Best way to setup a Samsung Sx mobile as a BYOD to manage it with MDM?
Hi,
I'm testing the MDM. Now I have a Samsung S5 that I would like to manage with MDM as a BYOD. To separate private and business data and apps.
Starting situation is:
* S5 is factory reset
* I add a google account (private account)
* Then I enrolled the device as an android->Samsung->personal device (installing mdm app, qr code .....)
* Then the Google AfW Account was added to the device.
But it looks like, that the data/ apps from AfW Account aren't isolate from the private space. And I don't have the special AfW app icons with the red briefcase for the apps.
If I follow the same steps on a Google nexus 5 device I have the AfW icons.
Could it be, that Samsung S devices can't be configured this way or used this way because of the Samsung Knox feature? How can I configure a Samsung S device as a BYOD to separate private and corporate data?
Any ideas?
bye,
