Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Surapong Termphantunun who works for Bridge Business College which is in Sydney, Australia. I am using your trial network monitoring software which is OpManager. Today, I am writing to complain that I have been waiting your reply email which is about OpManager software for a week. I expect to complete setting up and configuring the software as soon as possible, but I still have a difficult setup with my production. I sent a couple of emails to find out what to configure
Availability Reporting
Does OpManager monitor just the network links or does it use all the thresholds for services / processes when calculating availability? If a monitored service is down then my manufacturing operation is down and that is a “hit” against my system availability.
OpManager - ServiceDesk Plus Integration not working
I am trying to integrate the OpManager to ServiceDesk Plus. Both are running fine on there own but when I go to Add-In setup and run a test, it does not connect. I have double/tripled checked settings and they are correct. I am running Op V 9000 and SDP 8015. I'm not sure if this is creating an issue since I can't find anywhere which tells me which versions are compatible.
Why does the CPU always show at 100%?
I have one of my Citrix server running Windows Server 2003 R2 w/ SP2, it has 2 Quad Core processors, and when monitoring CPU Utilization it is always recording all 8 cores at 100% but the server barely reaches 10%. I am using WMI montioring, and it works one all the other 30 servers I have but this one it continues to report 100%. All the other montiors for the server are accurate, any suggestions?
CPU utilization 100% on opmanager
I would like to ask what could be the reason why my opmanager monitoring display 100 CPU utilization while upon checking the server. Its actual CPU usage is less than 10 percent.? TIA

No WMI credentials are working for terminal server
Hello, I are in the process of setting up additional monitoring with OpManager 8 (build 8812) and have run across an issue with getting any WMI credentials to work with a Windows 2003 Terminal server. This server is on our domain, and with the exception of the Terminal Services software running on it is the same as every other Windows server we have in our environment. Importing devices via CSV does NOT work
Hello, I tried bulk importing devices via CSV and while it successfully discovered the correct IPs of devices, and said successful, the devices did not import. If I manually import them IP it does work. I am not even close to my licensed device limit. Thanks -Marty-
Monitor credential access
I set the credentional settings cli and Snmp for monitoring multiple Serer. Everything works. But if suddenly one of the servers is no longer authenticate the user on ssh or not answer snmp reqest, the values of performance counters are 0. But server is aviable becouse ping is OK. How to set up so that if credentional access no longer work, I issued an alert about this?

Cannot open OpManager from windows 7 machine
Our IT director is running a Lenovo laptop with windows 7 professional 32-bit OS and Internet Explorer 8. Whenever she tries to access the opmanager web interface she receives an error stating that the browser needs to be higher than internet explorer 6, but she is running version 8. Has anyone come across a problem like this? If so, how did it get resolved? Thank you.
dashboard not showing
Hi, I have added a few exchange and MSSQL machines to opmanager and none of them show their respective dashboards. Now I found out I can delete the exchange machine and add it again under servers with the option 'add exchange devices'. This works, I can delete my other exchange machine and add this one as well. However I would much prefer to just enable the dashboard so I won't lose my data. And there is no such option to add a 'MSSQL device', so I don't see the mssql dashboard at all, how do I get

Can OpManager monitor for a particular windows process on a server/client? For instance, if I wanted to be notified when a particular windows process was kicked off, can it alert me?

CCTV views
Dear All, I would like to display a CCTV Views on an External monitor. The software provide me to set up an URL. When i add the one of my Opmanager server, i've to write the log in information like user and pwd. Is it a way to enter directly the CCTV view URL without to enter user and pwd? thanks for your help. Hi We are currently trialling this product with a view to purchasing if it provides us with the type of monitoring we require? We currently have 14 servers in several locations connected via VPN and have installed OP Manager onto one central server for the purpose of monitoring various events on the servers. We currently have 3 servers which although look to be available and 'polled' they are not showing CPU, Memory or Disk Utilization in the Dashboard? Any advice or guidance would be gratefully

SSH : is it possible to replace expect "legacy" login with SSH key sign in ?
At our shop we have several Linux boxes on which I would like to implement check through SSH. At present I am not satasfied at all with the CLI monitoring. SSH key sign in is so easy and robust, I fear the present solution in opmanager is unstable and risky towards security and a simple prompt change. Any tips on this ?

It would be much better to be able to log in to Op Manager using our AD credentials rather than local Op Manager authentication.

Hello friends, I have one query about ISDN , i have cisco 7500 router where have severl isdn links configure..i am monitoring this router using OPMANAGER . Now in general all my isdn links are down i use it as backup whenever framrealy goes down it comes up. i dont want OPMANAGER send me mails whenever it poll all isdn down interfaces... I want whenever isdn link comes up opmanger send me mail....can anybody guide me how can i configure this trap...using ciscoisdn.mib i can see status of the links.
Real Time Traffic Glitch - CCTV
I have 5 real time traffic Graphs in a CCTV View. Since Upgrading to the 9000 build, the real time graphs will flicker really bad. I have changed the refresh times and everything. Any suggestions? Happens in Firefox and IE
monitor error
I'm adding AD monitors to the my DCs and i'm coming across an error when testing the monitor. The service account we're using is not locked out, I successfully tested the WMI credentials and I confirmed the service account is a member of the domain admins group (I even added the service account to the enterprise admins group). NetApp FAS2040 Monitoring
We are implementing several of these NetApp filers and wish to monitor & report on them through OpManager ( build 8721). We have uploaded the NetApp MIB and worked at creating a new device template with monitors. Long story short, no conclusive results. For instance, CPU Utilization or used and free space on volumes. Has anyone else had any success creating these monitors? Thansk in advance.

Hi support team, We use SNMP to monitor servers and we have several questions: 1.As we understand, when adding Process Monitor, Opmanager will query HOST-RESOURCE-MIB to determine process list. Some manufactures provide specific Mib for servers information (aix, Hp-ux, ...), and those MIBs contain such kind of information (CPU, Mem, Disk, Process...). Device Details Password - how to set for all/template devices?
Hi all, I have a question regarding the Password option under a servers 'Device Details' section. When I choose a server I can then click this option, and choose my SNMP under 'Use this Snmp Credential', I have 100+ servers that need this setting, how do I do this on a group basis? It's not under the deviec template. Bit of an OPManager novice, just getting it all set up so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

How does one go about monitoring the Cisco switch stack/chassis using opmanager? I downloaded the MIBS and placed in the appropriate directory but not sure how to look for specific things related to the chassis. Any insight would be appreciated.
Monitoring blackout periods
Is it possible to set a blackout period where the alert will pause from its monitoring schedule? This would be helpful for scheduled restarts that some applications may require or need. It would avoid uneeded alerts of "down/up server(ices).
Interface limit incorrect in Opmanager Essential build 9000
I get this error message: "Your current installation has 12538 Interfaces. A single installation can handle only up to 10000 Inetrfaces. Please try the Enterprise Edition" Isn't the interface limit 50.000? Best Regards Daniel
