We using Desktop Central as Freeware-Edition and now I want to use the MDM-Part.

I am reminded that one could use mdm without a gateway. Is this still possible or do I need a license for the gateway.

If so, it will also be needed for the freeware version?
Is there a test license to test the function in advance?
