Custom date field is not correctly displayed in notifications
Hello SDP Support, I've got a small problem with custom date fields. I've created a date field in the Requesttemplate that is called: When did the alarm appear. In the Request form the correct timestamp is show as 29.09.2011 11:30, but in the Email notification it just shows 29.09.2011. When I look in the email source code there is also just the date but no time. Is there any way to include the time correctly? Using Build 8016. Kind regards Thomas

Merge Request Problem

Hey I have a very small problem, ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer 5, has consumed the availble disk space on my machine, there is 0 Byte availble. How do I reclaim some of the diskspace, I would rather do that instead of just expanding my disk usage? Brg Tune
parse error loading tripplite ups mib
attached is the latest official tripplite mib provided directly by tripplite support. i am getting an error when i drop it (and the ups mib provided) into the mibs dir and try to load it. screen shot attached. please help! firefox 8.0 attachments save as hdfiledownloadservlet
If I click on an attachment it asks me to save the file and saves it as hdfiledownloadservlet. If I rename the file to the correct extension (i.e. .txt) it opens fine. I tried this on both Chrome and Internet Explorer and it works fine, it only failed in Firefox 8.0. Running version 8.0.0 Build 8015
Work Log Bug
I recently noticed that there is a bug in the Work Log screen. The Executed Time shows Time 0 through 23 for hours. When selecting 7 hours it should show as 7 a.m. but it is showing as 8 a.m. instead.
Bug: Page listing, defaults, and select all
Tools > Wake on LAN > Wake Up Now I currently have 58 PCs added. When I go into Wake up now, it shows 1-10 of 58, even though the default is 25 per page. Selecting 25 does nothing and still only lists 10 per page. If I go back into Wake Up Now, and select 50, I get 50 per page. When clicking into Wake Up Now, I get 10 per page. I can do a select all by checking the box next to Name and it will select the 10 PCs listed. If I change the view to 50, 75, or anything higher per page, the select all
mib browser broken on 2nd click of "Get" button
Steps to reproduce: 1. open the MIB broswer 2. enter ".1.3.6.1.4.1" in Object ID input field 3. click "Get" button, this will come back success 4. now click "Get" button a second time (or you can add another number to the end of the OID before clicking) An error pops up box with no message inside. Please see attached jpg. Notice underneath the error box, the data from the first "Get" button click is still there.
Event ID 644 - Locked Out Report contains duplicate entries
We have a daily report which reports on event 644 occurences (Windows user locked out). For some reason our report contains duplicate entries for the same user. * It has the same time stamp * It is from the same source server This is an intermittent issue. Can anyone advise on why this occurs?

Hi! I've tryed to get the database on a axternal machine. Can't quite get it to work. It creates the database and some tables (318 to be precise). Asset issue - 2 computers not co-existing
In ServiceDesk I have 2 workstations with completely different sets of information. When I run a scan on Workstation 1, Workstation 2 is removed. When I scan Workstation 2, Workstation 1 gets removed. I am on ServiceDesk 8017 with the 1.05 client. I am also running MSSQL for the backend. Any ideas?
Request Category Sorting in Chrome/IE Different from Firefox
When creating a new request (or updating an existing request) in Firefox, the Category select drop down appears in alphabetical order. When doing this same activity in IE or Chrome, it appears to be sorted by the identification number of the category, rather than by its name. My question: is there any way to make Chrome and IE use the same sorting as does Firefox? I've attached two screenshots of what we're seeing in Firefox and then Chrome. ssh API (may be a program bug)
Hi all, I am using PMP build 6403. I configure a API user, it works fine and I can retrieve password. However I found a problem. My computer runs Ubuntu OS, PMP is running on Windows 2003. Problem working with BlueCoat and Firewall Analyzer

'File Monitor' not work for Desktop category
Hi all, I am using OpManager v8 build 8812. I already setup some devices in OpManager : a windows 7 and a windows 2008 machines. Windows 7 is under 'Desktop' category and windows 2008 is under 'Server' category. At the windows 7 machine, 'Monitors' tab, 'File Monitors', I click 'Click here' nothing comes up and I saw a error prompt at status bar. In Windows 7 machine, 'Passwords' > 'Test Credential', SNMP and WMI are Passed. However in windows 2008 machine, the 'File Monitors' function works fine.

Mail Fetching Just Stops
Two Days ago, I noticed that SDP was no longer picking up any of the mail sent to the exchange mailbox we have set. After some troubleshooting I get this error message when I to re-enter the POP settings -> FAILURE: E-mail settings saved successfully. But error occurred while trying to check connection with mail server - Problem connecting to mailbox. This is the second time this happen, with the first having no real reason on why it just started to work again. So far... I have re-enter all settings
Wake on LAN tool in desktop central
It won't save more than 10 computers/targets when configuring a scheduled task for wake on lan. I can add more than 10, but once I submit the task, only 10 are saved. If I edit the task and add computers again, when selecting, I can select all again and it lists fine, but once submitted, only 10 are saved.

Cannot start SDP after server dissaster
Hello Support Team. We've got the problem. Description: we had Service Desk Plus 8 (patch 12) installed on Win 2008 (Virtual machine) with external MS SQL 2005 Database. Suddenly we lost our virtual machine with Service Desk (Help Desk), but DB was still working fine. We installed Server again from scratch, install Manage Engine 8 ( to first on local MySql DB), patch it to 8 patch 12. deleting program from laptop
This "ManageEnginePlus" program can not be deleted from my laptop, even in calling and talking to IT, problem still exists. I have no clue how to get, take or delete this program if IT can't help either.l
OpManager does not start after a reboot..
Whenever I reboot my server (for patches or maintenance) OpManager and NetFlow Plugin never start up automatcially. I've had this issue and submitted numerous tickets on it but it never gets 100% fixed.. The service just keeps crashing and keeps repeatedly trying to start.. What I have to do is go into services and stop the service (stop it from trying to start over and over).. I then go into taskmgr and kill: jqs.exe, jucheck.exe, jusched.exe, and mysqld-nt.exe. OpManager – issuing recursive alarms on 4 ISDN links on 2 routers.
Hi – I just inherited an installation of OpManager. There are 109 routers being monitored, and 2 of them are issuing recursive alarms on two of their ISDN interfaces. The alarms are: Interface 'BRI0/1/0-Physical-BR0/1/0' is down. These alarms occur regularly all day, every day about every 3-10 minutes. But, When I drill down into the interface display using OpManager, the interfaces show 100% availability. The routers have identical configurations: Router 1 interfaces: BRI0/0/0-BR0/0/0

Asset Name changes from FQDN
I have been experiencing issues on my ServiceDesk server with asset scanning. Among these issues, I have noticed that most workstation names will switch between a Fully Qualified Domain Name and a non-FQDN every few scans. I had manually gone through and fixed all of the workstations, and I am watching them change back. I have the clients running the 1.05 agent and I am on ServiceDesk 8017. Please help.
Flows from the Cisco router interfaces
Hi I am having problem with some routers not showing their line tags. I upgraded to version 9 netflow analyzer from 8 which i did not have problems with same interfaces. I monitor about 65 Cisco interfaces and had no problems with these interfaces in the previous version of Netflow analyzer. Is there a solution for this . Please advise Regards Mpumzi
Business Rule Stopped Working
Hello. We have a business rule when: Request Type is "Incident" or "Service Requst" then send an email. This has been working fine. Then when we come back into the office on Monday, after the Thanksgiving holiday, part of the business rule has stopped working. Cannot see schema exchange extended attributes
Yesterday we extended our domain schema with exchange procedures ForestPrep and DomainPrep. Using 3thparty program i can see extened atrributes but using AD MANAGER PLUS 5 it seems that i don't have this possibility. How can i manage these attributes with this software ? Regards. Paolo G
Schedule restart "Reflect Custom Group Changes" don't work
Hello, we use "Custom groups" to deploy and restart our servers. When I add new computers to a "Cutom group" the system don't reflect this change to a schedule restart task. The option "Reflect Custom Group Changes" is on. When I manuell at the custom group again to the restart task all new system are visible. Same problem when we remove computers from a "custom group". No problem with a deploymenttask over "Automatic Patch Deployment". We use the latest public build: 70246 Hope you can fix this

SDP still send/receive while 'Mail Fetching status is STOPPED'
