OpManager is running on below server ; Physical Server Properties ; - In addition to OpManager ; Eset nod32, SMS application (runs as windows service ), a couple of .net applications (office programs..), IIS 7.0 runs on the server. - Hp Proliant DL160 G6, Xeon E5504 2.00 GHz 4 Core CPU, 8 GB memory. - Database is on different SQL 2008 server. - 11 Server, 2 Storage, 2 Firewall and 2 Switch totally 17 device is being monitored at opmanager. Unable to login to local login
Administrator account is only local and the local login is disabled. How do you re-enable the local login?
mysqld-nt.exe has stopped working
After I install ADManger Plus, it works properly the first time I use it, but the second time I open the program I get "mysqld-nt.exe" has stopped working. Based on other posts, this is due to a corrupted database. Is there a known fix for this issue yet? I am running Windows 7 64bit SP1. Thanks
what is the correct format for the csv file? after import it shows one user with over 1000 entries
not sure how is the format for the csv and also when i import the file it shows the same user over 1000 times. we created a formula in excel for the first user and then expand it to all of them. somehow ad manager shows only the first user over a thousand times. any clues? my format is: given name, last name, pwdlast set, display name, user logon name
Setup helpdesk techs
Hi We have just purchased AD manager licences for 10 users. Will the helpdesk users have to be Domain admins to be able to perform password resets etc?. Ideally we want to take away there domain admin rights and have them as domain users. Will I have to give the Helpdesk group Delegation control on our AD structure? Which would defeat the object as they could still access AD via MMC. Thanks Richard

Is There a Preferred Order to Add Hosts or Guest VMs?
We have a rather large list of VM servers we need to add to OpManager. The VM admin person is so busy he is taking quite a while to add the hosts to OpManager, so we are wondering if there is any problem with adding the VMs now--prior to their hosts being added? Populate "Assigned to User" field via login script
Is it possible to populate what user a workstation is assigned to (and change from In Store, to In Use) via login script? Or is there anyway to do it that does not involve adding this data manually?

Error while installing manage engine desktop central 8
Hi.. I am trying to install manage engine desktop central 8 on my work PC. But after accepting the license agreement and continuing with the default port it gives me an error as follows, Component : sourceComponent file group : sourceFiles file: cannot create a file when that file already exists this error comes when the setup is at 2% and the path shown is c:\...\setup.inx after which the setup stops. any solution ???

Actve Directory Scan - Map OUs to Sites?
Can I perform a AD scan where it configures the workstations discovered in different OUs to their corresponding site? Speaking with other techs at other customers sites they have said the only reliable way to get accurate info and not end up with unassigned machines and rubbish data is to run the startup agent thing on each PC. What's the better way to do it? Should the AD scan work fine for a company that's 8 sites, 150 PCs, 15 Servers?

Unaccounted for source and destinations below 2 hours
Hi, we have netflow proffessional 9.0 but as soon as we upgraded the capability to see the data less than 2 hours is lost.everything comes as unaccounted. if we increase the window more than 2 hours then it shows the data. is this a bug?
Asset Management and Product Type Problem
We are having issues with moving scanned assets into new Product Type catagories that we have created to help us further detail how many of what endpoint device we have. When a initial scan is performed on a desktop, laptop, etc, it is initially placed in the IT Asset Type called workstation. All of that assets information is also there and it allows us to rescan manually whenever we want. Issue with long term SLA
There are SLA's that we have initiated for future type requests.. requests that will not see completion until 30 days. The rules and the criteria has been set and the issue should be resolved within 30 days. In this case level 1 escalation is the ticket is not resolved occurs 10 days after. and the second level occurs 20 days after...these two seem to work fine. the third level is set to 30 days after and for some reason, it always fires early, 18 days after ticket created not even after SLA was

iPhone App - 401 error
Hi, My collegues wanted to use SC+ with their iPhones. So they downloaded the app and I upgraded the application to 7910. Now when they try to logon they keep on getting 401 errors. We use AD Authentication and have "Pass-through" enabled. Unchecking Pass-through did not work. Also creating a local account (non AD), did not solve the problem. The normal <URL>/m website does work on the mobile phones. Any idea what could be causing this?
EventLog Analyzer Free Edition on MSSQL
I installed EventLog Analyzer and after installing switched the database to MSSQL as we already have that installed and I don't see the point to running MySQL and MSSQL if I don't have to. I was a bit surprised when I logged into the program and saw an error box which said "Your current license doesn't allow use of MSSQL database. Please use MySQL as database." Is this a mistake? According to your FAQ there is no difference between the free and professional edition with respect to features or functionality.

I have an portal where users can reset their password using ADSelfService Plus. Is there a way to do a HTTP Post so users don't have to reenter credentials? I'm hoping that I can use the credentials they entered on our portal to login into ADSelfService.
Windows Agent Error in Version 6600
Hi.. When I install the Windows Agent and start it I get "IsValidCert() : Certification verification failed" in the PMPAgent.Log and also an Application Event Log Error for OPENSSL that has the line "OPENSSL_Uplink(100EB010,07): no OPENSSL_Applink" I have never been able to get the Agent to work and am looking to move into Production within the next week - Please advise... User Group
Hi, I create User Group based on Sites for Service Catalog purpose. Some Users that I imported from AD have "Site" information but others just don't have any information (blank). I want to create a filter in User Group that is "Site" + is not + "Lisbon", and I want that this group to have all requester that have a value differente from Lisbon or have nothing (blank) on "Site", but this querie just don't get "blank" users...
