All services of OpManager are running fine. When I access Web Client and go to any MAP Snap Infrastructures. I found following error: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- No devices found in the Servers Category -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I try to add some of my domain machine I received message that "Machine is already exists". Please help me how I can recover all category devices. Which are still in the Database

Dear all, I test using the WMI service a Disk, Memory, CPU utilization and DiskQueueLength monitor. I entered as follows value. But I failed the credential . User Name: WORKGROUP\Administrator Password: telemant So I entered empty value. I successed about it. I don't know about reason. I attached a snapshot file. And I attached the Support Information file. So I added on a DiskQueueLength in the Add Monitor of performance monitor. But I couldn't find a added DiskQueueLength in the Performance Monitors.

Question about interaction between SD+ and OPManager
Hello, does anyone know something about the technical way of submitting troubles from opmanager to sd+? How does it work? Only per mailexchange? We wonder if a trouble is sent to SD+, in the mail there is nothing to see about the severity and the category the trouble has to be commited to but it works (we installed it the way like it is described in the integration guide). Why is the mail interaction needed? Is there a way the communication between the system works without mailing?
How do I unhook the Active Directory Monitor from a server?
I'd like to re-associate a server with just Windows 2003, not an Active Directory Domain Controller; since the trial of the Active Directory Monitor expired. When I attempt to access the server's config page it gives me a warning that says: "Status Message: Active Directory Monitoring Add On Feature is not licensed." I can not go forward from here. OpManager + FWA + ELA
Actually a customer is using a two server, one for OpManager and FWA, and other for ELA (shared with VPN server). Which would be a recommended configuration to get the 3 Apps working in one server under Windows 2003? My client, running OpManager 7201 and things were running fine for months until one day the client logged into the GUI and NO DATA!! After checking the logs I found the lines below (and others) in /opt/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/logs/stderr.txt. hello there. opmanager version: Build Number : 7200 i dont set up service monitors/ windows service monitors.. The only thing i have setup is "server is down" to receive notification "notification profile". but when server is down, I have no received notification from opmanger to my cell phone. what i setup is "send sms" using our email server to my cell phone.

Hi, I am doing investigation on Opmanager. Il will have more than 100 Servers to discover with printers, routers and desktops. Each of the servers are in their own subnet. Each subnet has one or more printers and one router. Hello, I see traffic that my OpManager system is trying to contact the IP for the online demo. Is anyone else experiencing this? Also, is there a way to stop this? Printing Alarms
I have been asked to keep a history of all alarms. It was suggested that I print a list or email a report. I've looked, and don't see any way to print a list of alarms. The reports don't appear to have a way to do this either. Does anyone know how, or if this is even possible? Thanks 18 days left on the 30 day trial.
Multiplying the server object number
Hi, I have a problem with the servers infrastructure view. All servers are being multiplied according the services available on device. For example: I have one server (RIOSERVER) that has 2 services (FTP, WEB)... so in my Servers infrastructure view I will find the correct server object (RIOSERVER) and two more objects (RIOSERVER_FTP_21 and RIOSERVER_WEB_80). op manager hang after install of 30 day trial license
Hi, my name is Mike from Sweden. We are currently using your ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Enterprise och Sophos SBS fully licensed and want to look att your Op manager as well as Manage engine applications manager. I tried to install OP managager 7 with 30 day trial license on a virtual server: - Windows 2003 R2 32-bit SP2 - 512MB RAM When it tries to start it hangs at "Initializing web server". Unable to send alerts to Sprint
Using OpManager 6.0 Up until recently I have been able to send alert text messages to my Sprint PDA. This suddenly stopped. Our server logs show that the test messages from OpManager were sucfessfully sent and received for delivery by Sprint PCS. But they never arrive. I have spent hours on the phone with sprint without success. I can change the recipient address to anything other than my PDA and the messages are received almost instantly. The second issue is trying to setup a secondary mail server.

Are there any plans to allow monitoring of RHEL5 either by SNMP or especially SSH Cli? I just added a rhel5 device and can SSH into it with OpManager yet performance monitors using Cli don't return anything. thanks

Just want to inquiry of Log-in of Opmanager, i am using trial version, i wondering if i purchase a copy, i can log-in more user. My question is, can i assign a specific user to view specific server/url ? examples, username user1 , when this user log-in, the can only view a specific server & url,,, therefore, when other user, example log-in user2, he can see other specific server. Dear all, We installed a OpManager in the Windows server 2003 enterprise edition x64 r2. We managed a MS-SQL monitor as default. we changed a MS-SQL portnumber 1433 from 13975. But we couldn't a MS-SQL monitoring. What's the metter? We have a question. - We want to manage a Lan card. So we selected a special device. In the Interface tab, we clicked rediscovery link. we found that the message "Interface added successfully" But we couldn't know the lan card information. We attached a snapshot file.
Opmanager stopped collecting data 23:59 Nov 2
Opmanager Build 7024 All monitored devices stopped recording data at 23:59 last night. They are still monitoring, just not recording. I tried a reboot of the server, but that did not help. Any idea why?
cisco 3560 router or switch!
following on from my last rant (i'm having a bad day) Opmanager 7 (fresh install, latest version, plenty of server power) has decided to randomly categorise my cisco 3560 series switches as either 'router' or 'switch' depending on its mood. The ones classed as router come up as 'cisco device' even though in the description field below that box it says 'cisco 3560...blah blah'. Capturing ENTITY parameter from SNMP Trap
Hi, I've created a notification profile to run a script everytime SNMP Trap is receive. I found out when using Trap Viewer in MibBrowser, there is a parameter called ENTITY. Is it possible to capture this value and add it as a prameter to the script. I know that there is a parameter $source, $displayName, etc. Attached is the screenshot.

Is there a unique alarm id generated when an alarm is created in Opmanager? If so is this alarm id usable in the message payload? That would also be for the clear message payload
7202 makes my devices poll by outdated name, not IP
If I upgrade from 7200 to 7202 - all my devices seem to begin to poll by device name, not IP address. The trouble with this is that a lot of those devices names have changed since we have been using the product, and are therefore outdated in OpManager, even though the IP is the same. This causes nearly all my devices to appear as down even though they are not. Can I change back somehow to using IP polling - or show me an easy way to rediscover the device name? Thanks

Trouble on non-existent interaces
Message: Traffic Utilization for Interface GigabitEthernet0/52 is 100%, threshold value for this monitor is 30% We are receiving a number of the above messages for interfaces 49 through 52 on switches which have only 48 physical and monitored interfaces. I can find no reference to any additional interface monitoring for the device. Where will I find 49 through 52 so I can either change the limits or disable the warning?

Hi, I've a bunch of NetApp FAS3020s running OnTap 7.2.2 or 7.3 which I'd like to monitor with opManager 7202 (which I'm trialling at the moment - downloaded yesterday). I've installed the NetApp MIB (639kb, 17th March 2008) but when I try to browse it in opManager, or access it in any way, opManager exits (the opManager server crashes) and I have to restart opManager. The MIB loads into opManager just fine - its only when you try to actually use it that everything dies... How can I monitor/manager

Hi, We have OpManager running on an HP DL380 server with a 3.0 Ghz Pentium D processor and 4.0 Gb Ram , we have noticed that the CPU ramps up to 100% quite often and in the task manager this is caused by upto 20 cscript.exe processes running. This causes the box to run so slow as to be almost unusable. Is there any tuning that we can do to stop this happening ? Scott.
