Clear Passcode == Permanent Policy Violation?
While testing ME MDM+, I used the Clear Passcode function on a new tablet. It worked as expected, forcing a passcode reset on the tablet. After the tablet had a new passcode, however, the policy violation remained. Even though the new passcode is compliant with the MDM+ policy, it still complains about the policy violation.
I took it a step further, and used MDM+ to Reset Passcode, this time giving it a strong password. The violation remains.
According to MDM+, no Passcode is enabled. I have to put in a passcode to unlock the device, and the passcode is definitely within the requirements of MDM+... yet it doesn't grasp this. Even when MDM+ is used to set the Passcode / Password, it still doesn't understand this.
The tablet is running Android 7.0. No Knox. MDM+ was enrolled using the Token method.
Any ideas?
Thanks
