OpMananager is not sending all traps as an emails
Hello. My system consist of several Motorola Wireless controllers. To each controller there are houndreds of Access port Adopted. OpManager is configure to sent a notification email when SNMP trap comes from Wireless controllers about Access Port Adopted or Unadopted. The problem is that OpManager not always sending e-mail when the SNMP trap comes. I made some tests to figure out how it works and where is the problem. I run wireshark on the Opmanager server ETH interface to see whether the trap came

Is it possible to show a view of interface traffic with the rx/tx combined? i.e currently its possible to show the overall utilisation of an interface in a percentage however I would like to show it in MB. Any thoughts? Thanks Brett

Performance Monitors not working
Hi Since I migrated from the 32-bit to the 64-bit version of OpManager, the performance monitors are not responding anymore. If i test them, i get an error, saying "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". The credentials are correct (cheking the credentials passes) and if I execute the wmi script on the commandline, I get the data. The problem occures on all devices no mather if it is a windows server or a network switch. We use the current OpManager version (Build 8723) running on a Windows
Unable to remove devices from OpManager
I have to ESX servers that cannot be displayed, added or removed from Opmanager. I have tried running RemoveDBEntry.bat and rebooting but the devices are still in the database. We are running OpManager 8722 with the VMWare Monitoring plugin.
Scheduled reports with Time Window
I saw that this is not currently available. I would like to know if this is on your roadmap and what sort of time frame to expect to see this feature in a future release. We run backup jobs and other maintenance work after hours which we would like to omit from reports, and our SLA needs are more along the lines of 7 to 9 and not 24/7. Free version uninstall
I installed the free trial version, but am now trying to uninstall it. Netflow Plug-in OpManager
We are trying to tie Opmanager to our Netflow Analyzer. On the Admin --> Add-on Page we put the credentials, hostname, port and select professional. We are getting and error message that says "Unable to establish connection to Netflow Server". I am able to get to NFA manually but need to have this integrated. Any thoughts?
Shared Device Template Library
When adding a new Device template, there is an option to "upload" to a shared library so that other users can view it. Problem: There is no link given to where this supposed library exists. Where can I find this template library so that I'm not re-inventing the wheel? I'd rather see if someone has a template already made, rahter then try to figure it out myself.

STP status on layer 2 maps
Hi The layer 2 mapping display has a number of "Link Status" indicators. Shutdown,Down,Others and UnManaged. Is it possible to incorporate the STP status of each link into the map. A new colour associated with "Blocked" would be nice. regards Noel

Layer2 network mapping
After performing a layer 2 discovery, I am drawn a map, however whenever I click on a link I'm getting this pop up "Interface associated with this link does not exist in OpManager". What does this mean? How do I associate all the links with Opmanager? Thank you. Rob

WMI monitors stopped working after administrator password change.
Hi, we have changed our domain administrator password, also changed it's credentials in OPmanager and it passes the test, but wmi monitors are giving us " The Monitor did not respond to the test request " message. It happens not on all servers, but only on some Terminal Servers which are running on ESX hosts. ASP.NET Application counters
Hello, I have been struggling to set up ASP.NET application monitors in OpManager. How do I do this? Since asp.net counters are viewable via Windows PerfMon, they should be viewable via OPMgr with no need to look for associated MIBs. How do I get the asp.net monitors into OpMgr so they are recognized??? Thanx!

Nice to meet you please let me question. The execution schedule : though "Every week" has been selected when Downtimescheduler is added. It becomes "Mon, May 2, and 2011 At 00:00:00 AM", and the setting doesn't become effective at the intended time zone. Please teach the method of improving this.
Allow customization of email alerts
Hello, Running Opmgr 8723. I know we can edit the mail.conf file to change the look of the emails sent, but what about allowing custom files depending on the message being sent? E.g., if a service is down/up - mail-servicedown.conf/mail-serviceup.conf If a server is down/up - mail-serverdown.conf/mail-serverup.conf This would allow us to add custom messages like "next steps", etc. Thanks!
VMware - preventing discovery of virtual desktops
Using OpManager 8 (8723) We have added a number of ESX hosts and it picks up the virtual servers fine. However, we would like to add the hosts for the virtual desktops without the desktops being added to OpManager. We don't want to manage them or have them affect our license count. Why not have a widget for every possible monitor?
I would like to create a dashboard or view that shows my routers along with their temperature and utilization in one so I dont' have to drill down into each device to see these values... It would be nice if OpManager gave more flexibility to the views you can create..

Problem Running Powershell in Notification Profiles
Hello, i have an issue with notification profiles. I have created a "Run system command" notification profile, that failed. Bellow i detail the configuration of the notification profile: Command String: powershell.exe -c "E:\scripts\EnviaCorreo.ps1" When i push the test button, it appears "Command Executed Sucessfully", in the task manager of the opmanager server the process powershell.exe is executed, but the script isn´t executed. To the Opmanager Team, Running Opmgr 8723. After using this product for years and struggling with stability and reliability issues, we have finally gotten to a point where the server can run for weeks without crashing or restarting the service. Old setup: versions 6-8721 2003 or 2008 Virtual machine with 2gb and 1cpu monitoring 500 devices (physical and virtual) Common issues were high cpu and memory usage and random crashes, constant service restarts. Existing setup: versions 8722->8723 2008 R2
Interface Reporting Statistics Period
We have a problem where we can't report beyond 6 or 7 day period on traffic statistics for a specific switch interface. Is this a known issue or are we experiencing problems with our install/config? We need to have the ability to be able to assess network performance and troubleshoot related problems. We are running build 8723 thanks.
Opmanager Notification
Is there a way with Opman notifications to know which service failed each time or Monitor, and have it maintain that information in the header of the sms message? Like Opman outage: SQL server, Windows Service SQL Server, or any monitored service? Or if its a file monitor that fails have it change to that? basically have teh SMS or emails be more descriptive with out being several messages long in SMS? -Jeremy Mayfield
No Data showing for 7 day
I'm getting the reports to work for all other date/time ranges except the Last 7 Days, this is happening in Disk Utilization/Memory Utilization/ CPU utilization monitor. I just updated to the latest hotfix 8723 to see if this would be fixed but we are still having this issue. Has anyone come across this and know how to fix it? Dan
ILO2 Management
Hi to all and sorry for my English. I have a DL380G5 server with ILO2 management card. Windows 2003 SBS is installed as operative system with SmartStart management software. OpManager found 2 server - Interface of ILO2 (with ILO2 IP) that is reported as domain controller. He found Active directory. He found this via SNMP but WMI check failed (i think obviously) with domain parameters. - Interface of Windows 2003 (with Windows 2003 IP) that is reported as normal server. Here my questions:

Not able to view device details on dashboard
Hi Team, I have added a device (Packet shapper 7500 series) in OpManager. I have also configured the SNMP in the same. But still details like cpu utilization, memory utilization interfaces details are not reflecting. I think it may be the MIBs issue.
