Google API key
I inadvertently used the wrong google account to obtain a key and would like to use the correct one. So, how can I remove the Google API key and reset the Google Maps screen back to asking for the key?
Sending reports to Excel, PDF or Email shows wrong data
Hi Support, After upgrading to Opmanger 8, when i go to Reports and run Device Availability report, it shows me the correct information, but when i try export that information to Excel, pdf or email, it sends me the incorrect data. For example, i ran a custom device availability report for the first week of feb 09, then when trying to send it to excel or pdf instead of sending me the custom data it sent me the default data of the past 24 hours which it shows automatically when first initially clicking
Juniper M7i Device Template
Does anyone have a *working* Juniper M7i device template for OpManager 8? The out-of-the-box template does not work at all -- the OID appears to be wrong, and I get all sorts of errors such as: Data not collected for JuniperTemperature:There is no such object in this MIB. Data not collected for JuniperMemoryutilization:There is no such object in this MIB. We are running JunOS 8.4.x. Also, I can't seem to figure out where it is pulling these specific monitors -- that is, I don't see a "Juniper MIB"
Windows vista Interactive service detection dialogue
Every time I open and log on to windows a screen pops up comes for interactive service detection dialogue. I click to show the message and then it will open to install some language [different each time] as I don't want those I click cancel, and the dialogue shows as no more attention required. See attached file. But every few minutes its poing up and may be different langaugae. This is happening for last 2-3 wks. I even tried to restore system to an old date. But still coming! anyone know how to

We have Cisco 6509 which is "default gateway" for a lot of VLANs, so it is a ROUTER for VLANs, but it also has lots of ports which is used as simple l2-SWITCH. On the "network view" all the VLANs of this switch are separate. Is there any way to "say" to OpManager, that all this VLANs are interconnected? Is there any way to set multiple IPs for ONE device?
Opmanager Device icons set to default in "switch"
Hi I have different icons defined in the device template for a given device. If I add the device to the "switch" category a default icon is displayed. If i create a new category and import from the "switch" category the correct icon is displayed. Import them back to the switch category the default is displayed. Can the default "switch" category be modified to ensure the device template icon is displayed? regards Noel

We have an Avaya telephone system and all voip handsets on a network that uses all Extreme Summitt switches would the Voip monitor in Opmanager 8 support that?
ReBranding issue
Running Opmanager 8 and I am unable to change the report header image or the header image. Any help would be great as I need to get a couple of reports out to upper management.
No Values in Log a ticket
Hello I've got a problem with the notification profile. After the successful connection test between Opmanager and Servicedesk+ I want to create/change the ticket logging. But in the existing profile (Service-Desk-Ticketing) it's not possible to change the values. I also checked the mail-server settings, created new user accounts in OM and SD+ (admin/admin), checked in SD+ the technicians, categories and priorities for umlauts and so on and so on. Is there anybody out there who can help me with this
Disk Thresholds dissappeared !!!
Just a heads up for everyone. When i upgraded to Opmanager 8, i happened to come across a problem, on all my monitored servers, in the performance monitors my Free Disk Space monitor for my drives, i had previously set threshold limit's so that if my disk space goes to low, i get alerted, well all these limits dissapered, and i had to go into every server and reset the limit's for every disk. But the performance monitor still said that the threshold was normal as if it had been set. Worthwhile checking

WMI username password failing
I have upgraded to v8 and trying to add a WIN2003 server to it, however it keeps failing. I have disabled the SNMP in the WIN2003 templates and switched to WMI per the docs with no success. Also I have even gone to the "Change password" and tried a username and password that I know works with in our domain with no luck. Does it not accept special characters? This use to work but now doesn't.
SQL monitors all show N/A
Hi, one of my SQL servers, shows nothing but N/A on all the MSSQL monitors. The credential test passed for both CLI and WMI, and all the other monitors work fine.
StartWebServer.sh does not exist in apache directory
Hello guys; I'm not able to start opmanager on linux suse10.3, i'm receiving the famous could not establish a connection to web server, server gracefully shutting down message. Followed most of the solution links, but the problem persists, one thing, that the StartWebServer.sh script is not present within the installation directory, could that be the problem? Upgrading from Opmanager 7/7205 to Version 8

Renamed device, lost historical data
Using OpManager 7 build 7025. I just renamed a device and lost the response time and packet loss historical data. I noticed that the device type also changed. I'm not monitoring this device with SNMP, only ICMP. How can I get the old historical data back? I tried renaming it back to the old name, but that didn't work. In addition to changing the name back, I also tried to change the device type back (to what I remembered), but that didn't work either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Monitoring a custom event log for events.
Hello, Build 7100 of opmanager and running great. Great product. My question is, we have a server called EmailXtender. This product logs events to an event log that it created called OTG. It is viewable just like the application, security and system event logs on the system. When something is wrong, the product will only write the events to the OTG log. Is there a way for me to create alerts on this custom event log? Thanks!

BUG: Free disc space graph in opManager 8
Hi, we've added a "free disc space in GB" monitor to all our windows servers. When I want to display the graph for a computer with two discs, the standard graph comes up ok, but when I change the period from "Today" to any other period, sometimes the wrong drive is shown up, e.g. "Today" is called for drive C:, changing the period to "Last 7 days" is shows drive E:. I guess this calls for the next hotfix Regards Goetz

We get some weird errors. We got no alarms but the overview is showing that the URL has errors while there is nothing wrong. What can we do to solve it.
Error Message when OpManager trys to refresh stats
Hi All, I am having a problem with OpManager V8. Everything has beem working fine since Monday, now all of a sudden I keep getting an message whenever OpManager trys to refresh a any stats. Error message; Error Occured - We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after some time or refresh the page and try again. Has anyone had the this problem? I would appreciate any advice. Anybody have any luck getting OpManager to work with ExtremeXOS12.0 and above using snmpv3. I have tried everything according to the manual to no affect.
Delay notification
I've been searching and haven't been able to find anything that seems to help. I'd like to delay notification of down interfaces on cisco routers. I want to get notified after an interface is down for 5-10 minutes. SNMP traps are instant of course, but is there a way to tell opmanager to alert me if the alert isn't cleared within a certain period of time?

Error installation update pack OpManager
Hi, I'm working with OpManager 7200 and I'm trying to install OpManager 8 update pack I downloaded the opmanager 8 update pack on your web site. But when I choose the ppm file ( MYSQL 5 or OpManager 8) with the update manager tool, I have an error message wich is : "The file that you have specified is not compatible with this product" I don't understand why I have this message Can U help me please, thanks for your help Raynald
Data not collected for BackplaneUtilization:Error
I just upgraded to Version 8 today and immediately started getting this... Data not collected for BackplaneUtilization:Error: Request Timed Out I had never gotten it before and I confirmed that I had the right credentials. I even deleted the the switches and re-added them and continued to get the errors. I also seem to be getting AuthenticationFailure : null, I'm not sure what that is in relation to but I thought I would mention it as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Josh

Hi, when do opmanager support other GSM modem ? I have USB GSM modem (Huawei EG162 USB- modem). This modem installed on Com3 and Hyper Terminal not have any problem with it. OpManager can't find this modem. Slava.
Cisco Wireless Manager 4000 series
Hi, Opmanager identifies the Cisco Wireless Manager 4000 series, but it only sees it as a "Cisco 4000 controller" and offers nothing beyond the most basic monitors. It doesn't even have CPU or memory monitoring. I'd like to see more information, because the devices sends hundreds of traps regarding rogue AP's, wireless attacks, unauthorized devices on network, offline access points, and many other things. Any idea if your people are going to implement further support for this product?

Performance Monitors with OpenBSD
Hi, I am having an issue with OpManager monitoring the performace monitors (such as CPU Utilization and Free Memory). I have installed net snmp on OpenBSD 4.3 and OpManager will do the initial scan of the server successfully, but will not monitor any other devices (memory,hd). Version of OpManager is 7205 and under type where all the different devices are listed (Windows, Linux,Unix), nothing is listed for BSD. I have tried using Unix and Linux for BSD with no luck. Is there a mib I need to load?

Hi We have been trialling OpMangaer v7502 on Win2K3 R2 and a SQL 2005 database. We have now purchased an OpManager enterprise subscription license and I have built a new W2K3 R2 server, downloaded the new v8 install, and will be installing fresh on the new server. Due some ongoing problems we have had with the SQL 2005 backend, I have decided to run a dedicated server for Op Manager and Netflow analyser, and use the built in MySQL engine instead. I would like to retain all existing monitoring data
Move customized OpManager environment to another machine ?
Hi there, i want to move my configured OpManager Installation to another machine. I installed OpManager to the new machine , then moved the dircetory OpManagerDB with its content to the new machine. The startup picture of OpManager 5.5 stays on the screen, in the bottom line is written "configuration completed......" but now it hangs. Ist it possible to move my customized environment to another machine ? If yes, what has t o be done ? What have i forgotten ?
Cisco Interface Bandwidth
Good day, i've discovered my cisco interfaces using SNMP but somehow OpManager has detected that Interface Bandwidth of the connection is 9kbps and thats not true. See attached image Can you help me how to correct this or how OpManager detects this. thnx in advance for help.

I was able to successfully upgrage from ver 7 to ver 8 but my login screen still show OpManager 7. Any ideas on how to get this changed?
