on Firefox: managed software not listed when creating new license due to special character

(This behavior can also be replicated under AssetExplorer 5617)

The Scenario below is done using Firefox 19.0.2; IE is not affected.:

One of the Adobe software scanned has the following information:
Software: Adobe Acrobat X Pro - English, Français, Deutsch
Manufacturer: Adobe Systems, Inc.
Type has been set as managed.

When we tried to create a new software license: Software > Software Licenses > Add New
on the [Manufacturer] field, we chose: Adobe Systems, Inc.
on the [Managed Software] field, there is nothing listed

After much testing, I found out that the cause of this is the character used on the software name.
See the software's name in question: Adobe Acrobat X Pro - English, Français, Deutsch
note the special 'ç' character used in the word "Français"
If this entry is set to managed, none of the other managed software (under the same manufacturer) will be listed when creating new license.

Software name length is not an issue since I've added a new software with similar name and it displayed just fine:
Adobe Acrobat X Pro - English, Francais, Deutsch 2
~I need to put in the number '2' since it complains that there's already a software with the same name, even though I used a normal 'c' character

I haven't tested this using another browser.
Any advice?
