SQL Server migration to SQL Server when using partitions
Does SwissSQL handle data/schema migration from one SQL Server to another when the number of paritions from one DB to the other is not the same? (What if physical partitions are different? What if logical paritions are the same or different?) Some times the logical partitions are the same but the physical partitions are not. Will this tool be able to handle that variations in partitions (such as by rehashing and rebucketing the data?) Thanks.

Can not see images in tickets
Since we upgraded to version 7.5, build 7507, we can't see any images that people embed into the email they send us that generates a ticket. Also if they images in their email signatures, we can't see them either. If we right click and show picture, nothing happens. Can anyone tell me how to fix this. I have been through the Admin and can't find anything relevant. Thanks Narelle

On two seperate computers I can log on to servicedesk web page. On a third it says page not found. The url is correct. What does the browser need in order for it to work (java, cookies, flash...) Thanks

Hello, Can someone please let me know the difference between the <device_name>_for_archive folder and the <device_name> folder? these are found in the directory where I am storing the archives for Event Log Analyzer. The reason I ask is we want to keep 6 months of archives, but evening with nearly 2 TB of dedicated disk space to this, we can only get about 4-5 months. Server Asset - more than one department
Hi, Is there a way to associate a Server asset with more than one site/department? What I am finding is that when a department is associated with a Server that the previous association is removed. Steps I am taking: Relationships tab Add Relationship > Useage Relationship Assign User and/or Department Choose User: No, just select department Choose department save Example: Email server is used by 2 different sites or department. Implementing Queues
Hello dear forumists, I am trying to implement diffrent queues for diffrent teams in ServiceDesk Plus 7.5.0. Here is my idea: -we are 2 teams: Network Team and Helpdesk Team. -we want to change ServiceDesk so that Helpdesk Team will be able to see ONLY requests which are concerning helpdesk issues AND Network Team ONLY requests concerning network team memebers -we DO NOT want each team to see the other team's requests. So, basically we want to split requests in 2 big queues, one queue for Helpdesk

OpUtil 5 install issues
Hello, Ive installed OpUtils5 on a linux box and am having issues trying to connect to the webserver instance. I accepted the default install port (7080), yet when I browse to http://ipaddress:7080 i get nada. (I did run the start script in OpUtils bin directory) A process table doesn't show anything that looks related to OpUtil. Not sure where to head from here. Suggestions?

Numbers instead of group names
After update from 7506 to 7514, group names are not presented. Instead there are numbers. When I want to change group, names are presented ok, but after changing in the request the group name is again presented as a number.

Hi, It would be useful to have a view of the traffic graphs like in MRTG where all the graphs are shown on one page, two columns (customizable) because then its very easy to correlate the peaks on different servers with for example the peak on the Internet port.

Changing Backup Filename
Using the backupdata.bat script creates a backup in the backups directory with a filename that has the full date stamp. I only want to keep a rolling 7 day backup in my archive so would prefer that the filename of the backup simply contained the day of the week (eg support_center_backup_7013_mon for example). SNMP Trap Processor using a MIB
Dear people, Im tryen to add a SNMP Trap Processor using a MIB from HP. I would like to add the following mib: cpqcr.mib from the upd830Bmib.zip (HP MIBS) file. But when i add it i get the following error: IMPORTS failed: Could not open file C:/PROGRA~1/ADVENT~1/ME/OPMANA~1/./mibs/CPQHOST-MIB I copied all the mib to the mib folder. Anybody?

unable to enumerate organisational units

Is it possible to stop SDP from creating new requesters?
We have our SDP hooked up to AD and use it purely as a Helpdesk Management Tool. The Self service Portal is unused. Everyting works fine more or less. We're a school and we only want our Teachers to be listed in the Requesters. Importing them is fine, we asset them assets and when they need help they email ICTSupport which is picked up by the Helpdesk and we can see all their details. The problem is the Students.
