Question about mail fetching limitation
Dear Support, My customer has been facing the problem regarding mail fetching feature. The system will stop when it received a huge mail from mail server. I need your help to provide the information about below. mail sizing for 1 email what is your recommendation about mail sizing. example is an email should not over 5Mb for 1 email timeout value for SDP what is timeout value for SDP? example is SDP has set 5 minutes for timeout. SDP will stop fetching feature when the sync time has more than 5
Add new map image for business views
Hi I have been through this forum and understand that any new maps need to be .png or .jpg and all names need to be in lowercase. I also understand they need to be in ManageEngine\OpManager\images\maps. I have done this yet when I go into properties of existing business views, I still cannot see the map image. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Backup build number not compatible with existing build
Hi, Our server died and the last backup we had is of build number 8003. I have upgraded the new server to build 8000 but cannot find a dowload for 8003. Where can i find this as i am unable to restore from my backup until I upgrade my current version. Unless the i can upgrade to the latest and then restore? Please help I'm completely stuck!
Administrator account has no permissions
AFter we imported AD users and activated windows authentication, I tried logging back in as the local administrator and got the following error "You are not authorized to view this page" I have tried our domain administrator but it only logs in as a requester. This is a new installation, and I don't want to start over. Do we need to turn off windows auth on the back end to get back in as administrator and then set up the proper administrator account? Hi, I'm trying to set up mail fetching in SD+ 8 from a IMAPS server which has a SSL certificate signed by a private CA. Notification on reply from requestor.
Is it possible in the notification that is sent to the assigned tech when a requestor replies to a ticket to have the content of their reply in the notification? Currently the default notification is: $RequesterName has replied to request ID $RequestId. Quick link: $RequestLink I had a look at the available content variables but none of them seem to be able to accomplish this. Any ideas?

Remote Asset Explorer scan fine my domain without agent (WMI mode) and collect data from workstations, but not insert in SDP configured as "Central Server". Export process failed. Request Reports - Impact and Urgency missing
Just a quick one... Is there any reason why Impact and Urgency are not included in the list of Available Columns in a custom report? Again I would have assumed these fields would be included in the standard list. Could this be added as an 'enhancement' for inclusion in a future release? Looks like we are going to have to write our own SQL joining query on the Urgency table in the mean time, however the formatting doesn't allow us to, for example, create the matrix reports... :( Cheers, Lew
Open in for Job Sheets
Please enable the function Open In or the ability to open the job sheet as a PDF. When doing this on the IPAD is would be great to be able to open this as a PDF. I use PDF Expert which allows me to have people sign directly on the IPAD. The only option currently is to Print but printing from the Ipad is a complex process and requires a printer to be made available at all times which is not possible.

is there gonna be more focus on getting multiple browser to work properly with sdp ? I use firerfox 7.0.1 and there are some issues with sdp where fx I wanna close a ticket and I go into solutions and typre in the info select close and hit save. now it closes the ticket but, the info I typed in is not saved and when I go to the ticket the solution feild is blank. Customize Add Work Log Page
Is there any way to add more info on the Add Work Log Page? Currently the Subject and Request ID are shown at the top of the page. I'd like to add the Requester's Details such as Name, phone number, email address etc. This stuff is already in the ticket so it should be easy to add, but I don't see how we can add it via our Admin console.
Only users OU showing when fetching OUs from Active Directory
Hi Really struggling to get our users to import from Active Directory again. I've had it working and importing fine, but now when I do a scan for the OUs to import from I only get the users OU (even after clicking on fetch OUs again). It has previously worked ok. I don't know if changing to a 2008r2 functional level for the domain (so only 2008r2 DCs) is causing an issue. Hello! I downladed trial version of NetFlow Analyzer 8.6.8600 for test purpose. I activate NBAR on Tunnel interface my Cisco router ((C3845-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(22)T). I configure custom NBAR protocols on my Cisco Router by followed commands: ip nbar custom cifs tcp 445 ip nbar custom rdp tcp 3389 ip nbar custom kaspersky tcp 13000 When i use command show ip nbar protocol-discovery on my Cisco Router i see statistics for this protocol, but in NetFlow Analyzer 8.6.8600 i see this traffic

Emails disappearing.
All of a sudden our Manage Engine install is not displaying any new emails. I can see from our mail server that it has logged in and retrieved the message. But it is not being displayed or reported in the interface. Any idea what may cause this?

I am trying to add Exchange monitoring to one of my exchange boxes. Once i select the exchange version (2010) it is asking for Public and Mailbox store locations. Does it want the path in drive format for that server. so e:\Exchange\ect.....? Also, How do i go back and add more mailbox stores if i just did 1 as a test?

Interface tab with no data
Hi. I just added a Catalyst switch with snmp v.3 configured. The cpu and memory monitors were set ok. But there's no interface at interface tab. I tried to rediscover them, but nothing happens. At Actions / Configure Ports menu, i see the interface list. All of them is there. But still nothing at interface tab. I went to the MIB browser and tried to get the information. It was list with sucess. Any help? I got 10 more switches to add, but i'll only do that if i can monitor all the interfaces. Thanks.

Why the lack of a Desktop Central Knowledge Base?
After working with the product, having several support calls, and many visits to these forms, I am still suprised that the Desktop Central Product does not have its own entry in the ManageEngine Knowledge Base. Can this be resolved (and all the juicy fixes, workarounds and articles be added to it?
Netflow Plugin No Longer Recognizes License
Since upgrading the netflow plugin from 8500 to 9000, it no longer recognizes our license and restricts us down to monitoring the default 2 interfaces.
How to move database
Somehow I managed to install ADAudit plus MYSQL database on the C drive and it's low on space. I need to move it to the another drive and I was wondering if this is possible or if I have to remove and reinstall the product etc. thanks Peter
