New Netbackup 7.1.0.3 installation : service is displayed down, but sevices is really running
Hi everybody, Since 1 month now we are updating our Symantec NetBackup Agent from v.6.5.3 to v7.1.0.3. And now ON EVERY UPDATED SERVERS netbackup client service is displayed down but service is running !!! when i choose to add a monitored service the service is shown in "green" and since i add this monitor to the server, after a while it raised an alarm for "windows service down" some informations : OpManager version 9011 (waiting the new AMS license to update to the last version) Does someone experience
Configure Alerts
I would like to modify the alerts DC8 sends when a computer has not been in contact for more than 60 days. When I go to Admin > Scope of Management > Configure, change the subject line and click 'save' I am presented with a window that says 'Alert: Successfully Updated'. However, when I then go back into that same Alert, the changes I have made to the subject line are no longer there. Is this a bug?

Business Unit Categories and other options
I want the ability to "copy" an entire Category layout from one BU to another. For example when switching on BU having used SC+ in non-BU mode for some time, all the categories I need are present in the default BU. When I create new BUs I have create the entire category list again. Now I appreciate that some BUs may need a totally different category list, but having to add the same list again (over 100 catgeories in our case) is going to be very tedious. We should be able to duplicate the lists
Critical error on manual and scheduled backups SQL 2012 SDP 8027
Hi Service Desk I discovered that I have the a problem with the backups, please see error message below when performing backups. I am using SDP 8027 and SQL Server 2012. IE10 Field Sorting
I haven't tested this on Win 8, but in IE10 on Win 7 (which is now in general availability) the sort order in some of the drop-downs (category is one) is incorrect. I seem to remember the same problem happening when a prior version of IE was first released. Hopefully an easy (and quick) fix. Thanks, James

Hello, We are running OPManager 9450 and i try to install Netflow analyzer plugin 9800...but it doesn't work ! For information, my OPManager is on SSL. Problem to debug files databases
Hello to all, Now We have with the version 7 (7001) of Firewall Analyzer, In general the operation of the application is good only but We have a downside, In the application we configure in the section Data Storage Options that Database and log archive were 2 months but when We review the folder /../ManageEngine/Firewall/mysql/data/firewall, we detect files of more 3 moths ago, mainly ipd files. I once wanted to delete these files manually or by an application to connect to the database manager.

When requester searching for asset to be attached on new request page, [All Sites] shows nothing.
Hi there, SDP 8.1.0 Build 8123 Scenario: A requester filling in the form and try to choose from the list of assets. When the following is set: Type of assets: All Assets Site: All Sites Nothing is listed. Only if they select the appropriate site then all assets of that site will be shown. This does not happen when from a technician view. This behavior is consistent between Firefox 18.0.2 and IE 9. Anyone else have this issue?

Error editing workstation
We're having problems when editing a workstation. On the "Edit Windows Workstation" screen, all of the information appears down to "Asset is currently". The appropriate drop-down is displayed, and then nothing else shows up. Hi, I have just noticed that if i change the thresholds of a specific interface from Admin \ Interface Templates all interfaces of that type on all devices are becoming managed. This has created a big problem as i made a change on Ethernet (type 6), so in some minutes i received hundreds of alarms from ports that were not managed before - as used by users. I have solved it going switch by switch and router by router (i have more then 100 equipments) and i have un-manage all interfaces apart infrastructure
Wrong Notes in the Admin \ Discovered Devices

Application Manager 11 cannot discover some AIX servers
Hi all, I've just installed Application Manager 11 to monitor several AIX servers. I've encountered the error "Discovery failed for the configured resource.Refer our troubleshooting section for more details" when I 've tried adding some of my servers to monitor. Strange that several AIX servers work fine with AppManager 11, some don't. They are all AIX 5.3, monitored via telnet. Consider the AIX server that cannot be added to AppMan11 is 10.228.13.4. Hello, we have got small problem with servicedesk api. We have external application, which creates new requests in our SDP instance. It authenticates via one technican account. And there is a problem. Each request creates new account session and doesn't close it. How can we close this sessions automatically? The connection from our c# code is closed after request. I have been working on this all morning to no avail. We have 3 ESX 5 hosts that scan correctly and work properly with showing the virtual machines it hosts and the proper information. But we have 1 ESXi 4.1 host that is a standalone development box that, when scanned, gives the following error. FAILURE :One of the workstation attribute which is mandatory is set as NULL. Cannot add windows 2008 R2 host

Longstanding Biztalk performance Monitors Gone Bad
I'm on Opmanager Build 9200 I have used some Biztalk messagebox host counters for over a year. Suddenly when I go to edit them, opmanager only displays a screen which says "Error!". [Render Failed] Error on Requests Page on Data Restore
On seeing a 7909 error on upgrade to 7914 - I decided to get things checked. I did a backup of my SC+ 7909 and tried to restore it to a different machine - everything worked except the requests list page shows up as [Render Failed] [Render Failed] [Render Failed] instead of ID, Subject, Account Name ... etc for all rows. All other sections work - Contracts, Solutions even the Reports do work. The only way I could fix this was by getting a standalone Database Backup restored & replacing the DC+ Restored
Additional fields problem
Has anyone had a problem with the incorrect default value showing for an additional field when creating via a template? I have a field which contains drop downs of 0,1 and 2. It always defaults on 0 rather than "select": When I check the configuration under admin > Incident - Additional Fields, 0 is not selected as the default selection: I have restarted the service a few times and this has not helped. Incident and Service Templates not working after Update to 8125!
After updating the incident templates are no longer accessible: javax.servlet.ServletException: java.sql.SQLException: Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" and "Latin1_General_CI_AS" in the equal to operation. We also get an error when trying to change service templates: FAILURE :Exception while trying to get the Incident Template details. Seems to be a collation problem of the database.
