We have unique situation in which our Business Analysts use SDPLUS to work with tickets we assign. Right now my reply to template incorporates a few lines with info on how to contact our Help desk. I already have the $technician parameter in there which fills in the name. Servlet API not pulling out category..
Hi, I have my own form I am making in SDP with the Servlet API SDP provides. All of my form fields work properly and get created into the ticket EXCEPT the Service Category whose parameter in Servlet API is "category" I cannot figure out why the automated process is not working for category perhaps this is a bug on your end as my code is the same for all fields and seems to work just fine with other fields except the "category" parameter. Hello there, Did today the upgrade from 7.5 to 7.6 (enterprise edition). All goes well in upgrade process. Mandatory field (Group) on Incident form not being retained when entered
When creating a new incident request and the Group field (which is mandatory) is completed, when the Add Request button is pressed, it displays 'Group cannot be empty. Please enter the required fields'. The second time it's entered, there's no problem - could you advise please? Thanks

Good Day , Thank for this product it surely fills a gap in the support of databases. However my biggest problem is that I cannot uninstall it . It looks for Directories that don't exist . You cannot even uninstall it witht he Windows unistall utlities . Do you have any fix for this problem ?
Combine 2 applications manager to 1
Hi there, At the moment we have 2 different applications manager installations on 2 different servers. Both installation do have a lot of monitors. The idea is to combine those 2 installations to 1 and we want to migrate the monitors of installation 1 to installation 2. Is there a simple way to do this by exporting/importing the monitors? Can we extract the data from the mysql-database, so we can do a sql-import? Otherwise we have to create all monitors from installation 1 by hand on installation
Application deploy fails
Hi, When we try to install an application, for example Adobe Reader 9, if there is installed Adobe Reader X oin the destination computer, Desktop central warns that it's retrying the operation all the time and it doesn't install the requested program. I mean that if you try to install a program that is lower version than the other installed, the message is that is retrying and it warns an error with 12010 code. I hope you can help us! Regards!
How to minotor status of the OPManager Server itself.
Over the weekend i just notice there were power failure happen few times because of building maintenance. So my boss need to know the status/info of the OPMAnager itself, like at what time the server down, or healthiness of the OPManager Server. I suppose it should have by default or i just cant find it. Issue with OpManager Syslog server
Hello, I'm currently evaluating OpManager to determine if it is the right product for our company. I have added devices for monitoring, however I discovered there is an issue with the syslog server. It reads as follows in the OpManager console : "SyslogServer Failed to start due to Address already in use: bind for the port 514. Click here to change the port." Any help would be much appreciated.

I do not understand why this integration is so difficult! My idea is this: Have a new button to export a report to an Quickbooks IIF file format. Admin page to map the corresponding fields in manageengine to the corresponding fields in the IIF file. Add a field to each record which has a yes/no value for billed. Device not reachable V8
After installing V8, I get the message that the Device is not reachable. I had no problems like this in V7. I have ran discover and it does not find my router. I can see the MIBs for the host from V8. I thought it might have been a machine problem, so I reformatted my server and we still have this issue.

Crashed WebLogic server causes AppManager checks to get blocked

The application which was deployed in one of these WebLogic managed servers got stuck in a deadlock (application issue) and other managed servers which were part of the same WebLogic cluster also crashed due to this (with out of memory errors). I am trying to add a Linux server into PMP 6303, when I click Supply Credentials for remote synchronization I get an error message "Atleast {0} user accounts required for Linux remote sync" I seem to recall there is something in PMP you have to do to fix this but cannot remember what it is. Transfer Servicedesk test environment to production
Question: I am working in a test instance of Servicedesk, testing a reimplementation of our entire global Servicedesk structure. I'd like your thoughts on the best way to approach switching the new implementation to live production instance. Do Distribution Servers copy Network Share package for distribution at remote sites?
I am curious if the distribution servers would copy something like MS Office to itself for distribution to the remote clients? I would not want the remote cielnts trying to install the software from Main DC Server. If not... Only solution I see is setting up a Sofftware Library at each remote site and creating seperate packages for the same install, but with thier network paths for each remote site using the remote software library. WmiPrvSE high CPU usage after agent install
I've rolled out the Manageengine Desktop Agent (v7.2.30) to several clients now, and each one of them is experiencing high CPU usage for the process WmiPrvSE.exe after the first restart. They are all Windows 7 Pro clients, and the 32-bit versions are getting CPU usage in the range 50%+, while my 64-bit client is experiencing constant 5%+ usage. Hi, We are useing Servicedesk Plus (7.6.0 Build 7611) from fast one year. Till now was working fine. Now we have issue in notification rule. We have enabled send email notifification (to selected technician)when new request is created. This is working for some time and some time not. Most of our staff are remote and require VPN connectivity to access our network, and that is how they change their password today and reset it. I am looking for a solution that would allow remote employees to be able to reset their passwords without being on our network. Some fields/columns are not available to show in Request list
Hi Some fields are not appearing in the Column list when choosing to adjust the Request list. They are available to select for Technicians but not for Requestors. If I open an individual Request, the field is available to view in the Request form. However, I cannot select it to show it on the filtered view list of Requests. Thanks

Hi I have setup one linux box that sens flow statistic via IPFIX (vermont) to ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer 9. But unfortunately I did not get any information about IPFIX device on dashboard or anywhere on panel.
