Sir,

I have set up NMS with Manage Engine and added remote switches, I'm able to access the memory and CPU utilizations and gets information about interface up down status. But Im not getting any messages or alarms when an interface goes down. I'm system admin and not a network specialist. I have tested with a switch having bpdu problems by putting it up and down. I dont get any messages indicating that. 

How to solve the issue

This is the configuration I have done in that Switch

snmp-server community <community> RO

snmp-server community <community>  RW

snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart

snmp-server enable traps tty

snmp-server enable traps cpu threshold

snmp-server enable traps config
