PO Associated Assets are Missing
Hello, When I go into any PO, and click the Actions -> Associated Assets link the page is essentially blank: This was working up until about 2 weeks ago. It seems to have broken for another technician, and now it is not working for me as well. I have tried to view the associated assets with multiple computers and with different browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome). We are using version 9.0 Build 9011 Thanks!
Some basic options have disappeared from the control panel.
Hi, Since we have installed DesktopCentral MSP v. 9.0.0 with Build No.:90043, we realized that some options have disappeared from the control panel. First, logging with the customer admin user, there are no button to remove computers from the list. This option only appears with the admin user. Also, there aren't option to create dynamic groups neither the option to create a new configuration. Are there any patch to solve this or which solution? Thanks!!!
Computers are all selected by Default in Tools>Remote Shutdown
We use the Restart Now feature to restart specific PCs. Recently, all the PCs in our system are automatically checked when opening the Remote Shutdown windows. Happens in all browsers (IE, FF and Chrome). This selection crosses pages and it appears ALL PCS are selected. Is this some admin setting somewhere that we changed and can change back? We need the default action to be UNSELECTED. See example screenshot in attachment. Mike Mike Gerst

Hello Sir/Madam, while fetching the inventory details we are not able to get the Monitor serial number Details. we can fetch some of the details like monitor size & model but not the Serial Number. Kindly suggest the solution. Thanks, Govind Biradar
Service Account Locked Out
Good Day, We are using OpManager 11200 to monitor our servers and website urls using WMI. For the last 3 to 4 weeks the service account which we use gets locked out at irregular times and we get 100 of mails stating that the servers and urls are down. The account gets locked out every 2 to 3 days. If the wrong account details were added on one of the URL monitors, would OpManager not lock the account out constantly, instead this happens at irregular time intervals and days apart. Please assist
Problem search function request catalog
Hi, i have a question about the search function of the Request Catalog. We merged the Incident Catalog and the Service Catalog, and the users noticed us that the incidents cannot be searched through request catalog. The incident templates appears correctly onto their respective service category, but when they search for a template, the result shows only for service request. Linux Password Reset Issues
I have an issue with PMP resetting linux passwords. I have an account "User1" that has Sudo access. PMP issues the command: sudo passwd root then receives the response: [User1]password for User1: PMP then enters the newly generated password for the root account rather than the User1 account password. This is an issue as we need to reset a large amount of centos server passwords all of which do the same when using sudo. we dont have root passwords for all the servers so cannot use the other
SLA Notifications Technician name auto removal
Hello everyone, Have a problem in SLA notifications. I've created SLA notifications and configured some Technician and support group into it. But after some day some technician names and supports groups are auto removing and again we have to do the same activity of adding technician and support groups into SLA notifications. Level 1: 6 Technician and 2 support groups After 6-7 days Level 1: 2 Technician only Please help to identify the gap. Thanks.

Fix time setting on Desktop Central server
Can anyone help fix the time on my Desktop Central server? There is a post about running a java script, but it does not work. The post about this not working indicates to contact support. I did, but have not heard anything for a few days now. The server which this is running on has the correct time on it. However, the time stamp within the application is more than 3 hours in advance of real time. Thanks for any help you can provide. Chris

RBM is awful
I am giving a try to RBM, but it's really awful. The EUM agent execute other tests without any issue, but executing a RBM test is almost impossible. You should really found a better way to let it work.
Everytime I restart my server are installed SDP. It cannot working when startup.
Dear SDP team I have problem with my SDP build 9008. Everytime I restart SDP it cannot startup automatically. I usually use start by Manual. First I must start startsdp.bat and very long time to startup until I start run.bat it working. I usually used startsdp.bat and run.bat together it will working. In services.exe managengine.exe is start. I don't know about service of SDP is other than. Could you have solution about this problem? Now I use this workaround. Thank you.
Map shotcuts always critical.
Hi, we need to connect various business views with shortcuts. Since the shortcuts are on both sides this create loops and once the status of a business view turns red, everything connected turns red too and never go back to green. That is even when all the devices turn back to green, since the status of the business view is feeding via proxy to itself. Dynamic Group Deployment Issues
Hi, I had a Dynamic Group set up based on whether or not a particular software was installed. This Dynamic Group had 18 computers in it. When I used this group as a target for a software deployment configuration, my configuration went out to over 90 computers as soon as I deployed it. It was as if the configuration completely ignored my target group and instead deployed to all computers. I do not understand why this would happen. Thanks
Support Rep associated to an Account
I don't know why and how it happened, but one of the Support Reps is associated to a specific Account, everytime it send an email from his personal mail account to SupportCenter. So that on top of the request you can see: Contact : Charlie Smith (AAAAAAA) but on AAAAAAA account there isn't any contact with this name (this is correct) therefore there is no way to remove it. The email address is the same registered in the Support Rep settings. How can we restore the correct behavior i.e. no association
Email fetching not working
We are having an issue with email fetching once a week (build 7931), where fetching status is RUNNING but email are not fetched from the email server. The "Last attempt to fetch mail" shows that attempts are stuck at a certain time (e.g. 17:43:28, with 3 mails to be fetched). If the fetching is stopped and restarted, it updates the "Last attempt to fetch mail" and numbers of "Mails to be fetched" but emails are not fetched (e.g. 17:59:11, with 13 emails, see the pitcure). Active Directory dashboards show N/A
I know this question has been asked before, but I have tried everything I have read and nothing seems to fix the issue. When I add in a DC, OpManager correctly identifies it as a DC and has all the correct templates associated with it. When you look at the snapshot for any DC the dashboard items show N/A. After upgrade to 9, local authentication is default login
We just upgraded to the latest version and local authentication is the default box on the main login page. I've looked and we don't have any local authenticated users. We want the domain to be the default choice. It was working as intended before the upgrade. Please advise on a fix. Thanks.
Reset Email password dont arrived to some requesters
Hello, I use the trial version 8. In some cases, the reset email and the email of creation of password of service desk plus msp don't arrive to inbox(I see the junk too) mail. ServiceDesk Service not starting
I have updated TimeZone using tzupdater. Now ManageEngine ServiceDesk service is not starting. I still can start SD using run.bat. But I need to autostart SD service. Netflow Analyzer Plugin was successfully running and then quit working
So we had Netflow correctly setup and analyzing data. Last Friday it just quit working. No explanation of why. I've checked the switch and it's still sending traffic to our server via 6343. I've verified the incoming traffic with Microsoft Network Analyzer on the server. If I disable OpManager, InMon Sflow Trend reports the data. I've restarted the server multiple times and checked the admin settings in OpManager web console. Error Message: ------ No device is currently exporting NetFlow / sFlow
Exchange 2010 Monitors
Hi All, I setup opmanager to monitor our exchange server, the following monitor Messages Received Per Second is reporting that we are consistently receiving 20000 messages per second, I have verified this is not the case with other programs (exmon and performance monitor). I wondered why OpManager is reporting such a figure and if there is perhaps a way to change it? FYI other exchange monitors seem accurate and in agreement with other utilities. thanks

By adding a VMWare Host, by Virtualization> Add VMWare Host tab, the message "Device already present in the system", but the host does not appear in the list of hosts vmware, and searching by name only appears a white screen with the message "Error". How should I proceed?
Restricted Users report export problem
Hi, I love that you added the ability to export the restricted users list. However, I notice that is only exporting the first 25 names on the list. I can't get it to export more either.

I suggest searching through any other documentation maintained by ManageEngine and correcting as necessary. I'm surprised nobody has reported this yet!

Java deployment still not working correctly
When I rollout any version of java, I always set it to only install during startup. Ever since 9 came out that setting is ignored and java is installed immediately on the target computers. Java then is not installed properly and a manual install is required. Java 7.60 just came out and I decided to test deployment. I am still experiencing the same bad deployment issue that I had with 7.55 and DC 9. I recently upgraded our build to 90023 and the issue is still there. Has anyone experienced the same
Unable to delete duplicated assets with 'old' name
Hi All, Our license for maximum assets recently hit its limit. I noticed immediately that quite a large number of machines had duplicated themselves to old_1, 2, 3, 4, sometimes even to 20. I've tried to delete these assets, but the browser window times out after 30 minutes. I tried deleting one only, and this took a total of 20 minutes to delete one workstation. Im not too sure how long these workstations have been there for. Is there any way I can remove these workstations and stop future
Software-Inventory reports NO installation date for some applications
I need to know the installation date for applications I deploy using desktop central, because I have to make statistics showing how long (how many days) it takes to deploy a patch to all client machines. For Java and for Adobe reader, software inventory shows me an installation date - fine. BUT for Adobe Flash Player (both FF plugin and IE activex) and for Mozilla Firefox, DC's software inventory only shows me "--". And this is not a windows bug, because Windows "programs and features" control panel

We have just upgraded to 9.0 and were wondering want happened to the delete warning when you click actions, delete inside of a ticket. Its right next to print preview and if you miss-click you delete the ticket. Yes it can be recovered but it used to warn you and ask if you where sure... what happened to that?
Problem Deploying Adobe Shockwave Player
I have setup and deployed Adobe Shockwave Player v12.1.2.152 from the template in Desktop Central. So far no matter how I deploy the software all I am seeing is retry in progress. I have tried running the software from startup option and at the refresh interval. I have also tried deploying the software with the system user and with my domain administrator account. Any help on this problem will be greatly appreciated.
