Restore Issue - 7611
Good morning, I'm attempting to restore a database file from our live SDP server to a DR SDP install. The Live server is running a SQL 2008 database, while the DR site is using MYSQL. Software Deployement
When You create a configuration with applications added to it. If after installation you remove one of the installed apps, will they get redeployed? If not is there an option to have the agent check if he misses an application and if so redeploy it? Thank you

Hi, I use ServiceDesk Plus 7.6.0 and I want to customize the login page.... I only want a form with the essentials to login, I already tried many ways, like copying old versions html but it always goes wrong. I change in xml and it points to right page but it never logins correctly, sometimes it even start to loop in login page. Can you give me the right html code of the form please? Maybe it is a dumb question but I really cant do it. Thanks in advance.
When can we expect a Unified agent - Auto select distribution servers?
Are there any plans to build a smart unified agent that will aromatically select the closest distribution server? as the current distribution frameworks is really useless unless you only support desktop computers? EPO does this currently and it works fantastic, you only need to install one agent and it selects where to get its updates from depending on what subnet you are on / Ping times.. etc.... I would assume that the majority of companies using Desktop Central have a large laptop workforce
remove bad snmp data
i have an snmp monitor that typically reports 0-40 units. when the device rebooted in reported a HUGE number that is throwing off the historical to graphs considerably. i would like to remove that large number so opmanager has accurate historical reporting. screen shot is below to help illustrate the issue. thank you for your time.

Is it possible to get all requests assigned to me via the API? ex: operation=getRequests&user=jorn returns a list of all requests If not, is this something that will come in near future?
Windows Service Monitors Availability
I have encountered a problem with our reporting on Windows Service Monitors. I have loaded the hotfix 8721 hoping that it will fix the problem but the problem is still there. I need this report for my monthly reports which is creating a lot of problems and taking a day to give the report through. It happens when you do a report for all devices on a last month period and exporting it to XLS or PDF (Please see attachment). The report shows fine when you run it but as soon as you export it the Columns

There should be a possibility to create you whole own notification rules. For example you have 10 diffrent groups that all should get diffrent Emails for diffrent Requests and Problems. So group A ist just doing Router stuff, group B just VoIP stuff and so on. Well with the actual possibility of the notification rule system it is not possible to do so. Queue System implementation
There should be a queue system in Servicedesk Plus and Service Desk Plus MSP. For exmaple you have 5 or more diffrent departments in you company and each department works on diffrent Problems or requests etc, then it would be very usefull, that you have tohe possiblity to send the ticket in the queue of the diffrent departments. If you see it this way: Department A works just on Routers, Department B works just with VoIP and so an, then those departments should not be albe to see, what is going on

When a request is created, an email is sent to the person creating the request. e.g. http://helpdesk/WorkOrder.do?woMode=viewWO&woID=1000 A second request is later created with a link of: http://helpdesk/WorkOrder.do?woMode=viewWO&woID=1500 These two requests are merged. Both these links above should link to the Merged request (ID 1000) However, the second link does not work as the request no longer exists. My request is that the software allows both these links to open the merged job.
Problem Start Fetching Mail
Since upgrading to build 7611, the system is no longer fetching mail, after re-starting the service it stil will not fetch mail and the service stopped. Does anyone have any suggestions, thanks.
Help with MIB's
I am having trouble understanding MIBs. I have a Liebert UPS that we are trying to monitor. SNMP is working properly, but none of the monitor respond to test and none of the dials work properly. I have uploaded all of the MIBs that I got from Liebert in the order that they specified and I still get nothing. Any ideas?
Event Log Alerts - Email Only??
Hi I wonder if you can assist? Currently configured is a number of Event Log rules that will capture security events such as account lockouts, accounts deleted etc. Each time these are spotted on a server they appear as an alarm in the alarms page, as well as email an address due to a configured notification profile. What i would like to be able to do is to continue to spot these events, for this to then trigger an email alert but not show up under the alarms section. We have suffered with conficker

Remote control firewall
I am receiving an error that "firewall is enabled" when trying to remote control into some of our computers. When I turn off Windows Firewall, it works. Inventory scanning and configurations work fine. What ports/files need to be opened on the client side? Also- what agent is best for managing laptops in a VPN environment. We are not going to connect to them unless they have a inside address.
Pre-install script does not work
Trying to install MS Office 2010, using a pre-install sript to determine if it is already installed. Using script from MS which is for group policy deployment. It returns an %errorlevel% = 0 if it is installed and =1 if not. I set the pre-install script settings to continue install when a 1 is returned. This does not work, the install starts either way. I have modified the script to reverse the %errorlevel% returns as 0 is not installed and 1 is installed, and modified the settings for pre-install
Convert from SupportCenter to ServiceDesk

assigning contacts to contract expiry notifications
Hello, I am currently adding contracts to accounts and configuring notifications for contract expiry. When i do this i initially can only select Support reps, but i want to be also able to assign account managers, and contacts. then if i click on Edit, it gives me the option to add account managers and contacts. However when i do so and then save, the emails do not show up in the Notify To list. This seems like a bug to me?

Getting Really Annoyed With OpManager Distributed Edition
We use OpManager distributed edition as we have multiple remote sites but I am getting really sick of the problems we encounter... it is not very reliable and the lack of features and updates compared to the stand-alone edition is a real pain. Manageengine are supposed to be working on merging distributed edition into the same code as stand alone to allow both versions to release updates at the same time but the promises for this release keep slipping. Maybe it is time to look for an alternative

WMI Not working anymore
Hi all, We have been successfully using WMI queries for quite a while now, however the account that has been used to authenticate has been disabled as it was a security risk being a Domain Admin. We have setup a service account and configured the permissions for WMI and DCOM to allow access on each server for that specific service account. When I input the credentials into OpManager and configure the server to use the global settings, the test works and both snmp and wmi passed. However when i test

MIB Browser: the screen refreshes very slow or is 'dirty' due to no full refresh
