Display timeout in Kiosk mode
I deploy a lot of Samsung Galaxy Tab A devices to our environment. All of them are enrolled in ME MDM and they all use Kiosk mode to control the applications our users can access. Different areas in our facility receive different groups/profiles, based on what applications apply to them, but always using Kiosk mode. The latest Android OS version these tablets install is 8.1. Profile not being applied to all tablets, only saying 'notification sent'
In some, but not all (12 out of 30) devices are not reporting that the created profile is being applied correctly. The list of devices for this group show many devices as "Notification Sent" and "Profile will be applied next time it is online". However these device to appear to be online. I can sync to them, I can remote control them, I can disable kiosk mode. But profiles don't seem to always apply. I also preformed wipes on these devices as well. all devices are Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both the
Define privacy Policy for employee-owned devices (BYOD)
Hi, If i un-tick Employee-owned devices in our Device Privacy then it states what the Default Device Privacy policy is for BYOD devices. How do i change those? I need a different device privacy policy for BYOD devices than for corporate devices. Our IT dep. should not be allowed to see location and user installed apps on BYOD devices.
Active directory enrollment error
I made some test to enroll tablet devices trougth active directory on my local machine, i tested all the things posible and all worked fine. We decided to instal the aplication on a server and everithing was ok untill i tried to enroll trougth active directory. The device send this error "Introduzca la dirección de correo indicada en el correo de inscripción". Something like "Enter the email address of inscription email" and i dont know were to find it!!! help me please.
iPhone Backup and Restore
Hi everybody, I have an iPhone 5 in MDM that I enroll using apple configurator. Now i need to change this iPhone (photos, contacts, apps, MDM etc.) for an new device (iPhone 6). How to do that ? I dont want to lose my management in MDM. All the best.
VPN in Android profile
I'm testing the trial version of MDM Plus, and I'm creating an Android profile and deploying without issues. However, there is no option to configure a VPN. Looking at the user guide it should be there, but it's not. What am I missing?
Failed. Server session invalidated. When associating a profile
I keep getting this error on a specifice profile and I cannot figure out why. Thing is that it still associates with the device and configures it. The only things i have configured are passcode, restrictions, wifi, wallpaper.
QR Code needs updating after changing port
After installation I realize that I needed to change the port. That was easy enough, and only had a couple test devices that will need to be wiped and re-MDM'd. But the QR Code is still stuck on the old port number. How do I force ME MDM+ to regenerate it?
Automate OS Updates is disabling the location services after update the OS!
Hi MDM Community, I have the big problema with "Automate OS Updates". For some reasons, I need to set the location services enable. Clear Passcode == Permanent Policy Violation?
While testing ME MDM+, I used the Clear Passcode function on a new tablet. It worked as expected, forcing a passcode reset on the tablet. After the tablet had a new passcode, however, the policy violation remained. Even though the new passcode is compliant with the MDM+ policy, it still complains about the policy violation. Hello, my situation is as following, we have Desktop Central MSP edition. For a new customer we have created a new site, but we need to create a active directory connection so i sync the users to add to their devices. I know with Azure you have a certain AD azure connector. But i cant seem a way to do this with Desktop central msp edition. I hope someone has some info about this. I am trying to figure out the right way to enroll a Samsung Galaxy S7 Corporate Device. We are a small company with about 30 corporate phones and another 30 BYOD phones. I am using the free version right now with the goal to continue testing and probably move up to a pay version over time. MDM Plus Self Enrolment - OTP Not being accepted
hi, i'm trying to enrol a device for mdm plus the otp being sent to my email is not working either in chrome (at the enrolment url) or in the mdm app. the error it shows is invalid passcode. have tried regenerating a few times and have made sure to try a passcode which doesnt have any confusing letters / numbers. any idea what could be wrong? thanks, ranjit
Enrollment Issue
Hello, I used to be able to add another device simply by logging into my cloud account on the mdm app on the new device I was setting up. Samsung Note 4 to be exact. Then I would choose corporate or personal. After that it would show up in my inventory and I could select what polices I would assign to it. Which it would enforce. I tried to do this with a new device a Kyocera running android 6.0.01. I see the device listed in my inventory but when I assigned it to the profile it doesn't take affect.

I'm trying to set up some devices as a device owner. I can't use AFW as our G Suite account is run by a higher directorate that we have no control over. The devices don't have nfc so thats not an option. I've tried to DPC method with no success. It does not force download the ME MDM app like the guides suggest it should do. Cloud - Android enrolment via DPC token does not work
When using the enrolment via dpc token method on a google pixel 7.1.1 the ManageEngine MDM app does not work correctly. I can progress up until the point where i i need to select either cloud or on-premise. If i select cloud the loading spinner briefly appears before disappearing with nothing else displayed, something is not loading correctly? I am not sure. However if i hit back and select on premise the form loads fine and i could enrol the device that way if i wanted too (although i do not). If

MDM Self Enrollment
In step 3 of the self enrollment it asks for "Corporate Email Address<your corporate email address>". Can this be a generic email address used for all mobile devices or does it need to be specific to the device being enrolled?

Group Assignment when Enrolling Devices with the Apple Configurator Profile
Hi, I've been enrolling devices (iPads on iOS 9.3.2) using the Apple Configurator Profile downloaded from the Enrollment page. The enrollment works fine, the problem is that I can't assign the devices to a group of my choice. They all go to the iOS Corporate Default group. Is it possible to move devices across groups? Or better yet, is it possible to modify the Configurator Profile to assign devices to specific groups? Thanks for your help, Rodrigo H.

Hi, I'm enrolling devices (iPads on iOS 9.3.2) using the Apple Configurator profile (MDMAppleConfigurator.mobileconfig) downloaded from the Enrollment page. The problem I'm facing is that you can't configure the profile to assign devices to a certain group and, in my case, all devices are being assigned to Default_iOS_Corporate. When we attempt to create a DEP Profile we get an error message that states we need to make sure *.apple.com is added to the proxy. We don't have a proxy server
