I haven't tested this on Win 8, but in IE10 on Win 7 (which is now in general availability) the sort order in some of the drop-downs (category is one) is incorrect. I seem to remember the same problem happening when a prior version of IE was first released.

 

Hopefully an easy (and quick) fix.
