e-mail notification, when user account locked-out
Hallo, My problem is that we set a security policy in a windows environment. If the user failed logon for five times the user account will be locked out. A locked-out account cannot be used until is reset by an administrator. It is possible to get an e-mail notification, when this event happens?

Folder Monitor - multiple credentials
Hello, As a feature request, it would be great to have the equivalent of what you have done with URL monitors, but have it for Folder Monitors and allow you to use another credential to connect, similar to "Connect using a different user name" when mapping a drive in Windows. E.g., we currently monitor serverAShare under Device Snapshot, Monitors, Folder Monitors. It authenticates using the credentials I have set in the passwords list. eventlog monitor
When monitoring the eventlog with appmanager an occured event will stay on the alarm page until the next monitor poll. When setting the polling time to 1 minute it will mean that the alarm will only stay on the alarm page for one minute. This can lead to unseen alarms. Is it possible to change this behaviour and let the events on the alarm page until they are acknowlegded? TIA
do not see technicians associated with a site when creating technician groups
running version 8.0 build 8007 I have added 3 sites, associated technicians with each site. I now go to try and create technician groups in the sites but cannot as the field that shows techs associated with that site (and therefore available to add to the group) is blank. You cannot therefore create the group as this is a required field.
There's any log or report where i can find what a ad manager user did?

Custom CLI/Telnet monitor for a custom device template ?
Hi, I want to add a Telnet monitor to a custom device template I have created. When looking at the configuration needed in HostResource.xml I need to add the new custom category into the correct Poll ID. Since this is a custom device type do I have to create a new Poll ID? Requester's list view of request: cannot show "Reply" and "Notes" fields
It seems impossible to show the "Reply" and "Notes" fileds in the requester's view of requests. Am I right? I think it would be very important for a requester to immediately see that he has received a reply from a technician, for instance. Regards. FB.
Purchasing Windows Disappear
Within the purchasing area a window pops up when you try to change a purchase orders status (i.e. to invoice recieved) a window will appear and before you can type in it, it will disappear, or it will even after you have typed in it, but have not saved the changes. This is extremely frustrating because it requires multiple entry. This does this on every option that pops up a window in this section. Can you please fix this?

Netflow doesn't display proper data
Hi All, I have installed netflow analyser to monitor the traffic flow on our WAN link. This link terminates on cisco 6509 switch and have configured the switch to send netflow data. But the netflow analyser just shows snmp traffic. No information on other protocols. Any suggestions. Thanks, Kiran
CC emails not showing up in conversations
It seems like cc emails do not show up when expanding all conversations. Am I right? Also, I see that requesters have no opportunity to search the requester list (there is no "Search requester list" button), whilst that is possible for technicians. Am I right? SDP 8007 . Thank you.

RSS feeds for alarms
2-3 years ago, I offered a suggestion for RSS functionality in OpManager in the forums and the OpManager folks seemed to think this was a good idea. However, such functionality still doesn't exist. Do the OpManager folks ever plan to implement this? RSS feeds are handy for several things, including desktop widgets and integration into existing webpages. In our situation, we'd like to integrate an RSS feed of current alarms into our network services homepage so that end users can go to it and see

Dashboard requests overview
Hello, When we look at the dashboard to view our requests it seems a little strange. Every day (and week) the number of inbound request is way higher than the number of completed requests. Is this explainable in any way? What does define an inbound request and what is a completed request. At the moment we have 40 request open but when I look at the dashboard it says for this month: Week 1: Inbound: 368 Completed: 178 Week 2: Inbound: 165 Completed: 58 Can anyone explain how this is possible? I am deploying Desktop Central at my compagnie and I have the following problem. We have several desktop administrators that have the pc's of a department in their care and have full access to those pc's. If I let them use Desktop Central they will have access to all pc's. Is there a way to limit a user in Desktop Central to a group of pc's?
Compressd (zipped) Folders Error
Generated reports out of ADManager received through email (Exchange) in a zip folder will not open or extract in WIndows 7. Receive error "The comppressed (zipped) Folder 'path listed here' is invalid". Do not have any archive/zip products installed. We only use the native compression built into the OS. Researched hot fixes on Windows 7 and found no hits. Any ideas?

Trouble importing company logo
Hi, Currently using Op Manager build number 7502. We are wishing to rebrand our report headers with our own company logo. We have tried to import a comapny logo jpg via the "rebranding" section under "Admin". We select the logo and click import. Once this was do we restarted the Op Manager server/application. The report header logo will not change, still default Managed Engine. Is there a fault here or do we need to follow a different process? Regards Corie
