I've searched the ServiceDesk Plus forums, and have seen lots of requests for MAPI support as we, like others, have been told POP3 and IMAP simply are not supported due to our company's global policies.
Has an add-on/plug-in been released for ServiceDesk which allows it to connect to change as a MAPI client? I noticed one forum post mentioned late 2007 or early 2008 for this inclusion.
