how to manual insert smtp configuration into mysql db
Hi, Does anyone have any experience to insert the smtp configuration into MySQL db manually instead of doing it from the AppManager admin interface? The reason I need to take this route is because the smtpTest.bat gets the connection refused, but we have .net application is able to send the email from the same server via the same smtp server. Basically the smtp server is able to relay the email from this server. The only issue here is we can't configure the smtp server from the AppManager interface.

Hi, I Configured NetFlow on RedHat , and my router is Cisco Asr1004 I Think it work good but !!! In the user guide pdf they didn't mention that asr1004 is supported is it ? And i configured only one interface in the router with the "ip route-cache flow" And the NetFlow seeing 5 interfaces ( i want only one ) Please send me that Cisco configuration. Best regards Rafi

How can we bulk update details on Resources ? - We will be rolling out the agent shortly and we have discovered that when the agent auto includes itself that areas of the Resource and User account details need to be updated.. I need two reports One report that shows me the non-closed service requests that are NOT linked with a Change (sorted by Service-ID) One report that shows me the non-closed service requests that ARE linked with a Change (sorted by Change-ID) I was able to create the basic reports, but i couldn't figure out how the Changes were linked in. OpManager failing on ssl login
Hi, has anybody encountered issues with HTTPS logins to OpManager after upgrading to build 9200? We recently upgrade our install of OpManager to build 9200. OpManager continued functioning as normal. it was accessible when browsed to via HTTPS, it continued to collect SNMP information and email alerts. However, our install of OpManager while still accessible via HTTPs is now refusing login requests for the admin and operator accounts. It also stopped sending email alerts as of last Wednesday. I
Time Issue
The time on our ServiceDesk Plus system is four hours off. The time on the server is correct, and the time zone settings are also correct. Any ideas?
NetFlow start problem
Hi I just install ManageEngine_NetFlowAnalyzer_9600.bin on centos 6.2 The install success but when start the service with the ./run.sh I get this error First time service startup takes longer time than usual Server is starting. flow rate sampling
Dear Support, Currently we are using netflow analyzer 9.5 build 9500, and observed that once manually set a flow rate by "edit interface parameters" for one interface, other interfaces of the node will also use this value. if that, the traffic volume will be incorrect because we are using full flow for some interface and other using sampling. pls kindly advise, thanks. Hi Since upgrading to 7.6.0 my default values for additional fields doesn't work when I create request via email. But it does work when I create request via web. is it new bug? I remeber It was normal in older version.
Ghost Technician
I've deleted a technician a while ago, but the "Tehcnician auto Assigs" still keeps on assigning tasks to th e account. I can't find the account in either the Requester nor the Tehcnician part af the Admin section. It's not possible to assign a tast manually to this account, only by Auto Assigns, and the account can't be exluded from the auto assigns, since it's not listed .... I guess it's a ghost record in the sql-database, but how can I delete it ? Any idea ?

I have some people that have not been with our company for a long time and they created some custom reports. I am trying to clean up the reports and folders, but I am unable to delete them. I am signed in with an admin account. Is there any way to delete these?

I have an issue where one of my requesters is in the system twice. I have some tickets under their original requester name. Then they emailed the helpdesk and their email address was not entered under their requester profile so it created a another requester with the same exact name. Then I have scheduled this report, but the zip file is too large (more than 50 MB), and I can't send it by mail. I'd like to exclude the Message column from the details of the report to reduce it. I tried to find when and why Query Reports creating become unavailable to technicians in ServiceDesk Plus (now only Administrators can create query reports) but no such luck. Work logs are not being counted as time spent
Several of my tickets are coming back with Time Spent 0:00 when there is a work log of 1 hour. Several of these have this. How do I set work logs and a report that has Time spent to read the same thing. Or do I need to use a different field? John
