We had a drive full issue and now Firewall analyzer fails to start with the error unable to create database. Need Reccomendation on remdediation to fix this. Thanks.

Hi support team, We use SNMP to monitor servers and we have several questions: 1.As we understand, when adding Process Monitor, Opmanager will query HOST-RESOURCE-MIB to determine process list. Some manufactures provide specific Mib for servers information (aix, Hp-ux, ...), and those MIBs contain such kind of information (CPU, Mem, Disk, Process...). Can we customize OpManager so it will querry those MIBs for listing resource? 2. We did add customized disk monitoring as in http://support.opmanager.com/sd/AddSolution.sd?solID=35701

Hi I use the OpManager Build 9000 and I have an error if I try to edit a existing business view! The edit mode don't open. If I create a new one, I can do it without any problems. Can someone help me?
Device Details Password - how to set for all/template devices?
Hi all, I have a question regarding the Password option under a servers 'Device Details' section. When I choose a server I can then click this option, and choose my SNMP under 'Use this Snmp Credential', I have 100+ servers that need this setting, how do I do this on a group basis? It's not under the deviec template. Bit of an OPManager novice, just getting it all set up so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How does one go about monitoring the Cisco switch stack/chassis using opmanager? I downloaded the MIBS and placed in the appropriate directory but not sure how to look for specific things related to the chassis. Any insight would be appreciated.
Use of wildcards in bulk modification
Is it possible to use wildcards in the replace profile path, under admgmt -->bulk user modification -profile attributes? I am moving all profile paths from the current \\"servername"\Profiles\"username" to \\servername2\Profiles\"username". the tool will replace all the paths with the new setting en mass, however, I need to append the "username" to be the actual username, it is not the same for all users obviously. thanks, Matt
Monitoring blackout periods
Is it possible to set a blackout period where the alert will pause from its monitoring schedule? This would be helpful for scheduled restarts that some applications may require or need. It would avoid uneeded alerts of "down/up server(ices).
Select Asset Form View when logging Request/Incident
Whenever linking an Asset to a Request/Incident and the Select Asset form opens this diplays the Product Type aswell as the Asset Name. Delivery of the Product Type would assist users when logging Requests/Incidents as they would be able to identify the types of Asset that are to be linked to the ticket. When the dropdown window is selected instead of selecting the [ + ] radio button the Asset Name displays the Product Type beside the Asset Name.
Interface limit incorrect in Opmanager Essential build 9000
I get this error message: "Your current installation has 12538 Interfaces. A single installation can handle only up to 10000 Inetrfaces. Please try the Enterprise Edition" Isn't the interface limit 50.000? Best Regards Daniel

Recently I attached a 2TB USB hard disk to one of the PC, and it will be always ON. After I run scan on that PC. I cannot find the attacched USB disk information under the PC's inverntory on Hardware tab. I wonder, is the current build 70246 support to display attached USB hard disk?

Hi, I updated to build 4134 last week and I'm starting to see a build up of files in the ev_temp folder again, and we are not receiving some of our reports via email. One report did work but didn't show logins for half of the day. Any ideas or is there another update? Thanks Jeff
[ERROR] InstallEXEFile : Failed to set the CurrentDirectory
Hello, I am getting an error when trying to deploy software from a network share. The share has the "Everyone" permission, so the agents can Read, Execute and list files in the directory/share. I have also verified (using Start->Run) that the command line arguments I entered in to the Configuration can be successfully executed from a machine running the desktop central agent. What have I missed? The error occurs when the agent attempts to ChangeDirectory, this error causes the installation to fail.
Server in Inventory and SOM as failed install of agent
I am showing multiple servers that have successfully installed the DC Agent, and are showing in the inventory and seem to be working properly, but at the same time, they show under the scope of management under the Installation Failed. If I remove them from the Installation Failed list, they are removed from the Inventory and I have not been able to add them back in (even after reinstallation of the DC Agent). HTTP URL Monitor - Mangled or Incorrectly formatted response
Hi, I'm getting this error with a URL monitor, I can open a browser and browse this page with no issues. I'm guessing it's something to do with the SSL certificate. How can I troubleshoot this ? I'm having trouble making the Remote Control function of the SDP. I'm using version 8.0.0 build 8015. Some of my technicals do not have administrator permissions on the machine and these, when they try to control a machine, the request appears to the remote host but after after acceptance nothing appears on the technical. ORA-28000: the account is locked
I'm using ManageEngine Application Manager 10 build 10100, whenever I try to connect to my Oracle Database 10 I'm facing ORA-28000: the account is locked message. Weird part is it works fine on my Oracle Database 7.3.4. I'm pretty sure my Oracle 10 system account did not locked, as on another monitor tool Quest Sportlight running fine to capture Oracle 10 status. Any idea/solution on Application Manager? Thanks.
Resource area of Template
Is there a way to make the questions in the resource section of a template mandatory fields? I think this area is a great feature, but without being able to make the fields mandatory it's possible for a request to be submitted without pertinent information. One major purpose of templates is to save time - if data is missing and technicians have to spend time calling to get questions answered, it makes the template almost useless. Sheila

Resolution templates
Hi Support, Does a resolution template change the request status? Can it only fill in the resolution field on a request? If it can't close the request and set additional fields, can someone tell me why I would ever want to use one? I use incident templates to close requests with a common resolution - if the resolution is the same, then it sets the category/subcategory/request type/impact/urgency, etc and sets the request as closed. MSP Center Plus DATE Format
Hello, The date format for all date values in SDP-MSP are in European format (DAY-MONTH-YEAR). We need to be able to change the date format to American format (MONTH-DAY-YEAR) for our American customers. They are confused by the European date format (you know how Americans are!) Incident Template used to be called Request Template?
Am I going mad? Didn't the Incident Template used to be called a Request Template? What was the reasoning behind the naming change? Is there some logic behind this as at the moment it's kind of confusing: the terms 'Incident' and 'Request' should mean two different things in ITIL terms yet seem interchangeable in Servicedesk. Cross Forest Group Members
Currenty we have 3 Forests with trusts between them. If I add members of Forest B into a group on Forest A (domain local group) and then the next day run a report against Forest A group (after syncronization) only the local Domain members are listed in the group (ie, the group membership reports do not report any users outside of Forest A) I've been unable to find a way for AD Manager to report on these group members (we are licensed for the 3 Forests)
