Account Requirements for ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Service
We recently had to change the service account for ME ServiceDesk Plus. Since that time, we have not had a successful backup. I am pretty sure these are related. Can someone tell me if there are more requirements for the service account?

Hello, I'm having a problem when trying to distribute IP Printers. Below is my configuration: Desktop Central Server running on Windows 2008 R2 Printers: HP LaserJet 4000 (with HP Universal Drivers) and Dell 1815dn MFP, shared through Windows Printing Service Clients: XP and Windows 7 (64 and 32bit) After I distributed the Printers through DesktopCentral it worked like a charm on all XP machines. Hi MDM Community, I have the big problema with "Automate OS Updates". For some reasons, I need to set the location services enable. Creating request using API, duplicate display name
I create new requests using the API. We have some requesters with the same display name, but unique email addresses. From what I can se the only way to specify the requester is using: <parameter> <name>requester</name> <value>Firstname Lastname</value> </parameter> However, when there are two users with the same name all requests get assigned to the first of them. I want to specify the requester with a mail address since all mail addresses are unique, however
Office365 - MailFetch Issue
Hi, Out of nowhere last Saturday the ServiceDesk Plus stopped Fetching e-mails. Upon looking at the log files I noticed the following: [12:52:09:721]|[09-17-2018]|[com.adventnet.servicedesk.common.MailUtilities]|[INFO]|[116]: Check if the username and password are correct| Although the password didn't change, nor is it set to expire and I do have the possibility to login to the account through office.portal.com with the password provided in the servicedesk. It doesn't look related to the certificate

At dashbord i see this allert, but allso have error - Failure (Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key AlertMail.REQUEST) Mail server settings is correct, test message is ok. Hi I have recently added requester and technician in SDP and login with requester account. When adding a new ticket I am not able to select the technician or any support group to assign my ticket to them. Please help!!
View asset history issue
Hi SD version 9.4 build 9414 When I try view asset history tab I get error. UPD. This is strange, but asset history tab show without error for assets with Disposed state.... UPD 2. With disabled "Pass-through authentication" option I get error as screenshot "Capture-2.jpg". With enbled "Pass-through authentication" option, I get this error on full page and page redirected to "https://hostname/AuthError.jsp?ErrorMsg=Sorry%20an%20error%20has%20occurred"
Ajax load problem with Firefox
Since upgrade to build 9700 we have a problem after an new login to the password managment, the ajax request gets stuck and the page does not load. We don't have the problem with Chrome! Regarding issue with resolve notification send to requester
The requester has to delete his / her browsing history every time to close any resolved ticket. When the requester clicked on the link to close the ticket he got the message “You are not authorized to view this page. (Requesters are allowed to closed their own resolved requests) He deleted his internet browsing history and then clicked on the same link.He was able to close the ticket after that. Tried using different browsers, same issue on all the browsers.
Script blocked by the browser on the login page
We are experiencing the following issue: When users are logging in, the browser does not load the required script and just hangs there. If the user refreshes the page (F5), they are already logged in and can continue. This has been tested with multiple browsers - screenshots from Chrome and Edge are attached. How do I connect a drop down to a SQL datasource?
HI, How do I have a drop down list pull in data from my MSSQL server table? Or If I have to I can have it batch the data in from a CSV file. But I need to fill a drop down with our data and then based on what my user selects - give a sub result. Exactly how 'category' and 'subcategory' work . If I need to I can use API, CSV to populate my drop down list, Insert directly into SQL table, etc. WHat is the method to accomplish this? Using python script to read a csv? Can't seem to find any info on this.
Performance Issue long loading Times opening Ticket System
we have set up the ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus System and changed every setting for us. Now we finally do our configuration and testing the system and found a performance issue. If we open our Link it takes about three seconds to load the site completely. In attach you can find some wireshark screenshots with bad checksum and a RTO of 3 Seconds. Maybe this is the problem we don’t know.. but for us and our employees is that unacceptable. The other thing is we want to change the Icon in the Header

Clear Passcode == Permanent Policy Violation?
While testing ME MDM+, I used the Clear Passcode function on a new tablet. It worked as expected, forcing a passcode reset on the tablet. After the tablet had a new passcode, however, the policy violation remained. Even though the new passcode is compliant with the MDM+ policy, it still complains about the policy violation. How can I change the list of Default Filters for the requesters?
I cannot seem to alter this list - add a specific filter, or even remove filters. Some of them are very confusing for the end-user. Is this normal ? Do you have a workaround ? Because requesters cannot even seem to create their own views.. thx D

Comments Not Displaying Correctly in Reports
Hello, when we run our weekly project reports the milestone/project comments are displayed with extra line breaks and occasionally some HTML code. This just started since upgrading to version 9414. I've attached an example of how it looks when entered into project/milestone comments vs how it looks in our report. We are on version 9414 and use MSSQL. Is there a report for the most basic metric?
I'm new to this forum and fairly new to ServiceDesk Plus. I run a small department of 3, including myself. Of the dozens and dozens of pre-programmed reports in SDPlus, is there a basic report that shows number of tickets per week or number of tickets per month? Really basic stuff. I can't find it - and I certainly don't want to program it. Thanks for any direction you can provide.
Desktop Central service wont start
Hi I have just installed Desktop central 10 on windows 10 and everything was working fine after install. After restarting the computer, I received a reminder that the service was stopped. Not sure why this, I would be grateful if someone could lend me a hand.
Service Desk Plus - Notification Rules
Hey There, I have setup the free version of service desk plus (5 technicians) I have Notification rules setup eg: Acknowledge requester by e-mail when a new request is received. They don't seem to be sending out automated replies. Is this functionality available on the free edition? Service Desk Plus Upgrade Failure
I am trying to upgrade our test system of Service Desk Plus, I have successfully installed a few patches but when trying to go from version 9300 to 9335 it fails and the following error appears in the log file: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "CustomReportFilterColumns_FK1". The conflict occurred in database "servicedesk_TEST_NEW", table "dbo.CustomReport_Details", column 'REPORTID'.
SNMPv3 - "Authentication failure, bad community string"
I have just upgraded to Netflow Analyzer 12.3 after running the reinitializeDB.bat from 12.2 and am having trouble getting my device and interface names populated in the database again via SNMP v3. These devices are primarily Cisco routers and I am getting "Authentication failure, bad community string" from my debugs when NFA attempts to retrieve the router and interface names. I have verified the credentials I've input are correct by using a 3rd-party SnmpWalk tool from the same server running NFA.
SDP Mobile App and Assets Scanning
We currently have SDP premise and have the mobile app on our iPhone. We are about to perform a physical inventory of our equipment and wanted the techs to be able to scan our barcode with the mobile app to look up the device. Inside the app, I go to Assets> Scan Assets. The scanner reads the barcode but then says No Details Found. This also happens when I type in the barcode. Is there a way to do what I'm asking? If not we will have to go back to pen and paper.

We have a need for sms escalation localy on the opm-server. With older editions we have had sms-modem enabled but in release 12.3 there is a change in the setup-settings form. The sms-modem haven't been stable for us but sometimes it sends a bunch of messages... error when changing, resetting or unblocking user
We are presenting the error attached to the platform in an exporadic but concurrent way, when changing the password, resetting the password and regardless of the type of user authentication "SMS or Googl Authenticator" says that the user is blocked even though the policy is configured option to unlock the user once the key is reset or changed. already validate the user in the active directory and it is not blocked, could it be an error in the application ?.

Un-Merging Multiple Requests - SD Plus Cloud
Hi, Ive had an issue where a technician has merged multiple requests by accident which has created 127requests in 1 job! and there is no where I can find to restore or unmerge the requests, if I manually unmerge one of the requests it splits as a new request and loses the notes on the original job as they remains on the new merged request, has anyone had this issue and been able to find a solution this is critical and I cant get through to support.. Software Removal
I was tasked with removing Larson VizEx Reader from 41 machines. I did some research and found the uninstall string which I used to remove the software with Desktop Central. So far I have only had a couple of failures which were related to the OS being 32 bit. The problem is the configs are successful but when I run my custom report it still shows all 41 machines listed as having the software installed. I have tried changing some of the criteria on the report. Rebooting the server just in case the
