After successful adding, unable to find the device

Hello!

I have the aforementioned problem. Here are the details:

I want to add our switch with 192.168.10.2. I tried 3 separate ways to add, but all have failed.

1. Admin/Add Device
- I clicked on the Admin/Add Device button. On the new page I added the IP, the netmask and the correct credentials to use (I checked it several times).
- A new page appeared with the "Info: Device added successfully." phrase.
- After this, I can't find this "successfully added" device. I tried also the Switches/Import option, and hoped that it will appear there in the list, but nothing.

2. Admin/Discover Devices
- I clicked on the Admin/Discover Devices button, and selected the IP Range option. I added the 192.168.10.2 ip to the Start IP and End IP (to make sure to add ONLY this device), selected the netmask, and the correct credentials.
- After the discovering appeared the desired device on the panel selected (with the correct template), and I clicked on the Import Devices button.
- On the new page with "Devices Added Successfully!" phrase I clicked the Finish button.
- I was unable to find this device manually (checked through all types: routers, desktops, etc.), nor with the Import option.

3. Switches/Add Switch
- I clicked on the Switches/Add Switch button, and added the correct ip, netmask and credentials, and clicked on OK.
- On the new page appeared the device name and the device template correctly.
a) I clicked on the Continue, and after a few seconds on the new page appear the following error message: "Status Message Unable to find the object : 192.168.10.2".
b) I clicked on the Save button, and appeared the page with the "Info: Device added successfully." phrase. I went to Maps/Switches page, but there is nowhere this "successfully added" device (nor on the Import panel).

We use OpManager 8 on Ubuntu Linux, with MySQL database. Our system parameters is the following:
OpManager: 8050 Professional
Ubuntu: 4.2.4 server edition (2.6.24-27)
Device no.: 1 server, 4 switches, 1 UPS

I don't understand why says the OpManager that the device added successfully, if it doesn't added.

Please help with this issue. Or if you can give me some hint, where should I look in the logs, to workaround this "bug" (if it is?) or to understand why this happens?
