Hello guys,

I've got a nice idea for SDP. At this point we are able to set at which department or GB-code an invoice must be made or both. What would be a very nice addition (te complement), is that we can actually put in a budget on the GB-code, or on the Department-code (it's kostenplaats called in Dutch), and that we can keep track of the remaining budget.

In my (and many other cases), there are yearly budgets to follow and to keep track off. It would be nice to see if we could keep track of this inside SDP.

So basically:

If i get my budget for 2012, i make a new GB-code or department-code, put in the given budget. If i create a new order, and place it onto a certain GB-code, it let's me see what budget is remaining in relation to completed orders (for that year). After a few years, i am able to 'archive' (not delete) a certain GB-code or department-code, so that after a few years, i do not get a list that is 150 items long.

I think the department-code will need to be used, as it keeps track of department and owner already and not the GB-code if that would be implemented, no?
