Hello! Could you help me to migrate a device (or few devices) from one OpManager server to another on same domain? how to?
After successful adding, unable to find the device
Hello! I have the aforementioned problem. Here are the details: I want to add our switch with 192.168.10.2. I tried 3 separate ways to add, but all have failed. 1. Admin/Add Device - I clicked on the Admin/Add Device button. On the new page I added the IP, the netmask and the correct credentials to use (I checked it several times). - A new page appeared with the "Info: Device added successfully." phrase. - After this, I can't find this "successfully added" device. I tried also the Switches/Import

WMI monitors stopped working
Good morning to everyone. Last Friday (Dec 9th) we updated our OpManager setup to V9 build 9010. Everything was running just fine for several hours after the update. That same day at 00:00 all WMI monitors stopped working. I can see reports up until Dec 9th 23:58 but nothing after this date and time. When I check the SNMP and WMI credentials they all pass. All monitored devices stopped responding to all WMI monitors. No updates were installed on the monitored systems or on the OM server except

is it possible to add script monitors with out attaching them to a server?
I'm monitoring a URL and graphing the number returned. this works well enough. The issue is the apparent need to attach the script to a server .. the data being monitored has nothing to do with the server and confuses people when they see an alert ..
removing custom SNMP Monitors ..
I've been experimenting with the SNMP monitors and have collected a few that just don't work right. How do I go about deleting them from the lists? Annoying having to come up with new names when I adjust one. thanks
Displaying graphed data from a script monitors on the dashboard.
Example would be data we get from our service reporting the number of logged in users. The script is working and I can view the graph when I view the server I've attached the script to. I'd like this data to be displayed on a dashboard that we have setup on a big monitor. is this possible?

Server based monitors
We are rebuilding our opmanager environment, and over the years some of our servers have had process and/or URL monitors added to them individually to the server, rather than the admin console. This causes an issue because the associations are only shown from a monitor that's been placed in the admin console. I need a query that can be executed to identify all the process and/or url monitors associated to any given server. Please Help.

Linux Memory Consumption and SNMP by OpManager
Hi, Linux (RHEL) would consume any amount of memory you allocate to the distro, but it only utilizes what it requires and 'cache' the rest of the memory. OpManager on the other hand receives the SNMP detail from the Linux host and displays it as the Linux host is running out of memory where only the Linux machines consumed all memory and cached what it's not using. This results in 'false' alarms etc. Is this a RHEL mib taht i should update on the linux box or is this something I should be looking

UUID Error when adding multiple ESXi Servers to VMware Add-On
Hello, We use the Dell C6100 Servers. They are basically 4 Servers in one 2u Chassis. When adding each "sled" into OPM (VMware Addon), I can only add the first "sled". All subsequent sleds get the error below: UUID of ESX Host HOSTNAME matches with UUID of already existing ESX Host HOSTNAME. Any ideas why? There aren't any duplicate servers involved.

Increase no of licenses
Hi. We are currently running OM 8810 Deluxe 500 devices and going to upgrade soon to OM 9. Is there any chance for us to increase no of licenses with 200, but still working with this standalone version (8 or 9, it doesn't matter)? The point is that we dont need an enterprise version with central/probes for only 200 more devices and also we don't exceed total monitored interfaces - 5000 (now or in the future). Thank you, Bogdan

Upgrade from 8810
All -- I am trying to upgrade our Opmanager 8810 to 8823 and when trying through upgrademanager the process fails though it looks like it completes. Once I exit out of the upgrade process I find that when I connect to OpManager I don't get our normal splashpage also dashboard and all view/device information is not available. I then have to uninstall using upgrademanager and things seem back to normal. I also need to migrate from MySQL to MSSql and would like to know the process to do that. Thanks.
No Email notification for URL down
Hi all, In version 8812 as well as in version 9010 I have an issue with the Email based notifications when an URL is down. In the URL setup i chose the same profile I'm using for servers, routers, switches, UPS, etc. (where it is working fine) but i don't get any email. I notice this for any URL (I have arround 8 now). When the URL goes down, I see it in the Recent Alarms but no email. I have run the report "Notification Profiles Triggered" and are present next to the notification for servers.

repairdb does not fix problem with oops error on login
I recently updated my version of OpManager to 8.1.0.8810. Since then I haven't been able to get into the web interface and always get the error ' Oops looks like a few tables got corrupted. Don't worry.. Run RepairDB.bat from bin directory and restart the server'. Although I've run the repairdb and restarted the server a number of times, I'm still unable to login to OpManager. The service seems to be running alright as I have gotten a few alerts via email when the service is running, but that

95th Percentile Average
We are running OpManager build 8025. Our bandwidth graphs for our various devices are showing the 95th Percentile graphs, but they are averaged instead of the real 95th% number. Is it possible to switch this to use the real 95th number instead of an average of the 95% of our traffic?
