Error Message when OpManager trys to refresh stats
Hi All, I am having a problem with OpManager V8. Everything has beem working fine since Monday, now all of a sudden I keep getting an message whenever OpManager trys to refresh a any stats. Error message; Error Occured - We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after some time or refresh the page and try again. Has anyone had the this problem? I would appreciate any advice. Delay notification
I've been searching and haven't been able to find anything that seems to help. I'd like to delay notification of down interfaces on cisco routers. I want to get notified after an interface is down for 5-10 minutes. SNMP traps are instant of course, but is there a way to tell opmanager to alert me if the alert isn't cleared within a certain period of time?
Lost All Personal Custom Views !!
I worked long hours to make a personal custom views for Daily all closed tickets/ Weekly Closed/ Weekly Intarget / Monthly Overdue etc but then, the settings have been lost. I got the following errors: 1-The calendar displays: NaN-NaN-NaN and not numbers 2-All the custom view filetring options disappears if I want to edit it. 3- Get thousands of tickets for just one week calls ( displays:14800 ticket while i'm looking for a number between 2/02/2009 and 9/02/2009) which is not true!! managed software question
We have a total of 37 licenses for a piece of software we have identified in SDP. The difficulty is that updates are free so we have some clients using version 9.0, some using 9.1, and some using the current build of 9.1.1 SDP see's these as separate instances of software, which they are, but how does one go about allocating licenses properly for this? (see my attached image) As it is we have the 37 licenses allocated to the version 9.1 software, but it would then look like we are under licensed

Error installation update pack OpManager
Hi, I'm working with OpManager 7200 and I'm trying to install OpManager 8 update pack I downloaded the opmanager 8 update pack on your web site. But when I choose the ppm file ( MYSQL 5 or OpManager 8) with the update manager tool, I have an error message wich is : "The file that you have specified is not compatible with this product" I don't understand why I have this message Can U help me please, thanks for your help Raynald
V 7.022 Products associated to vendors not appearing in POs
hello after upgrading to 7022 from 7017, I went to create a PO and cannot see any of the products associaed with that vendor. i checked the admin tab and these products are still listed as being associated to that vendor. has this issue been addressed in the subsequent hotfixes? thanks.

Hello, I can not complete the process of updating the version: AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_7_0_0_SP-0_22_1.ppm for AdventNet_ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_7_0_0_SP-3_0_0.ppm. Cannot created requests with technicians as the requester
I am hoping someone has run into this issue after applying SP 7505. We are not able to create a request with a technician as a requester. There is no error. If I create a new request and use someone who is a tech as the requester and click add request, the request is not created. I just get brought back to the Request tab. I have tried a re-import of AD which did not help. I tried calling support but had to leave a voice mail Has anyone seen this? Thanks!

Error when updating 7017 to 7022
Greetings to my friends from India! When running the update.bat to upgrade 7017 to 7022; i receive the attached error. The installation status is 100% completed, yet the "Finish" and "View Logs" buttons are not available in the Install Wizard applet. The Cmd.exe is reporting a "Severe: Inside SDFinalPostProcessor." message. in searching your site i see another reference to this error for version 5; and the response states that "This is normal and you should not worry". ?? I don't see how an error

I just upgraded to Version 8 today and immediately started getting this... Data not collected for BackplaneUtilization:Error: Request Timed Out I had never gotten it before and I confirmed that I had the right credentials. I even deleted the the switches and re-added them and continued to get the errors. I also seem to be getting AuthenticationFailure : null, I'm not sure what that is in relation to but I thought I would mention it as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Josh
SelfService erasing User logon name off AD for users
Hello, I've gone through the forum and have not seen this issue mentioned but I wanted to take the time to bring it up since I think it's a critical one. We've configured ADSelfService for users to be able to update their general information with nothing pertaining to the domain such as User logon, exchange attributes, etc. It's been working great until we had a user call us that he couldn't get on our VPN. It seems whenever someone attempts to use the Reset Your Password feature their User Logon

Excute Program Action cannot excute batch
I defined Excute Program Action that is cmd program including several commands. When I tried to test by click excute button on list of action screen. It didn't reply and cmd.exe is shown running on Task Manager. I tested attached cmd file.(call 5 notepads) I found out only ONE notepad is started and when I close First notepad then another notepad is launched. How can I run this batch as Excute Action? I am writing some web pages to generates reports and graphs. I ran my query on the sql server and came back with 97 opened tickets so far this month. I then go to the help desk and create a custom view to show all tickets for the month of march. The helpdesk returns 48. I checked the workorderd from the first helpdesk ticket (15573) and the last (15674). If I query all requests between these two ids I get 97. If I create a custom view on the helpdesk and show all tickets within that range of id's

Customize the due date
I've read through the admin guide, and I can't any information on how SD+ calculates the due date. I know it's somehow a combination of priority level, applicable SLA, operating hours, holidays, etc., but there's no specific information on how those factors actually affect the due date. We need to be able to have requesters manually set a due date when they submit a help request, and perhaps even have a default due date (like one week from the creation date) if no due date is selected. Firewall Analyzer is not collecting and showing traffic data
I'm currently testing the Firewall Analyzer 5 with evaluate version running firewall log collection for Cisco ASA for among 8 days until today. The syslog files are all collected except the traffic data, it says data is available on 3 sep and tell me to adjust the calendar. (only day 1-3 have the data, and loss from day 4 to 8) please provide me some advices.
ASA 5520 stops showinf Data after three or four days
I have installed Firewall Analyzer on alternative port listener 1514 UDP. The first days evrything works great, i can see all data flowing. Three days later, the Data stops showing for some reason. I thought maybe changes happened on the ASA, but i realized nothing had changed. So i unistalled Firewall Analyzer, re installed, everything started working again. Three or four days later, again the traffic stops showing Data and getting NO DATA AVAILABLE. Suggestions? Thank you, Zeek

Hi I'm currently evaluating your product and have a number of cisco ASA's logging, I find the product very good on the whole. but 1 thing I need for compliance is the ability to report the start and end time, or the start time and duration of VPN sessions. I cant seem to find this information in any of the reports. Is this something I'm missing somewhere or is this something the firewall analyzer can't report Thanks In Advance Jeff
Cannot Change Due Date
It appears that standard users cannot change the due date manually after ther request has been entered. Only administrators seem to be able to edit that field through the Edit Request function. Is this intentional or a bug? It is desirable that the due data can be adjusted after a request has been opened.
