Technician's Request View - Default?

Technician's Request View - Default?

I created a custom view for a Technician that shows all requests that are not closed.

When he logs in every day, the default view is "Open Requests" when he clicks on Requests for the first time. I would like it to default to the new view I created.

Is there a way to have this be the default view when he logs in for the first time clicks on Requests?
