Script to import Ipgroups

Approvals suggestion/problem
Hello On a number of our services we require an approval to be provided by any one of a group of people. Once one of them ahs approved the request we are able top process it as normal. However, there is nothing that advises the other possible approvers that the approval has been granted. Suggest that, in the event a Service Request requires only 1 approval from a number of approvers, that a message be displayed on the approvals page or emailed to the other appriovers that approval has been granted

Assets with the same name
We have much assets that are different computers located in different towns but have the same name (such as server or manager) but have different MAC's Workgroup etc. When we try to mannualy import xml config files that we make with standalone audit script it is overwriten. What can we do besides of renamin all of this computers?

Is there a way to modify the thresholds for a monitor on the domain controllers (active directory) such as OS Processor Queue Length? We have a lot of domain controllers that go above the default value of 7 every day. I don't want to have to modify this at each domain controller...

Hello, I am having an issue with PMP Agent to Server communications, receiving the following error message in the pmpagent.log file when I start the service. Requesters cannot use lookup function in the "E-mail id(s) to Notify" field of a new request.
As a technician I can see and use the lookup function but users cannot see the lookup icon. Is this by design?

Hi I am using Netflow 9 and I am trying to disable the proxy settings with out any luck. When I try to remove the proxy host name and port I get an error message that those fields cannot be empty. is there a different way to disable the proxy? thanks Ramzi
SLA based on request submission time
We're currently building our SLAs and I'd like to create 2 for each response level, one that would be applied to tickets that are submitted during business hours and the other would be applied after hours. They would have different Response and Resolution Due By times. Is this possible?
Problems with incident visibility (Is technician a requester?)
I have problem with accessing certain requests by technicians (which also are requesters). Scenario: We have department DPT, with 10 employees. 3 of them have technicians accounts, 7 have requester accounts with possibility to access every request from same department (DPT). Technician accounts have visibility limited to "All in group & assigned to him[Requests only]" Employee with technician account have to supervise request made by any other DPT employee. Display server properties with SQL addon monitoring take a LOT OF TIME
Hi everybody, We bought (and are still in test phase) the SQL monitoring add-on. And since i put the dashboard SQL on every SQL servers we have, then discovered every SQL instance and every DB attached to every instance. Now the opmanager website is lagging and sometimes freezing when (trying) display the server page. My config : Virtual Server windows 2003 R2 x64, 4 vCPU, 8 Go RAM. I have less than 500 devices and less than 500 interfaces monitored. and in the top of that,... the opmanager production

Deploying Flash Player 10.3.181.14 on Firefox 4.0.1
Hello, I have 5 clients that have Firefox 4.0.1 installed on them. Last week Adobe released the new Flash Version 10.3.181.14. Those 5 machines were set to be patched from the old 10.2.159.1 version to the new 10.3.181.14 version over the past weekend. Well instead of being patched, DC said that the patches were not applicable to the target when n fact they were. My other 14 clients that are still running Firefox 3.6.17 all were able to be upgraded to the newest version of Flash Player. It appears

Hello, I have a java script which does bulk update in Ldap. The script runs perfectly ok for sometime but the execution of the script is interrupted in between due to lose of connection. Upgrade SCP from 7607 to 7801
Hi, I tried to upgrade my test server from build 7607 to 7801. I started off by doing an clean install of SCP 7607 then restored a backup of my live server. Then all went okay, then I upgraded to 7609 which also went good. But when I tried to upgrade to 7703 I got an error after which SCP would not start up anymore (not even with run.bat). How to add someone to the ADAdmin Role?
I know I've done this when we first implemented the product, but now i can't seem to get it done. I want to add another IT tech to the SDAdmin role. If I go through the 'Roles' section it just allows me to view members of customize the role's rights. If I go into the 'Technicians' section i can see a place under 'Select Permissions' to add the tech, but it wants a user name and password and won't proceed without it. I don't know his AD password! i don't want to know...what am I missing? Thanks

Unable to run password sync check successfully on Windows 7 PCs
We've had a number of Windows 7 PCs imported into PMP via the AD import. The local admin account is properly scanned and appears within the imported resource. We are not installing PMP agents on our Windows machines. We are able to run a successful password change operation from the console. Bug: Can't add custom WMI monitor if the name begins with % character
Hi i've noticed while trying to add a custom WMI monitor that begins with % it doesnt work. After clicking ok the page briefly displays "Error" and then goes back to the server, no monitor added.
