Separate databases with any group ?

Example, I have 3 groups: - Domain Controller: 3 servers - File Servers: 3 servers - Backup: 2 servers And I want to save log in: - Group "Domain Controller": 3 years - Group "File Servers": 2 years - Group "Backup": 1 year. 64 bit Java Tuning
I'm performing a new install of EventLog Analyzer 7.2 on Windows 2008 R2 64 bit. The system has 8 GB of RAM. Looking at the tuning guide, it indicates I should change the wrapper.conf entries for "wrapper.java.initmemory=128" and "wrapper.java.maxmemory=512" to 512 and 1024 respectively. However, in looking at my wrapper.conf file these entries are different than shown in the tuning guide. My wrapper.conf file has values of 256 and 1024 respectively with no changes. When looking at traffic reports, it would be very useful to have the ability to view by custom-defined hostname groups. For example, traffic to/from Akamai goes against a number of different servers, such as "a60-254-131-154.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com", "a60-254-131-178.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com", "a60-254-131-169.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com". I use the Dashboard to get a quick view of important sites. I'd like to offer that feature to guest users, but the dashboard for Interfaces is not available for guests. Management would like to be able to see a quick circuit utilization by site, but I can't offer that without giving admin privileges.

few days ago, i downloaded two versions of this product: netflow analyzer 7 and netflow analyzer 9, trial versions. after i see and compare versions, i found a little difference - in 9-th version i found option "bulk load dns names" from *.csv file. it's necessary function for me. But in 7-th version i didn't find this function and didn't find any similar function for the load user defined DNS names from the file. For some reasons, i can't buy and use netflow analyzer 9, and i can use just 7-th version.

Description is missing in request view
Hi everyone, We've updated to the 8109 release, and some of our technicians experiencing issues in viewing requests. When they open request, sometimes (but often) they can view only the part of the request description. And the other part is missing. Only admins from branch offices report this problem (they have WAN access to the site - from 2 to 40 mbit/s). Clearing the Internet Explorer cache helps them, but not for a long time. Please help me to solve it. Thanks in advance.

Manage Engine agent on windows servers
Has anyone had any issues with manage engine's agent running and installing patches on windows servers (exchange, domain controller, etc)? We currently use Manage Engine agent for patching our desktops but are a little hesitant to install it on servers. Not sure if it is better to install patches on servers by hand or let the agent do it. Also when pushing out a new agent on upgrades I would hate for the agent install to cause the server to crash. Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful. Thank

Need to Add PO Box to All Users Report
We're running ADManager Plus 5.2.0, build 5231, and I'm logged in as a domain admin and a newbie ADMP user. We use the PO Box field for a different purpose, so I need to add it to the All Users report. PO Box is not included in the available fields - nor is Web Page (which would help as well). How do I add these fields to the report? TIA for your assistance!

OpManager Netflow Plugin Interface names
On my ASA I initially did not have the SNMP community set correctly (within the netflow plugin), however now that I have corrected it the Netflow plugin will not correct the interface names (all index#). Any tips on how to correct this? Also I was playing around with the default community string setting for the netflow plugin and found that it always defaults to interface description, if I try and change it to name or alias the setting is not remembered.

Hey guys, You know what would be cool? That i could add in a picture of an asset (PC, server, printer ...) or non-IT asset (projector, ...). That could be a URL to a existing picture online (of a printer for example), or to upload a picture i took myself of an asset. Adding in multiple pictures would be nice to. It could be especially usefull in situations in which a lot of network equipment is involved. A picture says a thousand words, not the least in the case of routers/switches/firewalls/patch

clear alarm to reflect the real picture of the production
Hi I have cleared all critical alarms for one device directly in the database using SQL script. replacing the value non equal to 5 in the severity field with value 5. In the alarm page in my console, it's well synchronized with my database so all alarm are cleared for that device. But in the snapshot page of the same device in my console, still have a red X indicating that still there alarms for this device. How can I fix this issue ? I mean, if I clear all alarms for a device, in the snapshot

I am looking to do some integration work with the database and the version we have looks to be the one that came bundled with the MSP package - 4.1.18 -pro-nt. Operational Hours Group
Would it be possible to suggest being able to set operational hours on a group? I have techs that are in multiple sites that have different hours for each site. The problem I am having is that with the techs being in multiple sites and only working specified hours, some tickets will come in and the SLA will be violated. So I am just wondering if operational hours could be set on the Group level so that I can setup SLA's based on that instead of at the Site level.
