Real Time ticket queue

I want to be able to let me users see the entire helpdesk queue - so that they can see their position in the queue.

That is their biggest lament. They make the heldpesk request, but then they have no idea when things will happen.

So I want to be able to post the realtime queue to one of our internal web servers so they can do a quick check of where they are.

Our IT shop is small for the amount of users we support (1 helpdesk IT for 200 in-house people)

Has anyone else done/created/ though of something like this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
