with OS Windows 2003 are ready to be imported. If i expand the list i see all the names of the servers. I select import. and It finishes that very fast without errors but the servers are not discovered. I still have 300 servers. Accessing requests directly through the URL
Hi, We've found a situation whereby users have been opening a request in SupportCentre and then modifying the URL to get to another request. Whilst this correctly prevents them from accessing requests they don't have the rights to view, it has caused a problem when a request has been merged. running ELA as a non-admin account
Hi, has anyone managed to run ELA as a non-admin account? The support Guys - who had been very helpful so far - are trying to tell that it's impossible. I'm nearly certain that's not right. Most of the apps can be run as limited user. I must not run applications under admin account for security reasons - to minimize affect of a potential compromise of ELA. Asset tracking in SC Plus
We're a managed service provider trying out SC Plus 7 to support our external clients. One of the features I don't see is asset tracking, for example software licenses. I know there is a way to manage ip resources with ManageEngine, but is there anything to help with non-IP resources?
Monitoring parameters and email alerts
I've just install OpUtils 5 and play with it for a while, but didn't find alerts configuration option. For example: if errors appeared on Cisco switch interface then send email-alert to designated email-address. Can it be performed with OpUtils 5 or any other software from AdventNet? Physically mapping from Index# to Cisco Switch
We are running a Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switch with 6 blades. A few of the ports (indexes) are offline and/or have issues as reported by OpManager. I want to know how we can map a certain index # to a port physically across all the blades. The indexes in OpManager range from 1-278. Each of our blades has 48 ports for the Cisco Catalyst 6500 switch. If we can map the index # to a port physically on the Switch, then we can remedy the situation. Adding Purchase Order name on the print out.
Is there a way to add the "Purchase order Name" in the print out report. Right now It's confusing when looking at by purchase order number not the name. Atleast with the name it will allow us to determine what's in the PO.

Switchport Mapper Issue

ON HOLD function doesn't stop requests going overdue
What's the point of the ON HOLD status if it doesn't actually stop the timer? Surely a request ON HOLD should not have a DueBy Date and therefore only have one re-specified when the request comes back to Open?

Some time back soon after purchasing SD6 (now at SD build 7013), I got the impression that we were going to get a remote agent to install at every workstation for the sake of updating the inventory both software and hardware. When will OpManager use more then one CPU?
Looking for a time line. I have OpManager installed on a Redhat Linux 5.2 server. The server has 4 CPU's, 4 cores each, and 32GB of ram. OpManager does not take advantage of any more then one CPU and will not use more then 2GB of ram. Is this going to be fixed soon? -Adam

Trouble adding server with more than one processor
Hi, I can't add in appmanager a server with more than one processor. Always the result is the same "Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided. Build 7017 - Currency cannot be changed from dollars ($)
In this build the currency reverted to dollars. When I went in to Purchase Orders - Default Values and changed it to pounds (�) requests still show dollars. <sigh> One bug after another...!
