Backupdata.bat fails
Backupdata.bat fails when I try to upgrade from 8000 to 8027. Returns ERROR = *Invalid object name "trace_xe_action_map".* I can not move forward with this upgrade until this is resolved.
Request does not fall under your permitted scope
Hoping someone can answer this for me. I've got a couple of requesters who cannot see requests/incidents created in their name. All other requesters have no problem. Clicking on the email link they receive when a request has been created and they are told 'Request does not fall under your permitted scope' I've re-created their SD accounts but that hasn't worked. They are not technicians Running version 8.2.0 Build 8212 Any ideas? Thanks
Desktop Central - Vulnerability DB updates failing
Desktop Central - Updates to vulnerability DB fails. Desktop Central Build 90046 Since 9/9/2014 automatic and manual attempts to update the Desktop Central vulnerability database have been failing. The failure message is "Failed to Update the Vulnerability Database" The progress screen seems to show that the process is successfully: 1- Connecting to the Central Repository Server 2 - Checking for new updates 3 - Downloading patch SQL's Tried disabling Synamtec EPP agent on the Desktop Central server

Inventory Issue for Mac (OSX) Agents
I was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue that I am with the Mac agent. Inventory scans seem to run just fine and from looking at the logs on the client workstation everything is scanned and successfully transmitted to the Desktop Central server however when trying to view inventory data for those workstations it seems to have a lot of problems. Specifically, for new agent installations when viewing the Inventory Details each of the tabs contain no data but the Last Scan time stamp
Cannot insert duplicate key in object
Hi Looking into stderr.txt log file, I see a lot errors a'la: [17 Sep 2014 10:51:56:212] SYS_ERR: java.sql.SQLException: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK__AM_NETWO__619AF25645E94432'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.AM_NETWORKINTERFACE'. The duplicate key value is (-1, 1410943905336). What is wrong and how do I fix it ? Creating New Users/Requesters - Not emailing user information
We are trying to set up multiple users. We did this individually and out of the 53 users we set up, only 4 sent the email to the new user to set up their account. We have tried removing and resetting up the users to make sure everything was ok, but no luck. We would like to implement this ASAP as we are already behind our original kickoff date. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else we can do? Thank you in advance for any and all assistance. ~Shannon
Application Layer hanging
I have reads the posts, to no avail. I have tried to re-install on 3 different clean 20123 servers. Each time, when I get to startsdp.bat, it hangs on the application layer. The logs seem to indicate request scheme is http an then stop at around 89 percent in that section. I am using stock settings, and the run.bat says I should be able to connect but I cannot. Any ideas? Using 8211 SDP MSP Pro build.

Hi, We have received reports from several users that after installing the ME MDM app on their Samsung Phones it causes a number of performance related issues: Phone becomes super slow; Stops working all the time to the point of shut down; Random call drop outs; Battery drains rapidly - From 100% to 0% in 6 hours or less Takes a very long time to charge Has this been reported before and if so what can we do to bring the overall performance of the phone back to what it was before the app was installed?
I can not generate reports for my devices
I would like to inform you that I have a problem when wanting to view reports for all my devices either RAM, Hard Disk Availability. As I can do to fix this? Someone who has been the same, or I indicate what steps to take? Thank you.
Patch Mgmt and Inventory support for new 64-bit Google Chrome browser?
I see this morning that the Win and Mac versions of Chrome v37.0.2062.94 are now detected. When I install the new 64-bit version of Chrome v37.0.2062.94 on a Win 7 SP1 workstation, then scan it for patches and assets, the 64-bit version is showing up exactly the same as the 32-bit version. There doesn't seem to be any detection of the 64-bit version. This will make it difficult to roll out the 64-bit version to our 64-bit workstations and tablets, if DesktopCentral can't tell us which ones are
Desktop Central is unable to start after Patch 90045
Hello Team, i´ve try to install the Security Patch with Build number 9_0_0_SP-0_45. During Installation i got the error, that some argument could not be read and the installation was aborting. I restart the whole Server and the Services from the Desktop Central Core Server will not be starting. Additionally, i canot install the newest Hotfix with Build number 9_0_0_SP-0_46 because i get a "unable to install update" warning and the installation is aborting. I´ve found some lines in the "dc_service_log"
Inventory > Software > Filter-by drop-downs no longer working in build 90059
I just applied the latest hotfix 90059 to our Desktop Central server last Saturday. I noticed today that when I select the Inventory tab, then select Software in the left margin and pick any of the categories (or domains or types of software) from the filters, nothing happens. Inventory > Computers and Inventory > Hardware filters work fine. Just Inventory > Software no longer responds. We have two configured administrators, and this is the case for both. I've tried using both Chrome and Firefox

graphic error in device availability, appears as (unmonitored = 100)
I commented that I have problems to check current availability chart of all my devices, the device appears as I enter " unmonitored " and shows me the graph of the time in which he has been active or down. Can't install ServicePack 9200
I am attempting to update OpManager from build 9101 to build 9200, but keep getting errors. I followed the normal routine of: Stop OpManager Run Update Manager Select the update file However, when I select the update file, I get an error in the GUI that reads "The file may be corrupted or check for the available disk space", and the command window behind it says "SEVERE: ERRError in writing inf.xml file." I have confirmed that there is plenty of disk space available on the server, and tried re-downloading

OPManager Pass Through Authentication
1. I have enabled OpManager pass through authentication after getting ServiceDesk Plus pass through authentication working - but now all I get is the authentication prompts and I can login or anything. How do I turn pass through authentication off outside of OpManager? 2. What is the correct process to setup pass through authentication in OpManager? I would have thought it was the same as SDP... FLUIDIC UI missing access to Plugins
I have noticed that the FLUIDIC UI is missing the "Jump To" ability for Plugins. When will this be added as this is troublesome to have to change back and forth between the FLUIDIC UI and the old UI to get to plugins then back to continue using the additional details provided in the FLUIDIC UI (graphs) to correlate issues.

Hello I am trying out Servicedesk plus for MSPs and i am encountering some issues. When i try to gennerate and app API key for a technichian or create a new service, i get the error: Exception while processing the request.. I then try to create a supportfile but the process never stops - i have waited an hour. I am running the free edition for testing pourpeses on a Debian 7.x x64 backend. Please advice me what to do. ServiceDesk Plus Service Catalogue Category - 500 error when trying to 'Add Service'

Redirecting to choose edition
Hi all, I setup and configured an on-demand account to evaluate the ServiceDesk Plus Help Desk yesterday. Everything seems working fine. Today, it keeps redirecting me to choose Edition. Does anyone experience this before? I am worried that if this solution is applied for my company, it just suddenly stopped without notification or anything and affects my customer supports. Add Reminder feature not working properly
We are having an issue with the "Add Reminder" feature within a ticket, located under the Actions menu. When the "Email me before" option is set to Never, our technicians do not receive any sort of notification on the time they specified. Once we set the field to "15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes,...,etc," then the feature works as it should and sends an e-mail to the technician who set the reminder. HI, We have following asset in our company. Cisco Catalyst 3750_Series (Host Name: ABC-1) Product type is Switch. Before we did the scan, we imported all our assets via CSV file. We imported in CI type: Router We didn't notice that Cisco Catalyst 3750_Series were within other router info. (ABC-1 is registered as Router with product Name; Cat 3750_Series ) When we scan the device(select the device and scan), Product Type was changed to SWITCH. (which is good!) However, I can't see the device info
Opmanager failure after migration
Hi there We recently migrated Opmanager from a physical server to a VM, Win Server 2008 R2, MSSQL 2008 R2, and everything seemed to be going smoothly but lately something occurs overnight to cause Opmanager to go down. No more alerts, and web console shows "Error!" and nothing else. Restarting Opmanager service fixes the issue (Temporarily) under the next night. Seems to occur early morning every day around when our Veeam backups are running. Like I said it used to be on physical server so not sure
Scope of management OU synchronization problem
I am running Desktop Central v90033. I have configured SoM to scan Active Directory for new machines every morning and automatically install the agent. I have noticed that SoM is finding computers that are not in an OU that I have specifically included in the configuration. If I select a parent OU in SoM, is that supposed to find machines in any of the OUs beneath it? If not, this appears to be a bug in the software.
