Hi, When ever i try to update profiles or distrubate apps, I get this Error (See attached file) I've had this error before but a quick reboot fixed it. Now the error stays when I reboot. Any advice? Thanks in advance, Yorick

Hi, I'm wondering if i can disable the Developer option from the whole device. As i know i can Restrict/disable Developer Mode but when i choose it, nothing changed ! i still can use the development option. Our devices runs, Samsung OS in the profile ( in mdm ) is Developer Mode : Restricted I know if the Device is Supervised or Device owner, then you can disable it from same configuration ( Configuration prof --> Restrictions --> Security --> Developer mode : restrict) but what is the device is
How do we change the size of Icons in Kiosk Mode
We have some tablets that run Kiosk mode, the icons are way too small, even when we change display scaling settings. Please can you add an option to change the size of the icons when a device is in kiosk mode. The option to deploy a layout would also be cool. Many thanks Luke

Hi, I've just got a working mdm scenario. It is working fine on IOS because of the standard mail app. But on android and Windows i want to use outlook. not Gmail Or the standaard mail app on windows. I was task to go into our Active Directory, under Users and Computers, and for every computer, assign a user under Managed By. I wonder if there is an easy way to do this in Desktop Central or AD Manager. Thanks!

Firstly, can we please start including in the patch notes that the Desktop Central Forwarding Server (Secure Gateway Server) is also being updated with the Desktop Central Build? Or Include a banner on Desktop Central when you login that the Forwarding Server (Secure Gateway) is out of date? Hi, I am trying to deploy certificate using profile management in MDM, but after selecting the certificate and clicking save nothing happens, and the certificate configuration does not have the correct sign to show that it is configured.?
Issues with Desktop and MDM Plugin
I have updated to the latest build for Desktop Central and Service Desk, and for the technicians, we enabled the option Enable to access Desktop and MDM Plugin Functionality. However, when we try to use that functionality, we get an error shown in the image below I have tried to contact support but they weren't able to find a solution. Hi all We are currently building up a new Solution for one of our Customers. As they already have Mac Devices, managed over a different Company and MDM Solution, we want them to provide the same Capabilities. That's why we would like to use the Modern Management Part with Azure. But we will need to be able to do different Configuration and Software Deployments on these Devices. Is it possible to use Modern Management and also the DC Agent? Or could this create Issues? As far as I know we can't handle

I found some policies in the profile manager, but I assume it works only for Store Apps. And I want to restrict installation of any software (exe, msi, etc)
Passcode, GEO Location, phone number Reset Android 9
Hi All, We have struck an issue with our latest Samsung A20 devices running Android Version 9 where we can not change the passcode of the device through the MDM, nor can we clear the passcode. Other issues that we are having are: GEO Location is not detecting the location of the device The SIM Phone number is not coming through. We have followed all of the required steps (download current token, upload to Apple Business Manager portal, download new token, upload to ManageEngine Desktop Central), and we are getting the attached error message. User did factory reset
When an employee quit they factory reset the device before handing it back in. Somehow this completely severed the link with Manage Engine. We cannot communicate with the device anymore. The device has been logged into and it doesn't have the MDM installed on it. I feel like this is a serious security breach if at anytime they can remove the MDM and tracking on the device and have a completely unlocked device! Apps not automatically installing
Hello, I am using Mobile Device Manager for Manage Engine Desktop Central. When I go to deploy an app or update, I have the option to send the install to the ME app catalog on their devices, or do a silent install. With a silent install, I am under the impression that it is supposed to install without any user intervention on the device. Instead, it sends a pop-up message to the device asking if it wants to proceed with the install. Should this be happening? Thanks, Joe Satow

Syncing devices across MDM and Apple Business Manager
Hello, We are trying to integrate Apple Business Manager with MEDC Mobile Device Manager. We have successfully synced them together with the server tokens. We are unable to add a device to Apple's portal, but we can successfully add a device to the MDM portal. The problem is that we want to manage application deployment through Apple's ABM portal. I cant seem to find where the app licenses on ABM are syncing up with MDM. Is this possible? Thanks! -Joe Satow

Desktop Central MDM User Sync Not Working
Good Morning, I am unable to successfully sync users in my on-prem AD Domain. Computer details sync correctly, and the user names will sync but no user attributes. Due to this problem I am unable to enroll newly created users into MDM via domain authentication. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Devices enrolled but not allowed in Conditional Exchange Access
We have Desktop Central on premise with Mobile device management. We have devices enrolled (both Android and IOS) that when we enable Conditional Exchange access for the users, the devices is put in the "In grace period" or "Restricted" group. What criteria does it use to determine if the device is allowed other than being enrolled in MDM? Or is there something that could be keeping the MDM device from linking up with what is in Exchange?
MDM without Secure Gateway
Hello, We using Desktop Central as Freeware-Edition and now I want to use the MDM-Part. I am reminded that one could use mdm without a gateway. Is this still possible or do I need a license for the gateway. If so, it will also be needed for the freeware version? Is there a test license to test the function in advance? Ralph

Enrollment URL for Apple devices
Hi Team Is still available the possibility to enroll an apple device with enrollment URL? I have an issue with one iPad, after the profile setup the MDM webpage show me this message "Device enrollment failed. Contact System Administrator to complete enrollment device" and on the MDM it show me this Desktop Central is unable to reach the APNs. How to get iOS device from self-enrollment to DEP
Our Apple DEP certificate had expired and we had 56 Apple iPhones self-enroll in our MDM server before we realized it and now they are not Supervised. I have renewed the Apple DEP certificate and want to know the process to get those 56 iPhones enrolled through DEP so that they can be Supervised. Enrollment via URL doesn't work
Hi Team I trying to enroll an iPad with the enrollment URL, like I usually do. After the Profile setup the webpage show me an error that the Enrollment can't be completed. And If I watch on the MDM I see this error "APNs not reachable from iOS device due to 5223 Port Block" I checked my firewall and the port 5223 is not blocked. Any suggestions? How do I restart APN creation
I'm using Desktop Central MSP and have just begun to explore the MDM feature set. I started the 3 step process of creating and Apple APN but, am stuck. After completing the first step, the one in which I enter my company name and email address, I moved on to the second step.
