What is in the backup? Is it a full backup that includes archives, file attachments, and logs. I have been running SDP Pro for about 5 years and my backup file is less than 60 MB. Is this normal? Thanks

Tracking Task History
We use tasks attached to a request to handle new hires and employee terminations. The feature works well except that there is no auditing of the who performed each task. Anyone can select any technician and mark a task as closed. Further, there is no history to show who did what. Is it possible to have the system log changes made to tasks in the history tab? Modify User shows empty screen
Hi Since three days I get the following screen when I try to modify the user account. The server has not been upgraded, patched or otherwise changed since the error started. Creating a custom script monitor template?
We have an HP-UX server that we need to monitor the contents of a log file on and alert when a condition is violated. We have the script to scrape the file, but I'm a bit puzzled as to how to enter the custom script monitor. Instead of just entering the command for the script(Which we have on the UX server), I have to replace the script name with ${FileName}. However, when the script executes it runs ksh: /usr/contrib/bin/OpManager_603_1387292495107, which isn't the file name. What am I missing?
Random error 500 when using IE
We have a user base of about 60 people that submit tickets. On random occurences specifically in IE the user will receive an error 500 when trying to access the helpdesk. We have AD authentication pass through enabled so the user clicks a link and they are automatically logged into their dashboard. Has anyone else seen this or have any thoughts on what to look for? How to disable the temperature notifications? (Cisco devices)
After updating to version 11, I am now getting notification emails about "Hardware Sensor Name : Switch 1 - Temp Sensor 2, YELLOW . Category : temperature. Current State : 2 - The sensor is operating outside the normal operating range" on Cisco switches. In the notification profile, I've disabled the alert for "when any Hardware in problematic condition", but I am still getting the email alerts.

%username% parsed as Display Name by ADManager
We are trying to use User Templates in ADManager. We want to automatically create the path for the user's home directory (Account tab --> Home Folder). However, if we use (as suggested even) \\server\share\%username%, ADManager incorrectly parses the variable as the user's Display Name (barbaraann instead is parsed as Barbara Ann, for example). I tried substituting some other variables but if it's not a variable ADManager is prepared for, it seems ADM just strips out the variable from the path.
Object reference error during mailbox creation
Randomly when I create a mailbox for an existing Active Directory account using AD Manager I get the following status: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. It doesn't happen all the time but I am unable to determine what the message means. I would like to get an explanation on what this message means and why does t come up when creating a mailbox.

Nested Group Report
The current GROUP MEMBERS report shows all of the members of a group including the users who are in nested groups. That part is fine. However for my purposes, I need a report that shows the actual nested group name rather than the nested group's members. Is that possible? For example: Group A - includes Group B, Group C as members. I need the report to show that GROUP A has 2 members (GROUP B and GROUP C) rather than showing me the users who are members of those 2 groups.

How can I create a new Exchange user for which received mail is forwared to an external SMTP address?
We have a class of users who have internal AD IDs and Exchange Mailboxes who are also configured with a Contact address with their personal e-mail addresses. We use these to forward mail to these folks personal accounts. Our current practice is to create the Contact in Exchange 2010 and the AD ID and Mailbox, then setting up forwarding in their mailbox definition. Can we set this up with ADManager Plus? Have a Computer Configurations option to move the computer to a different Active Directory OU
You have a good list of Computer configuration actions but one that is missing that we would use is the action of moving the computer to a difference AD Organisational Unit. When we add a new computer to our Domain it is added into a "Build" OU and we have Desktop Central set to auto install the agent to computers in this OU and we have a configuration targeting this OU which installs a few bits of software. A couple of suggestions
I have a couple of things I would like you to consider for future versions. Need the ability to make mass changes to Help Desk Technicians. Specifically, assigned OUs and templates. When releasing new patches, don't automatically assign new templates to Technicians. This wouldn't be so bad if item 1 was implemented.

If you delete an AD user or computer account using ad manager, how long can you use the undelete function if you have too? 30 days or 1 year or longer?
Duplicate requests in xls file

Agent Not Reachable in Desktop central

Monthy Survey Results Report
We are looking to create a monthly reports that generates the Survey Results average by Question. I was able to generate this using the quick matrix report generator, but the system default seems to use zero decimals, which creates skewed results. Is there a way to change the decimal accuracy default or at the report level? Or is there a Query report that can be generated monthly to report last month's survey results average by Question?
Preventive Maintenence Tasks for SW updates
I am looking for suggestions on the use of the PM Tasks option for the scheduled release and distribution of software updates and patches. I would like to avoid using the Change Request module because we do not need that much documentation. Most of the change request will be empty because we have a process in place similar to MS Patch Tuesday. Regularly scheduled software updates. Import ticket conversations
While evaluating SDP we are testing migration to SDP from our current ticketing system. While core request data can be imported, we do not see a way to also import the bidirectional conversations from our current system into SDP as part of a request. Is there a request import option we are missing to be able to import request conversations?
Technician can not edit request detail by click "Edit"

ManageEngine ServiceDesk does not started after upgrading from 8027 to 8100
I have upgraded our ServiceDesk from 8000 to 8027 without any issues but when I take the next step to 8100 ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_8_1_0_SP-0_21_0.ppm the upgrade succeds but then will not start. All I get is the splash screen and it hangs on Application Layer Started..... I have uninstalled, restored back to 8000 and tried it again but it once again hangs after upgrading to SP1 What should I look for?

SQL 2012 Help with tables
Hi All, I installed EventLog Analyzer to use SQL 2012 and the DB. I am trying to find user log in and log out events on our Term Servers. The one SQL Table i found has the info but is only breaking it down to the hour instead of HH:MM:SS, but in the CSV that is emailed to me it shows the exact time of logon and log off. The name of the table i found is called dbo.EventLog_HR_Trend. If someone could point me to the table that has the more detailed times that would be great. Thanks in advance Adam
SysEvtCol.exe will not start
SysEvtCol.exe will not start without producing the following error: "The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll". This is a fresh install of EventLog Analyzer. The web interface functions but the server logs are not being scanned. Anyone know why I am receiving this error. Thanks
Radius Authentication and EvenLog 8.6
I upgraded EventLog 8.5.1 to 8.6 and radius authentication stop working. (linux version) I downloaded the full package 8.6 and radius authentication does not work. (windows version) I tested with tcpdump - windump, and no request is made from EventLog Server to Radius Server in both cases.. Any suggestion?. Regards HSD
