I want to use mssql instead of mysql.

I have installed mssql on the same server with opmanager. I am using opmanager db configuration browser. 

DB Host - localhost

port - 1433

username and password are same which i have provided at the time of mssql installation. I am getting an error "hostname or port is incorrect". 

Please tell me steps to install mssql 2008 r2 for opmanager and also how to connect it with opmanager.
