JavaService.exe Showing High CPU and Memory
I was running OpManager on a Dell server with quad Xeon 700Mhz with 2 GB of memory. When running on this server, the JavaService.exe always showed up in task manager as using an average of 50% to 80% CPU and the memory constantlly climbed. There were other applications running on this server, but not using hardly any CPU or memory. So, today I installed a freshly downloaded copy of OpManager 5.5 with the latest memory leak hotfix. I copied the OpManagerDB and conf directories from the old server to the new server. I started the OpManager service on the new server and the JavaService.exe is showing up in task manager as using an average of 50% to 80% CPU and the memory constantly climbing. The new server is a Dell dual Xeon 2.80Ghz with 3GB of memory. There are no other applications running on this new server, just OpManager. Why is JavaService.exe using so much CPU and memory? This causes the web client response time to be slow.
I am monitoring 215 servers, 4 routers, 40 switches, and 10 firewalls. I have currently unmanaged all 40 switches to see if there was a change, but the JavaService.exe is still using a lot of CPU and memory. Also, I have the monitoring interval for the servers set to 1 minute. But now it is 2:37 PM CST and the last poll of the servers was 1:40 PM CST. Please help. It is hard to use the application when it performs this way.
Thanks
