ADManager Backup does not work
Hi, when i execute the "backupDB.bat" the Backup Folder and a zip-File will be created. But after some time the zip-File will disappear and the CMD shows the message "Press any key to continue". I was trying to test a backup by restoring on a fresh installation of v10100. How can I restore the backup now that MySQL has been replaced with PGSQL?
ADManager Plus service failing to start
I am getting a 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly when I start the ManageEngile ADManager Plus service. I see in the serverout0 log that the out of memory file exists. We have added space to this server recently but not sure it is recognizing it. Attached is the serverout0 file. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there any way an ADmanager Plus to setup a task to handle when an existing user legally changes their name? For example, the company i work for used to have a custom program that from a high level would basially handle all the tasks associated with preserving user info when their name chaged. So for example it would create the new account in AD, move all the users data from their original home directory to a new directory with the new correct name, and also handle the exchange side of it preserving

CMDB adding field & field types
Hey guys, Under Admin you can create new or change existing Configuration Item Types as we all know. May i ask for some enhancements to the available fields that can be added there or have some guidance or info whether or not this will be enhanced further or not. Unable to delete from SCP
Hi Team, Did a backup and restore of SCP onto new system and since then I cant delete anything - requests, contacts, accounts or even attachments. Gives me an error 'Request deletion failed'. It went un-noticed for some time since no one really deletes much. I would like to better monitor my network with Desktop Central. I have searched today and I am unable to find how I can get desktop central to send me an alert if a computer has been off-line more than a specified time. I did see the Power Management stuff but cannot get it to report what I am needing. Also I noticed that I am getting alerts such as when the Distribution has stopped but it will not send an alert to me or I can not customize it the way I need. If I am overlooking any of this please

Using computer configuration - Shortcut
I am testing this configuration to place an icon on the desktop of all users for all computers in our domain. I've specified the target application both manually as well as clicking the browse button and navigating to it but it places a blank icon on the desktop that just points to the C:\ drive. I've also included the Start in Folder to no avail. The shortcut should point to a application on a network drive. Is this a known bug or am I not doing something right? We're on build 80268.

We are evaluating ManageEngine Service Desk plus Professional 8.2. One of the function we need is the software usage. We like to know how many times a user use a particular application, when is the last time access and average daily use. It is for per user, per application base. I cant see one of my virtual machines under my esx server
Hi everyone, I have an issue with a ESX server, this server is discovered by app manager, but it missed one virtual machine, even I tried so many times to rediscover the ESX server but nothing happens. The missed machine is up and running, actually it is monitored at op manager, so this is weird because is not possible that the monitoring is working for it in op manager but app manager not. Reversing traffic directions on interface
Our router (Cisco 1921 ISR G2) is configured to export netflow 5 to a server running ManageEngine Netflow Analyzer. Our LAN facing interface (g0/0) is reporting traffic just fine, but our WAN-facing interface (g0/1) is not reporting anything. doing a "show ip flow export" reveals that flows are being performed by both interfaces. Is this because netflow 5 only supports ingress traffic, and ManageEngine is merging the two traffic reports? What ultimately need is to reverse the logic in the way that

PO status change
Hi, I don’t know if this is the right case. Every time when we update something in Remarks and Terms for an approved PO, the PO status changes to ‘Pending Approval’ and we need to re-approve it. Is there any way to get rid of this? We need to update some information in Remarks and Terms after the PO is ordered. Creating Custom Request View causes Tomcat Error
Since I was directed here from another thread in SupportCenter Plus, I create the same topic here. A few days ago one of our technician received a problem when creating custom views.The error message reads HTTP Status 500. He can´t create or edit any custom views, we tried deleting all views created by him but that didn't help. Everybody else can create and edit views just fine. Is there a solution to this problem?
