SQL2005 WMI monitors stopped working
Hi.
We've been using build 7202 for OpManager for several weeks now, and on the whole I'm quite pleased.
However, the WMI-based monitors for SQL Server seem to have inexplicably stopped working. Using the "test" option I consistently get "The Monitor did not respond to the test request", and no data has been gathered for the last week. The monitors used to work fine. SQL server system info: SQL Server 2005 SP2 running on Windows 2003 Enterprise R2. OpManager is running on an HP DL320G5 server, 3.2GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB RAM.
Has anybody else faced similar issues, and if so were you able to solve the problem without rebooting your SQL server?
