Not restarting after deployment
I have an automated deployment scheduled and configured to not reboot if a user is logged on. The attached screen shot shows the status of the deployment. The problem is that this user is not actually logged on. This was the last person who used the computer, but they already logged off yesterday! To complete the deployment I had to login to the computer and click the Desktop Central popup message to initiate the reboot. Why did DC not correctly detect that no user was actually logged in at this
Service desk plus Build 7608 very slow
we have service desk plus hand have noticed over the last few weeks that it has been getting slower. we only have 4 technitions that use it. The server has been restarted but problem still exists. all other services on the server run with no problem.
PC Object and User Object duplicate issue
I recently upgraded to the latest 6000 build of AD Manager Plus . I'm experiencing a duplicate object creation problem only within the ADMP console. When I create a PC object within AD Manager and then try to create a User object with the same name I get a duplicate error message in AD Manager. However if I create the either object type in the Microsoft ADUC utility and then make the other in AD Manager it creates the object fine. Home Folder Permissions
Hi, We've got a problem, when helpdesk technicians create users, the permissions on the terminal service Home Folder are herited from the upper folder, adding the service account in full control, but the user had no rights on his folder. The problem is the same with the administrator. When we create the user with the active directory snap-in the permissions are good. Is there a parameter to set ? or is it a bug ? Regards.
"Top 3 Processes" incorrect
We regularly receive alarms from OpManager for memory and processor performance monitors where the "Top 3 Processes" information is wildly innaccurate. For example, just now one of our servers was sitting at 98% memory utilisation of its 8GB physical memory. 6GB was in use by a single application process. OpManager correctly reported the 98% figure, but didn't list the process consuming the 6GB in the "top 3". The top 3 consisted of processes using less than 1% of the total memory consumption.

Hello, When requestor attach files to the tickets and I go to download them, the system downloads them with the name of the service used to download them. For example: Attached file: Report.pdf Name when downloaded: FileDownload.jsp I can rename the file that was downloaded and use the pdf extension, and it opens just fine, but I shouldnt have to rename it, it should download with its proper name...

iPhone App does not download all Accounts and Contacts
The iPhone App for SupportCenter Plus will not download all of the Accounts and Contacts from the Desktop application. If you add a support request to the desktop application with the correct Account and Contact and then open that request on the iPhone App, the request information is there in the Requests Tab. NULL STARTUP ERROR

mail server outgoing settings

Can't draw a network map!
When I try to draw the network map, I get the error "No switch links found for this device. Please select different seed device" - I've tried all my Layer2 and Layer 3 switches, and get the same result. Do I need to do some extra configuration in OpManger or on the switches? They're all discovered, and the SNMP monitoring works.
Can't select remote desktop tool from dropdownlist

Custom Group Change - Patches were installed
Hello, I was hoping you could help me out with an issue just occurred today with Desktop Central. I moved 4 machines that were not in any groups into an existing Custom Group with no issues. About an hour later I received a call from the business owners of those servers stating that Windows Patches were pushed out and installed on them. From the Admin > Action Log Viewer I am unable to find any information as to when and what patches were pushed out to these 4 servers and what time. Can you provide

Expired Certificate on ActiveX Control
Hi, I am trying to use the remote control feature of desktop central, and the ActiveX control responsible for this has an expired certificate which causes Internet Explorer to disable the control. I have searched around and found a KB article about why the remote control feature might not work, and I was able to get it working by changing some security settings in Internet Explorer but I don't think this is a good solution, and creates unnecessary risk. Does anyone know of a way to update the certificate
Corporate wipe
Trying to do a corporate wipe on an iOS device. The device scans, I can push apps out but when trying to do a wipe, it just doesn't happen, the console shows that it is executing the command, but never finishes. Any ideas?

Help Desk Customizer Sub-Category & Items added may or may not appear in Request
When using the Admin Tool in SupportCenter Plus and modifying the Help Desk Customizer, new Sub-Category entries and Items entries don't always appear in the drop down list inside the Request. They show up in the Help Desk Customizer just fine and can be added, deleted, and re-added but those entries will not show up in the drop down list inside the Request. Please help! Skurfer
IPTables firewall host does not dislpay on dashboard
Dear Sr., For now I am testing trail version of the Firewall Analyzer 7.5 as stand-alone server. I configured Cisco ASA 5520 and Linux iptables host with shorewall iptables rule generation egine to send logs to the Firewall Analyzer. When I looked at the Firewall Analyzer dashboard, I saw only my CiscoASA but no linux host. issue in Change Management Interface
ServiceDesk 8121 How to reproduce this issue. Open any existing Change, open tab Implementation. ALL: Don't do IT !!! If you will click on the 'Description' tab on the 'Work Log Details' section -- you will see NTLM error. Now you will not see any details on the Implementation tab for any Changes. FYI. A link in a notification redirects to the business unit from the last session
Hi all, This is an issue that was discussed previously with the support. While I was adding the 2 VMwares to the SDP, I got the error. (192.168.4.33 and 192.168.4.34) Manual test by ping, 443 https port telnet worked on CMD. (also these VMHost servers are added on OpManager without any problem) Thank you in advance.
Java consumes almost 100% CPU resouces - Windows 2003 server
We are having some problems with JAVA.exe consuming most CPU resources when a user logs on to opmanager. When CPU resources are consumed, the server starts logging numerous system down errors (I assume because of low CPU resources). This also causes the Opmanager application to have very poor response for users. Our OpManager platform is Windows 2003 Server (VMware VM) and opmanager 8021.
iPhone App Time Entry Bug
In the SupportCenter Plus iphone App, there is a problem with the Total Cost calculations when adding a Time Entry to a Request. When adding a Time Entry, you choose your support rep and let's say he bills at say $125 per hour. If you enter say 1 Hour and 25 Minutes as the Time Taken to Resolve, the Total Cost field disregards the number of Minutes in the calculation and only multiplies the number of hours by the bill rate. So for example: Support Rep Bill Rate is $125 x 1 Hour 25 Minutes Taken
SDP on Win Phone 8
Hi - Just picked up a Lumia 920, running the latest build of Windows Phone 8. The standard mobile client seems to work OK, but there's a bug in the full client that prevents it from being completely usable. The request tab will load fine. We have ADManager Plus 4.0.0 installed and working fine but recently the service is not starting. Trying to start MySQL server failed

Dashboard "This Month" report listing Monday in previous week
I've seen this reported in the forums previously and the only suggestion was to check/change the "Start of the week" day in the Self-Service Portal settings. I've chosen both Sunday and Monday and it doesn't fix the issue. The Dashboard "This Week" and "Last Week" reports both work fine however, it's just the "This Month" report that for some reason includes Monday's tickets in last week's column. Any suggestions?
Searching requests is slow
Using SD+ 8.1.0 build 8109, searching requests takes upwards of 15 seconds to respond with results. We're currently approaching 95,000 tickets in the system, however, we've archived requests before 2/1/2012. Is this normal behavior, or is there something we can do to speed this up? SQL 2008 back-end.
Technician cost calculation
Hi, I've come across a slight flaw when I began to add time to cases, and although it's hardly a major flaw it still bothered me a bit as I had to do a bit of extra work. The problem is that when I enter time on a case and press enter without clicking anywhere else before it, it fails to calculate the cost and merely shows the cost as "0.00" while the added time is correct in all other aspects. So sometimes when a technician is rushing a bit it's not certain that the cost gets calculated properly,

Issue when a Support Rep creates a new request via Email.
When our support reps send an email to our ticket system to create a ticket (on behalf of a customer(account) most of the time) the ticket system assumes one of our active accounts.. which only has a 1 in 50 chance of being the right customer. I know we can then go in and change the contact field to a valid contact for the desired Account, and so force the resulting ticket into the correct Account after the ticket is made.. How can we tell (and manage) what end account will be assumed for any
OpManager Downtime Report only shows 24 Hours
Using build 9010 right now, soon to upgrade but the specific DownTime report will only show specific outages for the past 24 hours. When I run the report for Last Week, month etc there is no data even though there's Downtime. This specific report shows the individual outages rather than the bulk availability which just calculates total downtime. I want to see specific instances so I can calculate how many downtimes, ie: flapping circuit etc. Downtime report is it, but no data past 24 hours.

Opmanager AD integration not working properly
Hi, We're using v9400 and we're testing the AD single sign-on integration. We believe we found a minor bug in it. It looks like it can't handle nested groups. When we add an AD group that does not contain user accounts, but one or more global group(s) instead, it looks like the application is not capable enumerating the nested user accounts within. Can someone confirm this? Other than that it's great to have this feature!
Slow Web Access from Remote PC to OpManager
We are having an issue with the web interface for OpManager being very slow when the computer you are using is not on the same network as the OpManager server. It takes the login page a long time to appear and access within the program itself is pretty slow. Everything works, it is just slow.
