How to get date and time for memory and cpu utilization
Hi, In report server memory and cpu utilization they only show the min,max and average. For each server if they reached max above 100% then i have to get the date and time when was the incident happened.Then i go more details by clicking into server snapshot page and check the cpu and memory utilization but it still not showing when was the server cpu/memory hit 100%.Can somebody help me how to get the exact date and time when was the cpu/memory hit 100%.Thanks.
[Service Startup] - Stop IE from starting at opmanager startup.
Hi, I'm currently reinstalling my whole Opmanager setup from scratch on a new Windows 2008 server (Been doing tests and upgrades since version 5...) and I was wondering if there was any way to prevent IE from starting when Opmanager service start (or restart). It never been usefull since I dont manage from the server, but now when the Service tries to interact with the desktop a popup appears telling me that a service requires attention... And its a bit annoying, so how do I deactivate this ?

Hi guys, I am looking for a software which could be able to monitor applications and SLA parameters. One of the main characteristics is that it could offer detailed information about TCP connections. For example, time to complete the handshake, retransmitted, lost, out of order packets, data rate, traffic volume between server and users (endpoints), tcp sessions, etc. It´s a big network with thousands of clients. Problems with configuring Multiple Thresholds
Normally the way we configure multiple thresholds is by doing it at the template level. For some reason we are not able to modify the thresholds for Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 devices as the only monitor that can be configured this way for those two types of templates is Disk Utilization, everything else (CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization and Partition details thresholds) cannot be mass configured, but have to be configured one at a time. Select a specific OID in the Device Template
Hi, I am creating a new Device template for a Juniper switch. I put the right MIB in the OpManager mibs folder. Then I created a new template for the right SystemOID. Then I associated a CPU monitor to this template. The problem is that Juniper has several sub-OIDs under the CPU OID. The wizard doesn't let me choose a specific OID but only the main leaf. Is it possible to specify the OID manually instead of choose it with the "MIB Browser"? The problem is that under the main OID I have several sub-OIDs
device summary empty
Hi, I have a fairly recent install of OpManager. My main dashboard shows the Device Summary box empty. What gives? Even if I edit the widget choosing servers, it doesn't show anything. Thanks --Derek
Database Maintenance - not working

URL Monitors Not Working

Adding a meaningful Dashboard to a business view.
I am running a OpManager build 8051. Currently, I have a business view configured for another person to login and check the status of his servers. He has full control of that business view only. My question is, the Dashboard tab that "comes with" any business view I create has four widgets by default. The first problem is that they are "Availability Distribution", "Availability Stats", "Average Availability" and "Top-N Least Available", all of which don't seem to work and/or are useless. The

[Device Snapshot] - Custom type encoding
Hi, When creating a custom device template, the name can contain characters as à é or è, the display is fine everywhere (well, in 2 of the 3 places I saw it) I've seen the device type except for the Device snapshot "read-only" view where the characters are displayed with a ? instead. The strange thing is that in the edit view, the drop list shows the characters correctly. It shows correctly in the Device template list too (Admin - Device Template). So there is probably a way

Notification: run program
What we want is a notification with a sound signal, that loops until the problem is solved. To do this I wrote a script that will start a .wav file in media player. When the script is started a second time the script stops looping. With an external USB soundcard we could produce the sound. Hi, I can´t get the custom monitors to work when I want to divide the output. I would need to modify a system up time -monitor to display days instead of seconds. When I use the add bulk and use a syntax .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3/8640000 the monitor doesn´t reply. Error message "The Monitor did not respond to the test request" comes up.
OpManager losing some daily statistics
Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to post this. I have installed OpManager 8, (build 8051) and setup a complete monitoring system of our hosting centre (this is running on Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0). Notification and Infrastructure View
I've severals devices under the Category Servers by example. One of them has an interface problem, so the whole 'infrastructure views' show 'Trouble'. I've got the alarm and the notification. That's Ok. Now another device in 'Servers' send a warning ( lower alarm level than Trouble ) alarm; I've got the alarm on OpManager but not the notification ! ( The trouble alarm is not clear ). What can I do to have a notification each time I've got an alarm ?

RemoveDBEntries for opmanager 8052
Good afternoon, We have a problem when we try to remove some devices. All seems ok however when we want to readd them, the systems says that the device is present into the system. We are using the RemoveDBEntries in order to remove completly the records. However from we've updated to 8052 version, we receive an error which is "opmanagerdb.portobject doesn't exist". This table doesn't exist in my database so, how can we do to change the .class file or does anybody know where we can download

[Business view widget] - Ability to click icons
Hi, While looking at a business view, it would be nice if the devices and shortcuts could be clickable (Map/Traffic mode) and reach the clicked device instead of having only the link to load the business view, then being able to click the link, since I already know that device 1 is in trouble, it is the device 1 that I want to see, not the business view, since I already see it :) Raphaël LEMIEUX Edit: Changed the Idea to question since the possibility already exists according to answers.

Hi All, We are running version 8051 and are unable to edit Business Views. I have tried using the server side "MapMaker" as well but after the login, it waits on a loading screen with the status "Client Initializing". Problem in Restoring Mysql Configuración
Hi, Coz of my Ongoing problem with my present instalation , i have install new hardware with same hardware and system configuration to install a new opmanager 8025 version. i want to restore only configuración data without any performance data , i have already done backup . now i have tried to restore the data on my newmachine , it says it restore sucessfully without problem but when i try to start opmanager it stops as in the attachment file.. not sure where i went rong...help will be apriciated.

Some trouble on device monitors
I found this problem since Op7, and it still happen in Op8(8050) I always found some monitor stop for no reason. For example, sometimes i check my switch found that one interface have no flow data since 3 days ago, i try to "update status", but nothing happened. Some monitor i can make a test immediately by myself, but i can't do it on interface monitor. If i successfully make a test by myself and get a monitor data, after that the monitor will work again. MySQL bin files
Hi I have large amount of bin files in MySQL data directory C:\Program Files\AdventNet\ME\OpManager\mysql\data called mysql-bin.0000xx. I have observed that those files started to be created since I have installed the failover system. Due the fact that i've run out of disk space, i was forced to move few of them to other disk, but this is not a solutions. How I stop them being created? What solutions do we have?
